Herbal Infusion

I made an apt for a colonic a week in advance for a 8am apt which must be paid for at the time making apt. As I was walking out my door to go for my colonic, I received a text that stated, «I am running 30 min late for your apt», no Good morning, no name, but that was fine with me. When I arrived I was met with a stone cold face woman who actually is the owner. I spoke and she barely moved her lips, I said to myself, oh boy I hope she is not the one who is going to be working on me. As she is looking past me, no eye contact, she hands me a clip board with a medical list longer than the one I have seen at Washington Hospital Center, and say fill this out, then she walks away. This list had every ailment under the sun on that paper which makes it almost impossible for any one my age not to have encounter. After checking one of the boxes and signing the dotted line to alleviate Herbal Infusion from any risk, I handed the form to her. She took the form, took one look, and laid it down on the counter and said I can not perform a colonic on you without a doctors note because if you check anything on that list that disqualified you from having one. This would not had been a problem if they let you know before they take your money and make the apt, when I asked her why they don’t have some kind of blurb to let the customers know, she just coldly said, I can not. She was so cold and impersonal that I am glad she was not the one giving me a colonic because frankly I do not believe that she wanted to do it and could care less about losing my business. So, if you are looking for a warm, holistic environment you will find the building itself is warmer than the owner cold, harsh, awful disposition. A typical business that the owners think they are doing you a favor by letting you walk into their door and I can not imagine any one having a favorable experience with the owner because her nasty snobby attitude seem to be ingrained in her whole being.

Great store. It has most of the herbal supplements that I use. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I’ve had A LOT of massages in my life, but Maryland at Herbal Infusion is hands down the best!!! She is both professional and thorough. She «listens to the body» of the one she’s massaging! She’s also personable and friendly. If you live in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area or ever plan on visiting, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a great massage and the wonderful staff at Herbal Infusion!

I found this spot on Spa Week’s website. They were offering $ 50 deals for the MONTH of October for their Herbal Body Wrap, 50 minute massage, and Colon Therapy Treatment. I had received an colon therapy treatment from a different company «New Creation» before and told myself I would NEVER do it again but I’m glad I changed my mind and decided to give it another shot. I walked in and there was no wait for my service. I filled out my paperwork and went straight back to the room. The lady was very nice and listened to my needs and concerns. I explained how horrible my last session was at the other place and she asked if the machine looked similar to the machine she had in her office. I told her no, and she began explaining the difference between the two machines and why I had such a bad experience at New Creation. She provided me with Honey Ginger capsules prior to treatment which I thought was a nice touch. She had a really good bedside manner and respected my solitude. The experience itselfwas not painful at all! Right before the treatment was finished, she explained what was happening inside my body and recommended some ways to improve my digestive health. She did not push more treatment like the last lady at New Creation, or items from her herbal store (like I was expecting). I was willing to buy whatever helped but she said she only wanted me to address my needs. I thought that was very honest of her. I highly recommed her services. From the time I walked in to the time I left, I was satisfied.

This is a holistic shop. Very reasonably priced all natural herbs, vitamins, skin and hair care, juices, etc. They also do body treatments: wraps, colonics, massages, etc. Always pleasant service, can’t go wrong when you trust the products.

I recently had a Colonic at Herbal Infusion through a Groupon Deal. I wasn’t quite sure what it was but I had read that it was good to have done every once in awhile. The Groupon made the deal half off of what would have otherwise seemed to be an expensive service. The woman that was «officiating» over my service was extremely polite and made it a comfortable experience. She was also very professional and answered what probably seemed like crazy questions. Great service (hehehe) and a great experience. I’ll definitely get another Colonic and try the body wrap should they ever go on Groupon again.
