This place is has a great priced all you can eat lunch (salad, pizza & specialty items listed below) buffet! A local secret favorite spot. I get there at 11a when I go, and… choose your day based on the added specials:
The Big Apple Lunch Buffett — $ 5.99.
Monday & Thursdays is Meatballs and Pasta.
Tuesday is Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans! *My Fav*
Wednesdays is Meatloaf.
Friday is Turkey Rolls.
Can’t go wrong here! ;-)

Great atmosphere, if you enjoy a smoky room. If you don’t they have amazing food had their pizza Alfredo and it’s like pizza huts pasta Alfredo on top of pizza, but theirs taste so ugh better! So if you enjoy smoke or not they have great food and if you do enjoy smoke they have a great establishment.

All regulars, not nicely decorated, REALLY rude bartenders. I take it the women bartenders do not like other women patrons. And the proof is in the puddin, there’s not one attractive women in the joint anytime I’ve ever been. They must feel threatened and be running them all off to secure tips from the men in there. They do a popular Super Bowl pool, but my friend won once and was not paid all that was promised.

Where does one begin? This is a dive bar. That’s why I love it. You should know what you’re getting into. If you want fancy then keep going. If you want locals with no social skills and reasonably priced drinks in a smoke filled bar than this is your stop. The owner is a really friendly and welcoming guy. I’ll be here next time in DFW.

Smokey dive bar in a depressing strip mall in a depressing area.
They had the worst karaōke I’ve ever heard in my life.
The clientele was a bunch of old men and fat women, all smoking.
The Bud Lite draught was stale.
If you’re stuck here, waiting overnight for a flight out, as I was, this is about your only option.
Yuk.

Read other people’s reviews on this place but since Monday Night Football had already started and the stomach was complaining, why not give it a shot? This was the closest place to killing two birds with one stone.
I guess you can call it a dive bar but it has an outside patio with a pool table and a nook for (is that Golden Tee?!?) two arcade games. Nice sized bar with plenty of screens all around, so what about the food?
Someone else on Unilocal complained about the size of their wings but I found them very adequate (ladies, it’s not the size of the wings but how feels in your mouth).
Accompanying the beers were chili cheese fries which I thought were pretty darn good, not to mention our friendly and cute server. Thank you (!) and 4 stars in return!
Unfortunately you missed another star because yes, it’s a little smokey in there — but this is a bar right? If I was a smoker, I may have given you six stars.

I love this bar! Convenient location. Attentive staff. Reasonably priced strong drinks. Friendly folks. Amazing pizza. And karaōke nights are very entertaining! If your looking for a modern hopping bar this isn’t your place. If you’re looking for a bar where everyone knows you’re name, check this place out.

Dive bar in a divey strip mall hidden behind a 7 – 11 and next to a laundromat. The inside is actually very inviting in a very dark, alcoholic kind of way. In fact I would not mind coming here with my coworkers after work. But the lunch «buffet» is a joke. Sure the waitresses are cute, young and awkward. But the «buffett» consists of bland chicken fried steak, bland mash potatos from a box and bland greasy pizza. There’s a chinese food place next door that has a true «buffett» that has marginally better variety.

Kinda a dive bar. In a good way.
A divey, strip center atmosphere, but looks can be deceiving. inside, lots of TVs and some arcade style games in the corner. A young, inviting wait staff. Don’t expect foo-foo or high-end drinks, but the bartenders are efficient and give a heavy pour. Decent pizza and wings. Everything about BA screams «I like this neighborhood joint.»
In the Centreporte area the selections are few, but Big Apple is a welcome respite, one that I’ll definitely return to.

Get rid of permitting patrons to smoke in the restaurant. I walked in and my throat started hurting, my eyes started watering and all I could do was smell smoke. I got a beer but couldn’t enjoy it due to smoke. Do you know how many people would be here if the place didn’t smell so damn bad?

Cristi bar tender was prompt and friendly. Oh and pretty darn good looking! Had to try blackened chicken Alfredo pizza. Outstanding. smoking is allowed. So if you don’t smoke or don’t like smelling like smoke when you leave, I’d sit at table not bar.
This is great hang out after work place. Pizza Is great! If you want to go somewhere small, more personal, great food, and good service. I’d try here.

We went here on a whim today. I’m glad we did. This pizza was SO good. The cheese was sooooo delicious. I ordered pepperoni/jalapeño pizza and it was perfect. The service was good too. The ambience was pretty cool. The whole place is very 70’s with wood paneling. They even played some fun old school music. Also, our waitress looked like Megan Fox, which was awesome for the single guy at our table. Haha

I don’t work too far from here and after a long workday I stopped in to grab a drink and food with a friend. We ordered a blackened chicken alfredo pizza man was this thing good and satisfying. I hadn’t had much luck with good pizza in this area but I’m glad I found them

Its just bar food. Don’t expect anything more. Our waitress was nice but she was pretty busy. I think there we’re only two and they took care of the bar during lunch. Granted they offer buffet so not much service is needed. Tried the chicken fried steak… It was okay. It was covered in gravy so there’s not much else taste other then the gravy.

Hubby and I met a couple of friends here on Tuesday night. They have newer furniture and have redesigned since I was there last, about 10 years ago.
Didn’t seem very smokey and everyone was nice. Great service and every waitress that walked by checked on us. We ordered fried pickles which were great… think Razoos. Chips and queso good but the chips tasted like they were fried in old oil.
Greek salad was great and their blue cheese dressing tastes homemade. Side salad with exceptionally good garlic croutons was plenty big.
We ordered an extra large pizza to go, with xtra xtra cheese and xtra sauce. Didn’t seem like there was much cheese or sauce, but it was passable. Good enough that we will try one to eat there, maybe with other toppings, for a second chance.
Good place to go if you’re in the area and need drinks and quasi-substantial food. Kitchen stays open till. 1:00am, so that is a nice feature.
We will be back!

The sign does not do this place justice, and on the inside they look like any regular old smokey bar with dim lights and plummer’s cracks a plenty, but the pizza is a welcomed surprise.
I worked over near this place for two years before I knew it was there. I co worker of mine brought in this gorgeous pizza and let me taste. I was hooked and shocked that I didn’t know about it. Every one I turn onto this place becomes a fan. I have only had their pizza but It is one of the best I have ever had. I get their chicken pizza, which seems to be the same chicken they serve with their pasta dishes. It does not taste like some pre cut bagged frozen chicken that you’d find on a dominos pizza. It very well may be, but it does not taste like it. There Italian sausage and pepporoni toppings are above average as well. This is what keeps me from committing to vegetarianism.
