When you’re in the mood for an awesome breakfast burrito(for cheap) or a Greek style gyro, this is the place to go. It’s only open from early in the morning until 3 pm so you gotta go for breakfast or lunch. The gyros are really, really good and I’ve eaten some from Greek restaurants that paled in comparison. The place isn’t a place to come dine in, with only a few booths in a cramped area, it’s more of your typical hole in the wall. All they need now are street tacos and it will be the best thing to ever happen to this area lol

This is not a traditional gyro place, its definitely Americanized. It’s like the owners thought, hmm what else goes with burgers, lets add quesadillas and gyros. The staff is always friendly and when you call a pick up order it is ready when you get there which is awesome when you only have 30 minutes for lunch. I usually get the gyro sandwich, it comes with the taziki sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and meat(beef or lamb). It does taste really good and it’s really filling. The sandwich does come on a big pita bread but I find it strange to have pickles, and if you get the combo you get a side of fries and a canned soda. The fries are crinkle cut and have a nice seasoning on it and the sodas are cold.

I have to say, from a flavor standpoint, the gyro was top notch. But, the meat obviously came prepackage, not sliced off of spit, and it was so sparse, I had to look twice to make sure there was any meat. Yet like I said, it tasted good. First time I have had cilantro on a Gyro. Yum. Come on guys, a Gyro is mentioned to be packed full of meat.

Real awesome place! Enjoyed the times I’ve been there since it’s so close to my house and on my way to work, it’s the perfect place to get some great cheap breakfast, lunch and dinner. The signature seasoned fries and included soda makes you feel fuller when you are really hungry. It’s a much better alternative than the usual fast food joints out in this area.

I eat here for breakfast. Very fast service. The owner is extremely nice. The food is good just not freshly made. The eggs are pre-made. I dont mind ready made bacon but i wish the eggs were cooked to order. Very good value for the money. Faster, cheaper, more food, and better quality then other surrounding fast food breakfast restaurants.

Tacked onto a gas station in the middle of basically nowhere, this little place serves some great Mexican type food, along with gyro sandwiches. I had a breakfast burrito with chorizo and egg and cheese. It was the bomb. And the side of fresh salsa was excellent. The prices are dirt cheap. I sat outside, which would have been pleasant except people also smoke out there, so it kind of ruined it for me. If you happen to be here, for whatever reason, check out this place.

I had the chicken tacos, side salad, and a side of rice and beans. I must say the food had a great flavor. Great prices too. Must try

I got the gyro plate and was disgusting. The meat was some kind of stakem paper thin and crunchy. Before I paid I asked if it was off the spicket and she said yes. Then put the meat on the grill. She lied. But it was too late. I assume she had no clue what I was talking about. Do not eat this dish. Ever!

I ordered the gyro platter which came with lots of food but the gyro was not what I expected. The meat is paper thin and crunchy, I will definitely not be going back.

Tiny gem of great food hidden next to a 7 – 11. This is a breakfast place and they close shortly after lunch. Their beans and rice are wonderful and the menu prices are super low. This is a «to go» thing. The staff is nice and fast but there’s no where to sit really, unless you enjoy a line of people standing over you while you eat.

I write this review literally a minute after devouring my gyro plate. Was craving some gyro and this came up on Unilocal. This is located at the 7 – 11. Well, next to it, but it’s essentially one building divided by a wall probably. I ordered the«Gyro Plate» and the kind person yelled out to the cook, «Gyro plate!» The short time I was waiting for my food, the guy told me I could get any drink I want. I then asked, «It comes with it?» He said, «Yup!» And while I was waiting, I contemplated how to really say«gyro». The workers and even some customers were saying Gye-Roh. I don’t want to be picky, but it’s actually«Yeer-roh». Anyway, that kept me company for the 5 minutes I was waiting for my food. I opened the box and I was amazed at the amount of food. There was a salad, hummus, pita bread, rice and the gyro meat. All for under like 10 bucks. The gyro was thinly sliced and has a nice crisp to it. Used to the thicker slices, but this was pretty good. Nice flavor, tender and lots of it. The rice, it was a bit dry, but it went with the meal in some way. The hummus was salty. The pita bread did help out a little, but still salty. The salad was okay. Nice break to the savory flavors perhaps? Their white sauce was also salty. But it all goes together. Great place for lunch. Don’t expect to dine in because it’s pretty small with 2 or 3 booths and then bar-like seating for 3 – 4 people.

3.75 stars. This place is very good but certainly not 5 stars. C’mon, people! Gyros are good at this little hole in the wall. It’s busy energy behind the counter as they take your order then cook in front of you. Alright, let’s be real. There’s limited seating. The place is not gonna win any design awards. Service is quick and friendly. And the food is good. That’s 3.75 stars when compared to other similar places. To be fair I have not had the widely acclaimed breakfast burrito. Perhaps if I did I’d be enamored with the place. Until then I’ll stand by my review.

I love it. I’m a huge Gyro fan anyway — and this one does not disappoint. The service is PROMPT and the place is clean. Insider tip — if you want a bit of a larger Gyro — ask for MOREMEAT –they charge you a small amount for it but it’s well worth it.

Went here after reading all the rave reviews. The first time I went they were closed, the hours on Unilocal are incorrect, their actual hours are 6 – 3 M-F, 7 – 2 Sat, Closed Sun. Next time i went I got the Gyros Salad. The meat they serve is NOT Gyros. It is wafer thin, pre molded, strips of «meat», that I would guess they buy frozen by the pallet load. This«meat» they then warm up on the breakfast grill. It was greasy and tasted nasty. I have eaten hundreds of Gyros over the years, and this pseudo meat was by far the worst I have ever had anywhere. No round stack of meat being roasted and carved off a rotary gas grill here! The rest of the salad was about the same quality as the meat. I will never eat here again, it was that bad. Maybe their breakfast fare is better, but I cant give my money to a place that serves that kind of «meat» and dares to call it Gyro. Yuck!

Breakfast Saturday a.m.- Unilocaled it. Had a hankering for a breakfast taco/burrito. Drove up and as mentioned before, you think,‘This is not the place.’ Placed beside a gas station and just enough room. Greeted warmly. Clean place. Burritos for breakfast and burritos only. I got the potato, the bride got the steak. One is all you need. I was full until we got the ballpark Saturday night and really, I could have cut that back some. If in the hood, drop by.

If there’s one thing I love more than good food next to value: it’s convenience, and while they’ve somehow dodged my presence up until only recently albeit being no more than three minutes from my office, Gyro & Burrito House delivers all three of the things that I love. This is now a regular spot without question. Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? Sure, G&B House is tucked away next to a 7⁄11 in a semi-strip mall that’s underperformed for years, and the décor is nothing of note, but it’s the service that makes the experience. While conscious of the fact that most patrons need to be in and out quickly whether it’s breakfast or lunch to return to their duties most likely at either Bank of America or American Airlines, the two to three man operation at G&B are friendly, and often throw in a joke or two to make even a rough weekday morning a bit better. Service is both fast and friendly, with parking sometimes being the only inconvenience. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? I can’t say enough about how value not at the expense of quality is becoming a lost culinary art, and fortunately you’ll be hard-pressed to find something on the menu at G&B that’s over $ 6.00. My mixed-meat gyro topped off at $ 4.99; and as you’ll read, was a quality product. Have a look: Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? While I’ll admit I was hesitant at first with regard to what I’d unwrap having spent only $ 4.99, the appearance of my gyro alone was enough to alleviate my concerns. A soft, fluffy but flavorful and grilled gyro was filled with fresh meats, veggies, and some delicious sauce. Wonderful. While these are Greek style gyros as opposed to the Turkish style kebabs that are freshly sliced off of a rotating spit, the quality and taste were excellent, and I’ll go as far as to say that my gyro was among the best I’ve had in Dallas. I’ve heard rave reviews about the breakfast burritos as well, and will be back in the very near future to give them a whirl. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? You know, I might do exactly that. While nearby Simply Burgers has held down the fort as of late with regard to being essentially the only good food in the immediate area, Gyro & Burrito House has actually surpassed the bar as I see it — delivering tasty food at a great value in an area where both are desperately needed. Well done. Star Granted.
