I ordered through GrubHub a few nights ago. I was told my order would be there around 8:55 –9:05 pm. I stopped paying attention to the time. 9:14. My phone rings. I jumped up off my bed and ran to the door. No one was there. I answered my phone and it was Tedescos calling to inform me that my order is on its way it’ll be about ten minutes they’re just running a little behind tonight. I say awesome, not a problem thank you some much for letting me know. 940 my phone rings again. It’s the driver saying he’s pulling up right now. I wait a few minutes. Still don’t see him. So I go meet him outside. He has about 5 bags in his hand and two boxes.(We were hungry and ordered $ 120 worth of food) I signed the thing and grabbed my food. Walked back to my apartment. The first thing I open up was my broccoli and cheese stromboli. I could see the pale green broccoli poking out. It was beyond over cooked. *sad face* I bring the bags to the bedroom and grab some cutlery. I first tried the stromboli. The broccoli, as I thought, was way overcooked and the dough was soft and mushy but the bottom was dark(almost burnt but still has the burnt taste). So from there, I hand my fiancée his shrimp plate which is dripping with oil. I open my small bolognese with a meatball. The pasta was over cooked almost mush, sitting in water(most likely condensation) and under seasoned. The sauce was chunky with tomatoes and again, no seasoning. The meatball I tried last. It was a giant mush. No texture. No flavor. I was completely bummed. He enjoyed his food(which is rare) that’s why I gave 3 stars. It’s a very unlikely that he enjoys Italian. The cheesy garlic bread was good. It could have been left in the oven a little longer to crisp it up more, but again under seasoned. He tried his other shrimp entrée and enjoyed it as well. I went to our side of sausage. I love love love sausage. They were excellent! Probably the best out of everything we ordered. After I was almost full. I went to tasting our desserts. We ordered the red Velvet which was really sweet and no texture just overly wet. Then was the lemonola cake or something like that. It was really good. Texture and taste. Not overbearing. Then(my usual favorite) the canolli. I didn’t think you could screw up a canolli. Clearly I was wrong. The filling tasted like confectioners sugar with chocolate chips in it and had this brown tinge to it that was off putting. Overall, I was dissatisfied with my order. Luckily for you guys, my boyfriend was not.

You get a lot of food for the lunch special prices. Average service, average food. The red sauce on the pasta is a bit watery. I’ve only tried one thing so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt with the 3rd star.

My favorite pizza in Fort Lauderdale. Glad the original owners are back. Crust is perfect and ingredients are all fresh… no canned mushrooms here!

This place is mediocre there are some things I do enjoy and others that I do not. I didn’t joyed the meatball sub that I ordered the other day however I ordered a side of sautéed spinach and it was frozen chopped spinach major letdown. When I order spinach as a side I expect it to be fresh spinach.

After reading the reviews– I was skeptical of the delivery and quality. But it was 10pm and choices were limited so I threw caution to the wind ordered a supreme pizza for delivery. First– I didn’t entirely pay attention to all the ingredients on the supreme… And there are a lot. To my surprise– even with the abundance of toppings, the dough was crisp and not soggy as I expected. But the winner was the sauce– very flavorful. If your in the mood for pizza delivery– give them a try. My order was quick and pizza great.

The food was delicious. Honestly the quality of food is superb. However, for $ 12.00 I’m almost offended by how small my chicken parm sandwich was. I understand a lunch special is a lunch special… but I’m not full or feeling special lol

I don’t like writing reviews so I leave you with 2 facts and picture proof: 1. Delivery took an hour and a half for a cold cut sandwich and an order of bruschetta 2. Sandwich came with 3 pieces of complimentary organic floss. (Photo evidence is in photo list. It’s the two pictures of hairy styrofoam)

My family and I recently celebrated my birthday at Tedesco’s. It was just perfect for the occasion. The food was so fresh and flavorful with large enough portions to satisfy even the biggest appetite! The only thing better than the food is their staff’s amazing customer service… I will Definately be back soon! Good job Tedesco’s for finding the perfect combination!

Driver went to two wrong addresses, while the correct one was tied to the order the whole time. Simply wasn’t paying attention to the order. Ordered garlic wings which were dry with almost no garlic. Also expected a better lasagne from a pizzeria, very watery and not that great. Much better options to choose from here if you want Italian.

Ordered the angle Hair pasta with shrimp thru their delivery service but ended up throwing most of it away. $ 21 plate should have been great, but I wasn’t able to stomach it. Don’t waste your money here, there are so many good restaurants in Ft Lauderdale.

I hate to have to write a bad review, I have been in the hospital for a month and just released. My husband wanted a Philly and for whatever reason while I was sleeping he ordered it from Tedescos. Since I am only allowed Soft foods he ordered me Minestrone soup. I woke up around 10pm, when my nurse comes. I opened the soup there was so much grease on the top I put my spoon in and I bit into something that I have no idea what it maybe as you can see in the pictures. The soup was horrible, salty and tasted like beef soup base with some pasta and few veggies. We tried to call then but we realized they had closed, no huge deal being a business owner I welcome all feedback so I waited until I could call. Today at 530ish I called the store in a VERY polite manner just to give a heads up. The gentlemen that answered the phone said oh let me let you talk to the owner, I heard him say I am serious someone has a complaint, I sorta giggled and said yeah he was right. I explained the whole story as stated above but he kept interrupting me. telling me yes it could be bone they use beef in the minestrone. He debated with me bullying me. He had asked about the Phliiy I said well my husband ate it but told me it was greasy… he then tore into my husbands opinion(my husband is from philly) telling me he owned a bar 4 blocks from Ginos and Pats. yada yada(wish he would go back there)… I was not even complaining about the philly I was just giving a heads up mostly about the bone but as he kept bullying me asking WHATDOYOWANTFROMME. I said I do not know. He then asked me if I wanted another a soup I even said if we come back in sure. He smart mouthed asked which one Pasta Fagilio or Chicken Noodle. I choose Pasta Fagilio. He said when I can get it there and hung up on me. I know that The ROCK would never say that attitude was acceptable behavior. He may have his pictures there but Dwayne is a hometown local supported of small business in the area and I adore him. Just hope he does support that mouth. Just wanted to give him a heads up. The Delivery of the Pasta Fagilio just got here. It is chicken noodle with north beans and they use Egg noodles there is parsley in it… Never in a million years would i ever eat here or support any part of them.

Stopped in for lunch last week based on the Unilocal reviews. Arrived around 12:30 and the place was empty. It appears they do a healthy take out business. I was greeted and sat right away by a very friendly waitress. There was one other lady working the bar. Both were very nice. I ordered the seafood bisque for my soup and it was very flavorful. I also ordered the Chicken Francaise for my lunch choice. This wasn’t very exciting. Lacked the typical lemon and wine flavor I am used to.(This is one of my favorite dishes to order when I’m at an Italian place). The portion wasn’t very large like some previous reviews stated. There is nothing terrible wrong with this restaurant but there are so many choices out there, average won’t be making me come back any time soon.

I know Tedesco’s has had several different incarnations. Whatever this one is — go try it out! The food was just very average for a long time. Now, everything we have tried is superb. The tomato sauce on the eggplant parmesan is so fresh and tasty. Pizzas are just great. We’ve tried salads and were pleased that everything was very fresh. We’ve ordered wine by the carafe for a table of 5 and that worked well. Recently my husband and I have gone there for dinner — two different times — and the place is uncrowded, very very friendly. It’s become one of our go-to places. Looks like it’s been remodeled inside with the front-room bar gone now. Go! enjoy!

I carried out a small spinach pie. It took less than 20 minutes for them to have it ready. Good quality ingredients for the price. There was only one table dining when I picked up my pizza at 6 pm on a Sunday. Their portions were HUGE! There are meter and non meter spots in front. Nice ambiance inside… just wonder why there weren’t more customers.

As one of the social groups of which I’m a member decided to go here for dinner, I got hooked into returning. Though I had rated Tedesco’s as One Star, I figured that maybe I owed them another chance or that they may have improved. I was wrong. Not only hadn’t they improved, to my astonishment they had gotten, as incredible as this may sound, decidedly worse. I started off with the evenings choice of Caesar salad which when served was nothing but a bunch of greens, not even an emphasis of Romaine, appearing exactly the same as any other salad being served except for the fact that along the side of the plate there was a plastic cup of commercial tasting Caesar dressing. So, in essence, it was a «one size fits all» pile of greens, mix your own, in which you sort of make believe you’ve actually created a Caesar. For my main course, I ordered the strip steak rare with mushroom along with a side of pasta and vegetables. The steak arrived well done, half floating in the midst of a plate of salty mushroom tasting broth sans any visible mushrooms. A chunk of meat sitting there half afloat not only looked pitiable but if there is a taste properly termed«pathetic,» such might best describe the taste. I can’t comment pasta or the vegetables, because after two reminders, and two hours of sitting there, the waiter not only forgot, but kept right on forgetting. Duh! But since he served others seated at my table a soup with teaspoons instead of soup spoons, I didn’t feel left out of the loop of what was over the top laughably incompetent service. I couldn’t help but wonder how a restaurant with such horrid service and downright awful food could possibly remain open. However, I think I got that question answered as I noted a pizza delivery boy coming and going from the kitchen with boxes of pizza. Hence, the answer would seem to be that Tedesco’s is actually more a pizza delivery service than it is a restaurant.
