Great prices, absolute worst in Customer service. If you think you’re getting out of there quick, think again. The last time I was in there, 12 people with loaded baskets, and only one cashier. And that’s not just a once in a while happening. It’s become the last resort if I’m anywhere near to being in a hurry.

I like the quality of stuff. Good prices. Employees. … that’s another story. Some have attitudes. But I usually ignore it. Tonight … the cashier threw our stuff into the cart after swiping it. One item hit the basket, damaging it and she saw what she did but continued. When it was time to pay she told my husband«come on dude» with an attitude as he swiped his card to pay. That is not professional! Those managers need to check their employees!

My parents took us to this store in the Mid West back in my childhood. I am happy to see they have finally arrived locally. The concept is of European descent. The brands are not local or recognizable but the prices are welcoming, especially these days. This is not a one stop shop like a Wal Mart or Target. The must haves like milk, eggs, cheese and bread are way cheaper than Wal Marts’ Brand. There are weeks that Wal Mart lowers there milk and other select items to compete. And without the long lines! You have to pay a quarter for the cart and any bags you need. You can buy a Eco friendly bag(small or large). Gives you a reason to break out the old Wal Mart bags that are under the sink. Which you can take to use there as well.

The selection isn’t as huge as many other grocery stores around but you can definitely find some great deals. You have to go in and experience this place to see for yourself. Many staple items can be purchased for almost half the priced you’d expect. Remember to bring a quarter so you can put in a deposit for your shopping cart.

This chain of stores was suppose to be competative with Walmart and as for as I have experienced, Walmart has no worries in the least bit. I am totally not impressed with this low-budget unknown names item warehouse…

Is this going to be a one stop shopping experience? No. Are there some good products worth coming for? Yes. Self-Rising Pepperoni Pizza — just as good as brand name. Dark Chocolate Chunk Gelato — super yummy. Bakery Cinamon Rolls — very tasty. Garlic Bread — good. Fruits and Vegetables — fresh and quality. Ground Beef — same as at big grocery stores. Milk — disappointed they didn’t stock 1% milk. Having to briefly let go of a quarter — who cares? Having to bring you own bags — get with the program, most people have reusable bags now anyways. Quick moving lines — sweet! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of Aldi’s products.
