The staff were very attentive, the décor very homey and inviting, and the food was phenomenal! Get the breakfast casserole. I don’t know how the chef cooked those eggs, but they were the fluffiest I’ve ever had. Every meal is great here!

Came here while visiting a friend and it was really good! I loved the atmosphere, food, and staff. On the inside, it looks like it would be pretty expensive but the prices actually weren’t that bad! There is a patio outside that was REALLY nice with cute lights and a fun atmosphere but it was raining so we sat inside. I love to eat outside so I was really disappointed when I saw how cute their patio was! I really enjoyed my sandwich and was filled up after eating it. I would come back, for sure!

I was excited to try this place. I had visited Indigo several times, which was a restaurant that formerly operated in the same location for several years before its closure. But the Ft. Mitchell Public House is nothing like Indigo. The menu has a more classic American theme, but with higher quality ingredients and presentation. I have had the fish tacos, soft pretzels, and veggie burger– all of which were delicious. Honestly, the fish tacos are the best I’ve had in the area, and the soft pretzels are right up there as well! The staff are friendly and professional. In terms of the environment, the interior renovations turned out excellent! The interior is rustic, yet modern; and the bar is smaller, yet attractive and well-equipped. There is also a great patio with ample seating and plenty of shaded areas. Overall, this place is a solid local establishment in NKY. Give it a try!

The chef is in love with Cajun seasoning to the point that is all you can taste. Menu is small and unimaginative. Service was below average. The building is well remodeled, the bar large and front patio inviting, but the food needs help.

New favorite local spot! This location is completely remodeled and looks incredible. Friendly staff, awesome food, and great draft beer and cocktail selection. Ft Mitchell has needed something like this for quite some time!

Not about the food… it’s fine. The service is legendary and not good. If you like to spend 90 minutes to eat lunch — this is your place. If you only want one beer when you sit at the bar while the staff eats dinner. This is your place. Really really want this to be great — it isn’t.

Been watching the incarnations of this place for the past few years. So my wife tried this place for lunch(late lunch) the atmosphere is nice. Quiet place not too crowded at 2 in the afternoon. They are going with a New Orleans vibe but not too Cajuny… I had the Jambalaya and my wife had a turkey burger. Being the true sweethearts we are, we shared bites both dishes were great. The turkey burger came with a really good remoulade mayo mix. My jambalaya was some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant, now I’m a bit of a wimp about spicey but this had a nice burn that didn’t overpower the other flavors. Get an extra piece of bread to cool down your tongue after it’s gone. We will definitely be back.

Had lunch here two months back and was impressed with the food. Came back on Mother’s Day for the brunch and was very disappointed! The food quality was not very good. Some items where cold and the selection was very limited. How you can charge $ 22 each for less than frischs quality food I’m not sure but no goetta makes it even worse… Won’t be back for brunch…

This is a much better pub experience than the Pub in Crestview Hills or The Cock & Bull in Covington. The service has been great every time I go in. The food has been consistent and good. The interior is all new. The patio is open. Thumbs up.

Stopped for lunch. The black blue burger was tasty and cooked just as ordered-medium. Good fries! Hard to find good crispy fries-seemed like real potatoes. The pecan cranberry chicken salad was a big disappointment. Way overpriced and missing the cranberries, for crying out loud. It was $ 12 and the amount of greens was about the size of a small side salad and then cut up chicken and pecans, etc. Lame. May try again when patio opens.

The draft beer is cold(this is very important), the Public House Mac n Cheese was very yummy, but the burger was meh! Requested it be cooked medium, but was served very well done, too bad, as we were looking forward to a good burger. It is EXTREMELYLOUD inside, was difficult to carry on a conversation. Will possibly stop back when they get the outside patio open for service. There are other menu items that have possibility. Oh, and yeah the beer was cold, right :)

Guess what Northern KY? As of Monday they are officially open and full service. We enjoyed the Cod sandwich and the ever popular Cajon cream pasta dish. The interior was very nice with a nice vibe. The restrooms are new and improved from the old Indigos days. We are happy to have this restaurant open again with the right menu, the right ownership and the right management! Patio will be open when weather permits. All is 5 star in my opinion!!! yay Open for dinner now as well with liquor license and nice bar selections.

Stopped in for brunch. Place looks great and has a nice vibe(gas fireplace, pub décor). No liquor license yet but they say they hope to get one soon. The brunch menu was pretty interesting, traditional but with some ‘Kentucky cuisine’ that made it unique. I had the ‘Goetta Hot Brown’ which was toast points, with Goetta, and Monterey sauce. The portion was very generous, and delicious. Well worth the $ 10. Service was quick, attentive, and very welcoming. All in all, I have high hopes for this place, and hope to return once they get their license and open for dinner.

This was sadly dissappointing. I so wanted to believe the reviews. I have anxiously awaited the opening and now I am here. The décor is nice. It’s warm and inviting. The owner is very nice as well as the staff. Unfortunately the food was a different story. I tried the French toast which was two pieces of Texas toast stuck together then deep fried. No flavor other than grease. Then comes the crab cake benedict. The English muffin was topped with a crab cake that is all cake and no crab flavor at all topped with a poached egg that is almost hard boiled, then topped with instant hollendaise. I had to have the waitress bring a new egg, but even that couldn’t save the plate. It was not good at all. I don’t know why you would open a restaurant and not actually make the food you serve. Sadly I was charged for this so I reluctantly paid my bill, but I will not be returning.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Been there twice and both times very good. I had the burger; it was so large, I took half of it home. Second time I had a bowl of chili and a side salad, excellent. I felt like I was walking into the old CHEER’s bar and felt immediately at home.

AMAZING!!! The food here is fantastic, the ham and Swiss melt with Dijon on a pretzel bun is perfection. The crab cake Benedict with hollandaise sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Home made chicken salad is almost as good as mine. Everything on the menu exhibits a fine attention to detail for a truly fabulous dining experience. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Haven’t obtained their liquor license yet and only open for lunch. We had a burger and their Cod Reuben which was very good. Looking forward to trying their Sunday brunch once they can do bloody Marys and mimosas.
