Nadia was my stylist. I booked an appointment with her because I read good reviews on here. She was super polite and gave me her honest opinion. I was going back to black from my blond hair. She barely cut any of my dead ends off even though I did ask for a very small amount to be cut (but as a stylist you should be able to manage to cut the dead ends). She cut my hair too straight too. I’m just really picky about my hair. Maybe it’s because I’m Korean and it seems to me only Korean hair stylists really know how to work with my hair and make it look nice. The hair dye was burning my scalp SO bad. I figured it was the dye working its way in my hair but I was so wrong. Even after I washed my hair, there were welts & rashes all over my scalp. She recommended me to wash my hair 5 days after. I couldn’t even last 3 days because my scalp was itching and burning so bad. On top of that, she charged me $ 150 – 200. That’s ridiculous for just a hair dye & color correction job. It’s the same amount as how much I paid to go blonde and that’s even a longer and more difficult process. I guess if you’re ASIAN, please do not come here. They don’t know how to work with our hair texture.

I found Hair Dynamics through Unilocal.I’m not from around here so I had to rely on fellow Unilocalers. When I called for an appointment they booked me with Nadia. When I arrived, they took me immediately. The girl shampooing my hair was very friendly and did a great job washing my hair thoroughly.
Nadia was friendly and has skills! She knows exactly what she’s doing. My hair looked great all day long and still does and I have received many compliments. Next time I am in town I will definitely be back here.

I was visiting A friend in this area and decided to get a haircut. I came across this place on Unilocal.And honesty I was a bit hesitant as I was not sure about non-​Asians cutting my hair. However they did an excellent job! I got my haircut by Debbi. All the workers were very friendly, Making small talk with you. I asked for a trim with some layers upfront and she did exactly what I wanted. In addition, the first haircut is 50% off. I found Debbie to be quite trustworthy and if I were be living in the area, I woula return for additional haircuts.

The first time I visited, I was just looking to find a cheaper salon for coloring my hair (I normally go to Korean salons, where color alone can be anywhere from $ 70-​$ 100). However, this is now my go-​to salon, so happy I stumbled upon it!
As soon as I walked in everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was lucky enough to get my hair colored by Nadia, who I now ask for everytime I make an appointment :) She convinced me to get a trim/​haircut since it was 50% off for my first time anyway, and I loved my haircut. I don’t know how to explain it but the way she layers my hair makes it look full and not as «flat» as it usually does. I’ve been back a few times now and I’ve been satisfied every time!
Even the stylists that are not working on me make a point to say hello, ask me if I need anything, and just the general vibe of the salon is very warm and friendly. So that makes me feel good about giving them my business! Overall I highly recommend them and will continue coming here.

Awesome cut by Nadia… With beautiful layers! I especially loved that she worked with what I had. The layers she created brought my hair back to life. Not only is she highly skilled in working with hair… her personable, sweet demeanor is the icing on the cake!

Everyone who works there is really nice and personable. I always have crazy style cuts and it’s hard to find someone who can cut women’s hair traditionally AS WELL as barber style buz cuts.
I make an appointment and they’re always on time, never any problems trying to get in and out of there when I have other things to get done.

Chill place! Nadia cut my hair however the only reason. I switched my hair stylist was because Brooklyn is so far since i moved to hackensack. Besides the point ask for Nadia for a cut! + first timers $ 27!!! Waa whatt!

Nadia was my stylist and she was awsome! I got a haircut and blow out for $ 27, mind you my hair is super long and thick! First time customers is 50%off. I am in love with the way she cut my hair. Layered it so nicely and my bangs came out perfect. These people here are very professional. Definitely comigg back here.

Pretty ify about going to new salons, but my experience at Hair Dynamics was great.
Came in for color and came out with both color and keratin treatment. Jason and everyone at the salon was really friendly and helpful. My color came out wonderful and the keratin treatment was worth it. My hair has never looked so great.

I went to Hair Dynamics for the first time last week and had a single-​process color and cut with Jason. Jason was friendly and talkative and receptive to what I was looking for. I was pleased with the cut and color when I left, plus the price was excellent (normally $ 100 for the cut and color). I am still pleased with the color, however, not so much with the cut. I went to another salon last night to get a keratin treatment done. As the stylist was flat ironing my hair, he pointed out to me that the back was cut very unevenly and it was very noticeable with my hair straightened, which I had told Jason is how I normally wear it. I gave Jason the benefit of the doubt since he cut my hair curly (although it was wet, so not super curly). However, as the other stylist continued he also pointed how bluntly my layers were cut. I may return for color, but definitely not again for a cut!

I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half and my hair has never looked better!!!
They give AMAZING cuts with fairly decent prices. And the people there are SO friendly.
