pulled our car into the parking space in front of the restaurant. as soon as we put the car in park an employee from joe came outside, made us roll down our window and yelled at the driver telling us to move our car. not even knowing where we would be going. stormed back into joe. very rude.

If you want New York pizza in Fort Worth go here. I’m sure they have other stuff but when the pizza is that good you just end up getting a whole pie every time.

This is less about the food and more about the amazing family behind Joe’s! I just witnessed what makes this place unique and special. If you are one that appreciates the love that goes into your food you need to come here. I just saw grandma, mom and dad(owners) and kids all being loving in words and giving hugs and kisses to grandma behind the counter before she left. Some of their kids are in corner booth doing after school homework! One of the kids was helping mom and dad too behind counter-so sweet! Truly what one might envision when they think of an Italian family business that wears their heart on their sleeve. Joe may seem like a tough Italian guy but I’m telling you that family will soften anyone’s heart! The family love isn’t the only thing in abundance around here their NY style pizza and Italian dishes are portioned generously as well leaving most more than satisfied! See for yourself!

Still the best pizza in Fort Worth. In response to the other recent reviews: — About the 9.95 one topping deal, Joe recently had to raise his prices because of his rent being raised due to the gentrification of nearby Magnolia Street and restaurants attempting to move into his spot. He told me he didn’t want to change the prices as they had been that way for a number of years but it was necessary to stay in business. He should take the signs outside down, though. –To whoever it was that wrote that the«Joe’s on Clifford» will add extra cheese and the other person that said they’re a regular customer at the«Hulen Joe’s», THISISNOT A PARTOFANYOTHERJOE’S INTHEAREA. This is a stand alone, the only location that they run. It is family owned and operated and has been there for a number of years. Asking for extra cheese probably insulted the guy as his pizza is already damn good and cheesy enough as it is. –Lastly, as stated before, this is the only Joe’s there is. Although it might not be the best business model, he seems to care less about new customers if they want to give him a hard time in any way. This is because he has been there for a number of years and he already has his customer base. The Park Place and Fairmount areas have loads of folks that are faithful to Joe’s and their pizza. Don’t trust the whiny Unilocalers. Go order a pie and taste it for yourself.

You want a New York pizza in Fort Worth, TX? From the guy almost telling you,” get the F@$k out here”, restaurant needing some remodeling and good tasting pizza, this is the place. I have stop here before almost at closing and they have taken care of me. My usual is the calzone pepperoni or spinach for $ 7.00. Big and filling worth every penny. Taught I had review or check in before but guess I haven’t. Today we stop by to get there large pepperoni pizza and let me tell you that was a great greasy, spicy pepperoni and thin enough pizza. It was Ggggrrreeeaaattt!!! Back again! They are the New York pizza in Ft. Worth, TX

I met my wife here to grab food on my break being new to the area. The sign out front said 9.95 one topping so we figured we would get one for us and the kids. When we walked up and asked for the special the man seemed irritated that we weren’t ordering slices for lunch. He told us the one topping special was 12.00, I thought«whatever». We asked for a pizza with cheese, and extra cheese… he refused. Shocked I said«please just charge us for the extra cheese we don’t care» He said he doesn’t do «extra cheese». I told him the kids liked extra cheese from the Joes on Clifford, he still refused. He went into a rant about how cheese cost too much and his pizza has plenty of cheese, so we just went with it. Well when we got the pizza it was a joke, hardly any sauce or cheese. If there was a pizza shop closer this guy would be out of business. Its so unprofessional, old, dirty, ANDYOUCANTORDERWHATYOUWANT! First and last time I will go to this dump.

This place is fantastic! The pizza is cheap and always great! The many times I’ve come, the owner is always there and he has always been too great to me! I would absolutely recommend to check it out if you haven’t yet!

I called and asked for the«$ 8.99XX Large, one topping pizza» that is advertised at this price on the sign outside. I specifically said this price during the order. I went to pick it up, and the girls behind the counter(the owner’s daughter and granddaughter) tell me $ 12 even. After doing a second of calculations in my head, I say to them, «The pizza isn’t really $ 8.99, is it?» They tell me, no, that the sign is wrong, and it’s really $ 9.95. Another quick calculation in my head tells me that $ 9.95 + tax still does not equal $ 12, but I pay it anyway without saying another word. I do this because I have been here many times before and am no stranger to the owner and I know this is not a battle I want to fight. After all, what pizza place asks customers to pay with cash instead of a card so that they don’t incur the fee from the credit card company? The thing is, I’d pay $ 12 for an XX Large pizza any day – that is a good deal! But it’s the principle… don’t tell me it’s $ 8.99 and then charge me $ 12. I will not be going back there again. Yes, the pizza is good, but anything else is a little suspect(i.e., not fresh). I don’t like to walk on egg shells when I’m being provided a service and paying for it, and that’s what you have to do with this owner. Oh, and the next day, the sign did change to $ 9.95 for the XX Large pizza, but again, with tax, that still doesn’t come to $ 12 even.

Best Joe’s I’ve ever had. Pizza is perfect and greasy(hey, sometimes a girl wants a greasy pizza) and cheap! I’ve had the pepperoni and the alfredo. Both are amazing. The owner can be a little grumpy, but he’s nice if you’re nice to him. We’ve called in with several orders on different credit cards before and I can tell it tasks him, but I use my nice voice to get him to be less surly.(Seriously, my co-workers make ME call just because of my «nice voice».) Sometimes I dream about this pizza. I wish the Joe’s near my house was half as good! Alas, I just have to wait until people at work want to order it for dinner.

I was told 45 mins to an hour and the place is right up the street… The food was delivered 30 mins late, the pizza is ice cold, and it all smells like cigarette smoke– even the plastic covering for my salad. They delivered after the restaurant is closed, so I can’t even call to speak to a manager. I’ve never eaten here, in person or for delivery… And I never will. They will be getting a visit from me right at opening and I expect a full refund.

I DONOT recommend the Park Place Joe’s. I made the mistake of asking the man behind the counter for change(was going to doctor nearby and needed tip dollars for valet parking guys). He asked if I was going to buy something. I said«No, but I’m a regular customer at the Hulen Joe’s.» The man, who had an Albanian/type accent, got mad and said loud enough for a couple and their kids sitting near the counter, «I don’t give a sh** about the Hulen Joes!» It ended badly with me shaking, leaving without change and him yelling«bitch!» Behind me.(Family still looking on with mouths hanging open.) I’m still in shock.

I’ve been sick in the hospital for the last six days and am tired of eating the hospital food. I mentioned it to my parents and they said they would take care of dinner tonight. I thought they were going to bring me some homemade goodness and sit and visit for a bit; but a pizza from Joe’s arrived instead. It was so good! Hot, fresh and bursting with flavor, this was some of the best pizza that I’ve had in Ft. Worth — and I’m not just saying that because I’ve been in the hospital! It’s really, truly tasty! Great price as well(the driver left me the receipt). The only negative I’ve got is that the crust could have been cooked a minute or two longer.

LOVE this pizza. Great new york style, by the slice or by the whole pie. We always get the X-Large and munch on it for a few days. Also, they’ll deliver to the fairmount neighborhood if you ask.

We came in when the Neighborhood Grill was busy. Too hungry to bother waiting or driving anywhere, we jumped next door here instead. It was a cold, dark day, and there was one other table in there for dinner. It was very dingy indeed. Frank and I sat underneath a bunch of decorations on shelves that you can tell have not been cleaned in a loooong time. The food prices are really cheap, though. My husband’s spaghetti looked like it was of the canned variety; I didn’t see any green flecks or anything else to conclude that his sauce had anything remotely fresh in it. I got an eggplant parm sandwich. Again, nothing to write home about, but it was CHEAP and covered in cheese. I think together our meal was like $ 11 – 12 bucks. They also sell pizza by the slice for under $ 2. It may have been sitting out all day; I have no idea. I might take them up on that if I was coming in at lunch, otherwise I can’t see myself coming back here on purpose.
