Karisma Salon

Didn’t say anything until I read 10/​30/​2012 review. I have to say something as this «Salon» is not a positive exerience. It does not appear like it would pass any State licensing inspections for sanitation or licensing — period. No professional appearances here. I went for a manicure and pedicure. So many issues: calling a cell number and leaving numerous voice messages in the attempt to get a callback for an appointment; calls not returned within days; appointment times were limited to when the «technician» wanted to be in the «Salon.» After agreeing on an appointment, the «technician» was a NO SHOW. No notice; no call to cancel. Upon paying for metered parking, I entered the empty, no lights on, unlocked «Salon.» No employees were there. The place is old and overall, looked run down. Calls to the «Salon» number were unanswered. «Technician» later, after missed appointment time, calls saying there was some «personal emergency.» I reschedule. I make the 2 confirm calls to the «technician» this time to make sure the person is going to show up. The «technician» brought in the equipment (files, etc.). No disinfection visible. The pedicure bowl was little more than a portable plastic foot soaking tub. I don’t even want to go on with details. Why I stayed for the mani/​pedi, I do not know. Stupid me. I am lucky I did not end up with infection or disease. That is the positive.

I recently started getting treatments for my skin at karisma. I have had problems with black heads, discolored blemis areas, and fine lines. Everyone seemed to think I was 10 years older due to the condition of my skin. Since receiving treatments people have noticed a change in my appearance. I work in a public environment where I see the same customers everyday. I have had multiple customers tell me how good i am looking, and they all want to know what I have done. This makes me feel wonderful! I do not wear make-​up except for mascara occasionally, so all of my great results have been achieved through the peels and using Rena Levi products. Because I looked so much better after one treatment I brought my teen aged son in for a peel. He was starting to get acne. This is such a hard thing for young people to have to deal with. It made him self conscious around other people his age. He was wearing his hair down over his forehead, which was his biggest problem area. after his appointment his face looked great! he actually styled his hair back so I that he felt great as well. He has continued to use the products and his face looks absolutely wonderful. I love the peels and I love the products. and I would referre my friends It has truly given me a new look and a new youth
