Baker St. Pub & Grill

This is my go to place on camp bowie because of the location and atmosphere. Have had a handful of wonderful servers very nice and attentive on the other hand there have been some not so great ones as well. Usually sit on the big patio beers are cheap fish n chips are awesome, as well as the wings fireball glazed! I always come back. Go to place for convenience and beer prices.

This place is hit or miss. Hamburgers seem to be the best on the menu. Service is a crap shoot. I’m suspicious that they short pour drinks. Drinks at Oscar’s are much better. They have good bands on the weekend. Just hope you get a good server.

If you look for a little bit of London in the middle of Texas, this place will probably get you there! Very ‘decent’ shepherd’s pie, impressive London interior design, good happy hour deals. My only complaint is the customer service. It seems like the waiters didn’t have the best attitude. If it wasn’t for that, I would rate 4 stars.

I’ve been coming to this place since it opened. I remember when it first opened the managers the staff the cooks they all really cared about what was going on here but now this place is a toilet! I am completely done with this bar the food is absolutely disgusting. I just walked out of there Friday night I spent $ 21 on a chicken sandwich fries and a Coke! It was not even fully cooked I feel like I was completely ripped off and the minute that I went and told the manager he said oh don’t talk to me I just got off duty!
Everyone please beware stay away from this establishment I’m completely done!

This is the best place in town to meet friends, listen to great bands, enjoy Happy Hour & challenging TRIVIA!!! The staff are all wonderful & you cannot beat the food for quick bites or a meal. I would recommend this spot to anyone! The patio is the best in Ft. Worth & they really cater to their customers! Keep it up Baker’s! You are a gem!!!

Went here for a sunday lunch; our first visit. The food was good. The baked potato soup was good but nothing special. I also had the ruben sandwich, which was good, but a little light on the corned beef. The place seemed understaffed, which impacted the service. Drinks were super cheap for a sunday happy hour.
After seeing the fish and chips that a nearby table ordered, I would return just to try them.

Slow service. Fried food all tasted the same. Spinach artichoke dip tasted more like queso. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Great wait staff, OK food… but the live entertainment was awful! FIRSTLY AND YES IN ALL CAPS… WHAT MENTALLY DEFICIENT GIANT DOES NOT STOCK COCA COLA FOR JACK AND COKE OR RUM AND COKE? YOU CAN NOT, AND I REPEAT… C A N N O T, SERVE A PROPER JACK AND COKE OR RUM AND COKE WITHOUT COCA COLA. IN ABSOLUTELY NO UNIVERSE IN THE GALAXY DOES THE WORDS JACK AND PEPSI EVER GO TOGETHER! THAT IS THE MOST DISGUSTING, PUTRID, VILE COMPOUND EVER CONCEIVED! I WILL NOT BE BACK MAINLY BECAUSE OF THIS! MY NIGHT PERSONALLY STARTED GOING DOWN HILL FROM HERE… AT LEAST THEY HAD MY FAVORITE BEER. MY DATE WAS NOT HAPPY SHE COULD NOT GET A RUM AND COKE, BECAUSE THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE COKE… NOT EVEN IN THE GUNS!!! WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THIS!!! BAR + WHISKEY/​RUM + COKE = A MIXED DRINK, NOT PEPSI AND WHISKEY/​RUM!!!
Food was ‘OK’ at best, BUT stay away from the Shrimp and Salmon Ceviche, not that good. There was only 4 or 5 little prawn and I think 2 pieces of salmon, then a ton of poorly prepared carrot, red onion and cilantro. It was like they just lazily used a peeler and whipped off a pile of garnish. Then they had a crap ton of the ‘sauce’ that drowned out any real flavor. I am suspect that it was from the bottom of the package, you know the left overs. It looks nothing like the delicious picture, but probably tasted about as good as the page. The Loaded Nachos were so/​so. The peppers were not fresh or good; very bland actually and absolutely NO HEAT. I was going to do the fish, but based on the Ceviche and Nachos, not a chance I wanted to take. I don’t do greasy fish… Oh the long ago days when even Long John Silvers had PREMIUM COD and it was flash friend, and non-​greasy… no one takes pride in the art of cooking or their work any more.
The so called singers were so bad and so incapable of holding a note it was killing the mood. We WERE READY TO LEAVE BECAUSE OF HEADACHES WE SUFFERING DUE TO THE AGONIZING PAINFUL SCREAMING OF THESE CATS I mean seriously… These screaming rabid cats were destroying every song they sung! They had the audio up almost twice the music volume. They should be complimenting the music not drowning it out with torturing screams of cats in anguish.

I just spoke to several of our party that left earlier than planned, it was because the ‘singers’ were so loud and atrocious! It literally gave them headaches and one guy still has a migraine from hearing that woman who was ‘trying ’ piss poorly to sound I think like Christina Aguilera. SO basically these ‘singers’ ruined a great night out with friends!
I did ask the Waitress to see if she could have the manager put the ‘poor screaming cats out of their misery, because they sounded as if they were being tortured’. To their credit, the Manager did kill the outside speakers, but for the love of all things holy, we could still hear them.

This is a place where I could find myself everyday. It is no wonder the same patrons go in, every day without fail, some of them, twice a day. The clientele ranges from «Rich, old money», to the «Poorest of poor», coming in looking like death warmed over, walking in a rigamortis state, because of their job, hence me! Yet every one says hi, and treats you like a patron should be treated. Thank you for your outstanding customer service! The way you treat your patrons is proven by the way your regular customers treat new customers. The food is most excellent, and is brought to you in a timely manner no matter how particular your order may be. If Baker Street was closer to my house, I would probably live their.

Great Prices, good Fried Food and Pub Fare, Free Pool and Darts during happy hour. My grandma loves this place because of the senior discount. The only reason for four stars is because it is very smoky. If you are a smoker go ahead and consider this a five star review.

Wait staff here does not care anymore and you can see how dirty it is… ordered an Real Ale Fireman 4, which tasted old… it’s a shame the place has gone down hill

A burger is not worth this ashma attack! Why does a restaurant still allow smoking inside but refuse to wait on you when you sit in the patio! Big Fail!

Ok. First things first. This is a bar that happens to serve food. It is not by any means a restaurant that serves drinks. This is an important distinction. You can smoke here, indoors, if you do desire. Smoking is at the bar only until 2 pm and then all over after that. The kitchen is open late and there is love music most nights.
The happy hour prices are some of the best in town, the staff is very friendly for the most part, and they nail the «English pub» feel pretty well.
Now, the best part… The food. This place blows me away with the scope of their menu and the fact that just about everything is good. I love a good reuben sandwich, and theirs is wonderful. The fish and chips are amazing, and the hamburger I had the other day is easily to of my list.
For the lighter side, the hummus and veggies plate is outstanding, and their salads make me smile.
This is a great place to lounge with friends, have a few drinks, and eat some good food… All while listening to passable bands, playing actual trivia on Wednesday nights, or just chilling on the huge patio.

This is a decent place to grab a drink, especially if it’s walking distance from where you live like it was for me my first two years of medical school! They have a chill patio that’s fun to hang out on during the warm months and they have a lot of space on the inside to hang, but it can get loud and rowdy when there is a live band. They also allow smoking, so I would prefer not to hang out inside because of the smell.
I’d also like to add that this place attracts an older crowd, which can make for interesting people watching when people get fresh on the dance floor. They also have pool tables and darts for people who like to play games and drink. The prices here are decent during happy hour, but aside than that, can be a bit pricey depending on what you want to order. Check this place out for a chill place to hang!

This is not just a cheap little olé pub, but they have some if the nicest fish and chips I’ve enjoyed in this country. I lived in England for four years and enjoyed fish and chips at least once a week every week during that time I love this place my husband says that their drinks are nice and we enjoy their outside dinning. It’s worth a look see if you are in the area and if your not in the area it’s worth the drive I would take kids I saw some with their families inside but it’s just nice to enjoy the time without the kids, lol

The atmosphere is great. It’s a neat English pub off of Camp Bowie. There’s a nice selection of beer and they’ve recently updated their menus to include new drink and shot options.
My issue with this place has been the service. The past couple of times my wife and I have sat on the patio, the service has been non-​existence. In fact last night we sat there for over 2 hours and not once did a waiter come up to us. The busser was great and kept our table clean, but you’d expect one person to stop by and ask us what we wanted to drink. It didn’t happen. We were left to walk inside to the bar and get each of our 3 rounds. I understand there were bigger tables, but a little attention would have been nice.
We’ve eaten here a couple of times. Good pub food but nothing that’s going to blow your mind. If you’re looking for a place to hang out on a date and don’t mind getting your own drinks, this is a good place. Or it seems like groups would get great service.

I does like me some Baker st. Not inside, way too smokey, but the patio on a nice eve is pretty sweet. We went at HH and enjoyed $ 2.50 wells.
The menu appetizers are not so much for me, but I did not come here to eat. Me and my smokin hot babe had 2 drinks each, $ 10 tab, can you beat that? Forget about it…
Great place to chill, relax, enjoy a bev, do a little people watching and nice conversation.

I really like Baker Street, one of the few places I’ll go that’s smokey. Lately we’ve been sitting on the patio to avoid the smoke. If they have a live music you’ll definitely hear it on the patio just fine. Speaking of live music, every time they’ve had a band they’ve been awesome! I’ve only heard cover bands, but they’ve all played great songs and keep the energy up. As for food, it’s great for bar food, but I’ve also had a grilled chicken breast that was pretty decent. I mean if you’re going there, you might as well get the good stuff right? MMm grease.
Side note: My crew and I always hit that up Baker Street for New Years Eve (we bar hop, but always do «12am» at Baker). They’ve had a champagne toast at midnight every year we’ve gone.
