Absolute terrible customer service. Drove 1 hr to get there because we both work. Arrived at 5:00 because the website says they close at 5:30 but apparently they close whenever they want. The doors were locked and they wouldn’t even open the doors to speak with us. We were looking to purchase wedding bands here but we will take our money elsewhere.

After spending half a day in jury duty, I was released to go grab something eat. I was walking around and found Haltoms. The store is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Staff at haltoms are top notch when it comes to customer service. The watch selection are pretty solid(better than the arlington location), what really sold me was they’re a AD for Patek Philippe. Two thumbs up

Just love everything about this location of Haltoms, first everyone is extremely nice it doesn’t matter if you’re just looking or you came in to buy a $ 15,000 Rolex each customer is given the same respect and courtesy rare these days. Also they know jewelry and if you ask something they don’t know they will find out! Once you shop at Haltoms you are family and it’s nice being able to step into a shop where they actually remember you, and you remember THEM for great quality and utmost in customer services

Thanks Haltoms for sizing my watch. In and out in five minutes. No charge and I didn’t even buy it there.

A business is a business, I get it. You’re not here to just stand around and give away things, but I’m going to break down my experience with Haltom’s in an analytic and fair review. My fiancée and I went into a Zales weeks before and got my finger measured and learned about all kinds of diamonds and the three C’s that rule them all(color, cut and clarity). We shopped the market for a little bit but decided Haltom’s would be a great place to buy. They are a local Fort Worth business, claim to be a «little» guy and promise not to treat you like a corporate conglomerate. Their«About Us» section makes statements like: «Haltom’s treats our customers as friends and our employees as family members,» and«Our values as a family owned business reflect those of our customers’ families and our goal as a family business is to serve our customers’ families throughout their lives.» My fiancée goes in to buy a ring, picks one out and tells the sales representative my size. The guy responds with: «Are you sure that’s her size, because that’s my size?» Fair question, but my fiancée insists that we just got my finger measured and I am a 7.5. The sales clerk seriously insists I’m a 6(having never met, seen or measured me), and convinces my fiancée to buy the 6 and always come back and get it resized. The proposal happens, the ring doesn’t fit, the story comes out and I can’t wear my ring. When we do go in to get it resized, we are greeted by another woman who was very friendly and helped us resize the ring at no charge. However, she did say«most of the time it takes a week, but since you’re newly engaged I’ll put a rush order on it.» I don’t find that fair to other customers picking favorites. Everyone should be treated with the same respect. Even if she was just saying that to make us feel good inside, it’s not something to be bragging about to customers. You look bad and unfair. Anyways, recently I was in a close-call car accident. I was in the back seat when a car pulled out of an apartment complex without looking and we had to slam on the brakes to avoid collision and I was flung into the back of the front seat. When all was over, my ring had looked like it had exploded and the diamond was no where to be found. We searched the car for two hours and found nothing. Unfortunately, this is my friends car who lives far away so we can’t frequently look for it. Our immediate instinct is to go to Haltom’s. See what they can do, see if they can refer us to someone who can help, perhaps take a look at the ring and see if it was unstable in the setting to begin with, I had it less than 90 days. We went into the store and I told the sales guy my story and asked if he could take a look at the ring and asked for advice on what to do(at this point I’m in tears). He seriously could have cared less. He got his eye piece out looked at the ring and said: «That’s a really strong setting.» I asked him who I could talk to insurance-wise, or if they had a warranty or anything. Just some kind of advice. Their mission statement claims they would treat me like a friend. This guy did not even apologize. Did not even offer any kind of sympathy or support. He literally tried to sell me another ring. I walked out of there so unimpressed by their service, and so sad that I was offered no help. Like I said, I understand they are a business, and they can’t just give things away. But they can at least be a nice person and offer some sort of advice or condolence. I will never go back to Haltom’s and I will steer all of my friends and family away. Not because I didn’t get a free or discounted ring, I can’t stress that enough. It’s because I was treated as a point-of-sale after a traumatic incident, and not as a human being.

I was treated so poorly when I was trying to purchase a Tag Heuer watch that I would not buy it from Haltom’s for 95% off. Not one employee, but 2 insinuated that I was stupid and insisted that I had been buying fake timepieces for years! When the manager said I was«off the reservation» for wanting pricing that was more in line with what the internet suggests, I realized that I was not going to deal with Haltom’s for anything, ever again. FYI: I took my brother there to buy his Tag since they had serviced one of my «fake» Rolexes.
