Summer Jewelry and Estate Buyers

I was very happy when I was referred to this place. They’re not far from my house and I had been wanting to get the crystal in an antique pocket watch replaced for a long time. I was sent here by someone who was sure they could help me.
When I went into the store, I was a little hesitant. The guy was very nice but didn’t exude much confidence. He looked at the watch and went into the back, then came out and said he would have to order the crystal. The watch is from 1900 so I wasn’t surprised with that. He said it would be in in about «two or three days» and took my name and number to call.
Two weeks later I stopped in to the shop to see what the status was. He told me that it was ordered from California and had not arrived yet. I reminded him that he had promised it in «two or three days» and asked if he could contact the place in California and find out when, exactly, he would be getting it. He did and told me it would be in that Friday (this was on a Monday).
Friday came and went and no call from them. It has now been several weeks since I last saw him (and more than a month since I first stopped in) and I still have never heard back from him. I finally found another jeweler in Fort Lauderdale to do the replacement (you can search through my reviews to find that one; he got five stars).
I can only review this place based on my experience and I have to say, it wasn’t good. The fact that they have still never called me makes me question how much they value their customers. I won’t be going back here.
