I have been seeing Dr. Zimmerman since I moved to Fort Worth almost a year ago. Each time she has been compassionate and pleasant, but most importantly she is very thorough. She makes sure I understand what she is doing and why — which is important to me. The staff are ALL very friendly, helpful and also knowledgeable. I have found my new optometrist home.

I have gone here for 3 years. I liked dr. Ditto and I really like Dr. Zimmerman. She is very pleasant and went into depth at a problem I might be beginning to have. I always buy one pair of glasses there(they are a bit expensive but my insurance does a good job) and they are so helpful about picking which ones look good on me. They also always have some very cool frames. I then get my prescription and buy a cheaper pain on line for backup. It is right by the house and I don’t think I will really go anywhere else.

My wife and I are very happy with the care we have received from Dr. Zimmerman and her staff. We were patients of Dr. Ditto and wondered about what a change of ownership might bring. Dr. Z impressed me as knowledgeable, caring and possessing a very pleasant demeanor. We have had two annual appointments so far, with a third planned. Being able to see is about my favorite thing and the care my eyes receive is important to me.

I went here in January and just got around to writing a review. I went in for an optometrist visit and was pleased with Dr. Zimmerman who was very kind, knowledgable, and provided a fast and efficient eye exam. Unfortunately, the mediocre service occurred after the optometry visit. As soon as I asked for a print out of my prescription and told them I was interested in shopping around for frames before deciding on a pair there, the front desk clerk was very curt with me. As soon as I left, I realized that no one had measured my PD distance and had to go back to get that done. I eventually came back to look at some frames, and the staff seemed aloof at best. It was only after I asked some questions that I actually received assistance and I felt like I was intruding upon their conversation. This is in stark contrast to other establishments where most of the staff is almost overbearing in their suggestions and follow you around the store. I guess I just want a happy medium haha. As for their selection– I would say a majority of the frames are extremely overpriced and expensive and I eventually settled on some frames for a much lower cost at another establishment. I hope in the future Eyes on Camp Bowie works on their customer service and mannerisms towards patrons!
