I really want to give a better review because the food was good. I had the spring rolls and pork Thai pai, but the service is lackluster… girl never came back to check on me for drink or if I needed anything else… walked by several times.

I got takeout on my way home based on other reviews. As always with Thai, I ordered 2 different dishes, figuring one may be awful or too spicy to eat. I got American medium shrimp Pad Thai, yes it’s orange, and it was incredible. I don’t care what color it is when it’s that tasty. There was a bit of a kick, but I’ll order hot next time because I like fairly spicy food. The 2nd dish was American hot green coconut curry. It was good, but a bit too hot and not as flavorful as the Pad Thai. The service wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was a holiday weekend and they were very busy. I’ve had a really hard time finding Thai food that I like. It’s not necessarily the restaurants or dishes, but the combination that eludes me. I either get a bad dish or a bad restaurant, sometimes both. I’m hooked and can’t believe I’ve lived this close for several years and never been there.

Go to the Thai Hut Garden instead. The food is so much better. They add tofu without the extra cost. Plus the parking is so much better. You don’t have to worry about getting your car towed while you eat. There are a lot of Thai restaurants in FWB. Chose wisely.

Amazing Thai food, they say it’s vegetarian as in you can request no oyster oil, fish oil ETC.

My husband has liked this place in the past but I have yet to be impressed. The meat is so-so and kind of rubbery = not-so-fresh tasting. Last time we went it was SOO spicy it was nearly intolerable. Even the mild and medium. Too freaking hot, and I like spicy, but the chiles made it unenjoyable! Oh and a day later I was puking my guts out, so I’m pretty sure I got some form of food poisoning from this place on top of the unreasonable spice. Ugh

It’s been our favorite for years and years. Consistently fresh and expertly prepared TASTY, TASTY food. We drive 25 miles one way to eat here at least twice a month. NEVER disappointed. You won’t be disappointed either!

My wife and I kicked off dinner with the fried wontons app — p good, but nothing too special. We enjoyed our panang and red curry dishes which, as others have warned, are very spicy. Nice flavors and good cuts of meat with fresh veggies. Service was friendly and attentive in a tight but homey setting. Read the previous reviews and found a couple of them funny, particularly the one where the reviewer took shots at other reviewers for liking this place after having been to thai all over the country and yet orange colored(even very orange colored) pad thai was a conplete mystery. She either is making that up or is not very observant. It would be easy to squash her claim, but I’m guessing most people know how to use google

So good… Cool little house off the beaten path. It’s the real deal. Fried wontons were awesome! Pad Thai excellent. Coconut Curry so good too. Be careful! Hot hot hot… Mild is spicy!

The best THAI I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants around Fort Walton and Destin and nobody comes close. Quant setting in a tiny house, but the food is outstanding every time.

I’ve lived here forever and this is my favorite Thai Restaurant in town. The employees are the sweetest ever. My favorite waitress is «Pinky»! She knows me by my first name, I go there too much! When they close for 30 days during winter holidays, it breaks my heart because I have to eat Thai abroad. I’ve tried«every» single other Thai restaurant around and this«beef salad» is incomparable. I order it Thai Style, Thai hot and its spicy but not so much you can’t taste your food. I add extra sauce and extra spice! It’s in a little house on an off beaten path side road, in front of fire station(landmark). The fried rice is good too. View my photo– it cannot lie… Nom Nom Nom !!!

Absolutely delicious! This place is small but their food is amazing! Authentic Thai food. It’s run by a family who has converted a house into a restaurant. We ordered beef curry, chicken curry, and a chicken fried rice. The smell of the spices was amazing. And it’s not greasy which is a big plus. Our waitress was very sweet. We couldn’t stop talking about the food. Definitely will come back here again.

First off I came here because of all the great reviews so needlessly to say I was quite disappointed afterwards. I’ve been living in the fort Walton area for a year now and have eaten at about 80% of the local thai places. This was by far one of the worst Thai places I have eaten at. I got the pad thai and it was orange like someone had dumped a gallon of food dye on it. It didn’t have much flavor either. My husband ordered the Singapore noodles and that tasted terrible as well. We both had a minor stomachache later on that evening. We were surprised to see people coming in to get take out. Pad Thai is NOT supposed to be orange! If you want good Thai food head to Benjarong off 98. If you want a good lunch buffet go to Lotus Thai on Mary Esther or Daddys BBQ on 98. If you’re working at Hurlburt field then Thai Chef is out the back gate. All the people who rated this place as the best Thai food clearly have never had good Thai food. That or they just lack the palate for any good food in general. I’ve lived in CA, DC, NY and TX and I haven’t been to a Thai place as bad as this one. Seriously, out of all the Thai places in the area go to a different one. Any other place is better than this one. Heck, I’ll even take you to a better Thai place. I will however give the waitress 5 stars because she was friendly and very attentive.

This is a hidden gem in Ft. Walton Beach. It is not on any main road, nor on a high traffic side road. It is almost in a neighborhood. Great food, witg very attentive service! This IS the go to spot for Thai cuisine. I have had the privilege of doing some repair work for these guys. They keep this kitchen VERY clean and sanitary. This is unfortunately a rarity in the food service industry. They definitely give you authentic Thai food as well. Nothing negative to say here, try it for yourself.

Here is the menu. A local take out favorite and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Flavors are always consistent. The spices are brought in fresh from Thailand. Even though I’ve moved away I am still addicted to the #1 appetizer… spicy!

I had the Mild combination Pad Thai and it was delicious. I don’t usually get spicy food and I had asked for mild thinking it wouldn’t be too spicy. It was more spicy than I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it Chicken fried rice was flavorful and would go good with just about anything or as a meal all on its own. The place is a small house and it can get a little cramped. I wouldn’t recommend a large group of people, maximum of four should be fine. Service was good and I plan on returning sometime in the near future.

Good service and great food! The crispy wontons are fresh and so good we had to order twice. The spring rolls are good, a little greasy. The Thai rolls are fresh and full of flavor. Go for the pad Thai I normally order Thai hot but went for medium and that was good for me. I will definitely come back next time in Fort Walton.

Unilocal did not let me down when I was on vacation in the Fort Walton area, especially about this place. My spouse and I went for dinner and had a great dining experience. The food was delicious and extremely fresh/hot. While we are familiar with other names for some traditional Thai dishes, our waitress was very helpful and knew exactly what we wanted. We can recommend the veggie spring rolls, #44(pad see ew!!), mango sticky rice dessert, and lemongrass soup(a tom yum variety). Warning: Don’t be too quick to opt for«Thai Mild» or «Thai Hot» because you handle spicy food well. Their’s can make you cough and drink excessive amounts of water, especially the soups! This is a casual restaurant with limited place/parking, but give it a try. Their affordable food will not disappoint, and as others have suggested, order it to go or call ahead and enjoy it wherever.

Okay, this place may not be THEE best thai restaurant ever, but it comes pretty darn close to it.(Still 5 stars because I’m actually comparing from the ones in California) First of all, can we just stop and appreciate those ladies working there? They’re all so sweet and friendly, and tho some are still learning how to speak English fluently, those ladies are definitely working hard to give you the best customer service they can offer. SERIOUSLY. Be nice and you’ll see how quickly those ladies can capture your heart:) Food=Amazing. I keep coming back. We all have had thai food somewhere and every restaurant obviously have their own recipe. Someone had told me that Thai people love to «experiment» with different food and ingredients and it was just then when I started to appreciate that place(because the other Thai restaurants started to disappoint me with the taste”/) My favorites are CUCUMBERSALAD, CHICKENHOTBASIL(«Thai Hot», hotter than«American Hot»), DRUNKENNOODLE(Thai Hot) and their amazing Thai Tea. Btw, I never ate spicy food until Thai House introduced me to Thai Hot. No, it doesn’t mean it isn’t spicy. It seriously burns my mouth. BUT! IT’S JUSTTHATAMAZING. I’m like hooked. And I crave it like crazy. Oh and for those wondering, it’s closed on Sunday’s but open all the other days of the week, even on holidays. The only time they close is around December I believe. The girls mentioned that they close for that time until January or so to be with family. I could be wrong, but ask them anyway. But yes, this place gets packed quick, so parking could get frustrating. But then you can always call and order for pick up. Still really good in my opinion.

Great Thai food at a fair price. It was a little hard to find as it was actually located in a house on a side street which also made parking a challenge. Excellent spring rolls and Pad Thai.
