Great selection, service and prices. And the staff were very friendly as well informative.

I put a deposit down on laminate and scheduled an installation date. The man who came out to measure was polite and on time. The installer’s came and didn’t have the tool they needed to level out part of the floor and decided to come back. We discussed me getting a vapor barrier (this is a mobile home). When I called my salesman back to reschedule the installation for the next day, which I was told was open before, he said that it was booked, and also the next day. He also said that unless I had the barrier installed before the installation, my warranty would be voided. This was never discussed at the time of sale, and the installer’s didn’t even know that there wasn’t one in place until I told them! Seems that they make up the rules as they go? I called to cancel the order and was told I could not. When I said I received no product and there was nothing in the contract about cancellation, he said then he could cancel it, but there would be a 20% re-​stocking fee, because it was special order. Never was I told it was «special order». I asked if it was in stock when I was in the store and the answer was yes. Also nothing on the sales receipt stating it was special order. $ 376 for a restocking fee is ridiculous and I highly recommend shopping elsewhere unless you have money to burn.

Haven’t bought my carpet yet, but wanted to leave a review about my experience at the store while browsing for carpet. The associate was friendly, helpful, and honest.
I’m on a budget and she told me the honest truth about the quality of carpet I was looking for and helped me locate the best carpets for my price range and situation (ie. Having a home with pets).
We’re definitely getting our carpet here. Not to mention, checking in on Unilocal gets you free padding!

I am updating my critique of Brit’s Carpet. The installation was spot on and looks great. However, we had most of the furniture out of both bedrooms (king bed) thinking that with the proper amount of crew that the job would be done in a snap. The installer did get help, but, lost an hour while he went to get him. 5 hours for 2 mostly empty rooms is more than necessary.

Britt’s has a wide selection of remnants as well as their excellent range of large-​roll carpeting, so if you only have a small area to carpet (one room) and have a very generic color in mind, you can get a great deal on high-​quality carpet left over from some larger job. Their installers were very fast and professional. Overall a positive experience, and the carpet has totally stayed in place and been great for the last year and a half.
