I just went here for the bar so far so this will be continue later. The white gummy bear was so delicious and I took a fireball shot. They had a happy hour going on so all my shots together were around $ 11, great deal. It was very clean and my bartender was very friendly and shared stories about her experience with certain drinks as well. I really enjoyed being there and what a great bartender!

You get what you see here and that’s what I like about it. No, the food is not amazing but the beer prices are cheap and there are giant tvs everywhere if you’re tryna watch sports. Kinda has the Hooter feel with the waitresses which can feel scummy. Oh and the wings are actually legit. Patio is tight as well.

I never have a bad time at this place. The drink specials make everything A okay in my book. They serve the normal Amerian food fare with a few added bonuses. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are good. It’s a great place to relax after a long day at work.

Sometimes I come here to kill some time if I drive in too early before a TCU football game. The location is very convenient but the service leaves a lot to be desired sometimes. I usually can determine how my experience will be within seconds of walking into this location. I am a huge fan of Boomerjacks and the fact that for a sports atmosphere they have a good amount of gluten free options on the menu. I think they have very reasonable drink prices and most bartenders I encounter at any Boomerjacks will make you a pretty stiff drink. I have been several times to this location when there is hardly anyone in the dining area and the service is great! Sometimes the staff seems a bit inexperience and there seems to be quite a lot of new faces working there every time I come. However, if I every enter this particular Boomerjacks and there is more than 10 – 15 people in the dining room than I know the service is going to be lackluster. Usually on Saturday’s they have a good amount of staff running around but if more than 4 or 5 tables are occupied it seems that these employees just disappear for a little bit and then all come back at the same time 5 – 10 minutes later. I will continue to come here for pre-gaming festivites but I wish they would do a better job of training the staff especially on Saturday’s when the TCU rush hits.

The service hear is pretty bad. The wings here are pretty good! The wings are really small.(relative) The drink specials are really good! It can be hard to find parking for Boomer’s in Montgomery Plaza. But after Boomerjack’s happy hour, it doesn’t matter where you parked. You’ll forget!!! But are you implying that you drive drunk? No son. I’m implying I sleep on the lawn next to the residential parking!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE … This place is cool.

Cold beers lotsa TVs and good food. Had my first bleu cheese burger here n loved it. Kitchen usually on point for above average bar food offerings But Waitstaff is hit or miss — almost never even attempt to be glad you are there and waiting might be a problem for shy folks. Good cocktails nothing exciting — but a burger u can be happy with for sure’

I have been here before a few times and it isn’t ever bad or great. The location is nice, parking sometimes sucks, other times it’s good, the patio is nice, the interior is good enough, the service is pretty good, and the food is standard bar food with some special items that make it sorta stand out. On this trip we ordered some chips and queso that I had to return because the chips were kind of hard. The second round wasn’t that much of an improvement unfortunately. The fajita chicken quesadilla was ok although the flour tortillas were a little burned and charred. Overall this place isn’t bad for what it is, a grill and bar(apparently that’s the order and not«bar and grill»). If you want a beer and some food it’s good enough. It’s not like the hole in the wall bar with«character» and the questionable jar of deviled eggs. Cheers!

This is the first time I’ve ever experienced the worst service EVER!!! The waitress was a bit busy, so, I was trying to be patient and understanding especially since I used to wait on tables myself. After we were sitting down at the table already for over 5 minutes, she finally comes to take our drink order. 10 minutes later I get my water and my alcoholic beverage, my son’s sprite, and my husband’s beer. She never once asked if we were ordering food so never brought menus. Another 10 minutes goes by I see her walk by after checking on tables and I asked for menus so we could order food. I noticed a table came in a little bit after we were there and they ordered food AFTER we did. but for some reason they got their food first by the time we got ours the cheese sticks were cold. wasn’t even cheesy and melted. I always get hot wings and fried mushrooms yet they were not even hot.. didn’t even put a sting on my tongue from the temperature! ! Again, I was trying to be patient and polite. So at the end of our visit I asked for our ticket, when I looked at the tab it was very inexpensive, I figured oh wow she’s giving me a hook up cuz she knew I was upset by giving me such bad service. My son and i chose to leave cuz from being so tired and my husband decided to stay with two friends that walked in. Then she went to charge my husband for my son’s meal and other drinks. I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous! what if my husband didn’t decide to stay??? then what would she have done!!! I won’t stop going back but I will definitely make sure she never serves my table again

Not the first Boomer Jacks I’ve been too but it’s a new building in a nice location. Food is good beer is cheap great customer service. The staff is very friendly. The management made me a little uncomfortable. They keep checking our table cause we were a bit loud enough where they informed the officers eating there to watch us. If it wasn’t for the awesome customer service of our waitress I would have gave one star.

I found myself at BoomerJack’s to help my friend use one of his awesome bogo coupons. I got the small order of the Monte Cristo sandwich — I sure am glad the waitress brought the small order to my attention because that thing was REALLY filling! Being a deep fried sandwich, I expected it to be a bit on the greasy side but this one tasted like it was chillaxin in the fryer for a wee bit too long. It was quite crispy, though, which I definitely enjoyed. The fries were pretty good too — nice and crispy on the outside/soft on the inside just like I like them. Even with a coupon, I’m not sure if I would come back — this fare is a bit too heavy for me but definitely try it out for yourself!

No soap in men’s restroom. Cooks cleanliness, hum. Told manager, he said machine may not work, never heard back. Wrong order deliveried. Chicken fried steak poor. Food quality has declined. Really liked Boomer before last night.

The service was nice. I didn’t see any free fried pickles or jalepenos during happy hour like some of the tips on here said. The menu got a bit more expensive and the wings got smaller. Really the only thing here that has tasted good is the pretzel turkey melt but even then it is losing it’s consistency. But pricing increased. Location in this area is nice. It’s under some nice condos and we walked over to bahama bucks for dessert. For a wings special day, it was not busy at all when we got here around 6.

Happy hour prices are great! $ 2.50 you call it’s! The drinks are tasty. The wings and apps are delicious and very decent price. It is a fun place to go watch the game. The bar is neat with one side being inside the other sides outside. The place is in a hot spot being in 7th street. The location is a good place to grab a bite and be around some fun people!

I have to agree w the Unilocaler who said that Boomer’s give-a-crap is busted. I’ve been here a handful of times. One thing about it, it’s consistent. Consistently disappointing. Once, a waitress dropped a small bowl of ranch dressing that hit ground and flung up all over me. It was in my hair, on my face, and on my shirt. She seemed genuinely apologetic, and I am a former waitress, so I wasn’t mad or confrontational. However, I would have expected management to come over and say SOMETHING! Nothing. I had to sit there with a wet bar towel and try to clean myself up with all the others patrons looking at me with sympathetic smiles and head shakes. No free drink, no apology, no offer of a t-shirt so I could go on with my evening without smelling like buttermilk. Nothing. During my most recent experience, we sat on the patio to have a couple of beers and share some apps. It was a balmy 95 deg at 2pm. We opened the provided umbrella to get some relief from the hot TX sun. Waitress: Welcome to Boomer Jack’s. I’m gonna need you to go ahead and close the umbrella. When it’s windy out, the wind breaks the poles. *Note– It was far from windy. Breezy, at best. Me: So we have to sit here in the sun? Waitress: Yeah. Again, no apology or offer to move us inside. Just the demand that the umbrella be lowered. We said ok and gave her our drink order. She then stood there staring at us til we completely lowered the umbrella. In that same trip, a waitress drops a full glass of ice water on a nearby table. The water splashes on me. When I look over to see what’s going on, said waitress replies, «It’s just water.» Again, no apology or manager visit. The food is ok. It’s bar food. Certainly nothing special, but decent. In my opinion, this location needs new management. I’ve worked in bars and restaurants since I was 16 yrs old. I have never seen/experienced such a lack of concern for the customer’s satisfaction.

So they let you bring your dog on the patio! That’s good for 3 stars right away. All else pretty mundane. Good place for you to meet your friends to watch a sporting event on TV. Must be 20+ screens in the place! Sounded like they had a beer special or two every night. Mine was $ 2.95 Sam Adams Boston Lager pint. Not bad, not a GREAT deal. The rest of the beer list(I asked for drink menu, never brought) was pedantic. Sounded like a trip back 30 years before all the craft/microbreweries. Menu is strictly bar oriented, nacho’s, burgers, a few salads and sandwiches, nothing special. I ordered a half order of the brisket nacho’s. Plenty of food for one, would have made a great sharing portion also. Very hard to eat, mounded up on a small plate, so as soon as you tried to pull a chip out, the whole thing collapsed on the table, your lap, the floor. Ugh. Service was very slow at first. At least 10 minutes of sitting and waving my hands around before server stopped over. To her credit, she did apologize for the wait, and took good care of me from then on. For those that don’t like smoking, be wary, everyone comes out on the patio to smoke. Doesn’t bother me, but I know some people can’t stand it. Bottom line, if your young, want to drink lots of beer with your friends, make noise, and watch TV, BoomerJacks a good alternative to your living room. Food and beer selection just ok, but then you are not having to make it and your friends are not spilling beer on your floor!

I have a love affair with Boomerjacks. Though it is not my favorite place to watch football, it keeps me satisfied enough to keep coming back. $ 3 Jack Daniels and Jack Daniels Honey always stays in my mind when thinking of where to go on Sunday. The food and service is good, the patio is nice, and there are a lot of TVs in every angle for your viewing pleasure. Other than Sundays, there are always on-going drink specials and wings are $.50 on Tuesdays! They serve food until 12am. Sometimes parking can be a hassle as well.
