Le buffet brunch est excellent, la vue est superbe et le service est impeccable. Il y a beaucoup de monde le dimanche, je conseille de réserver! Sinon les tables au bar sont souvent disponibles et c’est tout aussi agréable!

Amazing! I haven’t been here since my college years… They have completely renovated the entire location. It’s not the shooters from back in the day with the bikini contests(which was great times as well) now it’s a great place to go have great food, amazing service and enjoy the amazing view and ambiance… And our server Josh was amazing!!!

There sure are a lot of relatively new Unilocal reviewers giving 5 star reviews of this place in Feb. Interesting that they all seem to know their servers, the bartender, and chef on a first name basis. Also, seems like most of these reviews are lacking any specifics on what they actually ate from their new best friend Frankie. Is Shooters trying to bolster their star ratings?

Beautiful views, nice boats and such a relaxing ambience! Visited Shooters on Valentine’s Day and I absolutely loved the service and the food! Ordered the Margarita flatbread pizza & calamari. Very delicious! Not so Much variety on the menu but the choices were fair. Shooters is a hidden gem in the intercostal ft lauderdale waters but well worth the visit. Clean restaurant and attentive staff! Loved the palm trees decorated with lights and the view of the beautiful bay and boats. Will come back again but for their Sunday brunch in which they are very known for.

The view is amazing and management is nice and accommodating. My food wasn’t good, my chicken sandwich with brie was cold and my clam chowder was cold. Both were sent back to be heated. The bread is good but was $ 3 a pop and we were not told. The manager offered to take it off.

Went here for a late lunch with a girlfriend of mine. Ryan took care of us outside and was a great host and server. Very attentive to our needs and what we ordered. He also gave us information on ingredients in particular dishes since my girl is allergic to many ingredients. Been here once before but the service was nothing in comparison to Ryan’s. Food was great and so were the drinks. Highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner and definitely ask for Ryan.

Don’t expect anything more than what it is. A nice waterfront restaurant with great cocktails. This place is really a 3.5. I love the variety of their menu lots of options for me, hubby and child. Great place for seafood and cocktails and a few varied items as well. Best part is I can take my boat there.

If you’re looking for a great spot with fantastic food, impeccable service and dreamy ambiance make reservations at Shooters now! Whether you go there for lunch or dinner, you’re bound to have a great time and most importantly, a great meal. The drinks are great and bartender are super friendly. I really enjoyed the Margaritas Bobbie made me :) Chef Frankie cooks up some delicious dishes. I’ve yet to have something from this menu that I don’t like. Shooters has quickly become one of our go-to places to host birthday celebrations and special occasions. Also great for groups!

Visited a second time thought I needed to share my first«brunch» experience… I was in town literally for a few hours; I went in with a friend who writes for a local paper because he raved about the brunch menu. I had previously found this place by accident when I went to eat one afternoon for dinner. I passed a hip looking Greek restaurant on the way to the place but thought the intercoastal and the timing might make for a decent meal and it did(see previous review). This time was a bit different — both time of day and quality. Apparently this is the only brunch place in Fort Lauderdale because it was jam packed. We called ahead to get good seating because my buddy said the wait time would be forever but he was friendly with a manager. We made the call and away we went. When we arrived we were told it would still be about a 50 – 60 minute wait… ehh… whatever. We went down to the patio deck and the bar and got a cocktail. After about 30 minutes my buddy clocked a server he had previously and we got started on our«Bottomless Mimosa» regiment. We finally got sat about an hour and a half after we got there and ordered some apps pretty quickly. A cheese platter was ordered for the table and I picked up the lamb chops for myself(see previous review). They were pretty good, just like before and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The platter was a bit lackluster compared to what my friend had on a previous visit but hey, it’s just cheese, right? We ordered our food and it came pretty quick actually. The apps were on the table and we had our food pretty soon after so thumbs up to the server for that one! He was funny and laid back, yet attentive and checked in on us often. I had the chicken and waffles, my buddy had the eggs benny and our third guest had the fish and chips. The food was decent, no real complaints. Seemed like the portions were off for what my friend had expected from his prior brunch trip and legit, before we went here, he wouldn’t stop talking about how awesome the brunch was. I don’t know what the bill ended up being, but the bottomless mimosas were $ 20 a person I think and I remember my meal being like maybe $ 13 or 15? Not a bad price — my friend picked up the cheque so I had no idea the total but it was probably north of $ 175? The lamb chops were the star of the day, total 5 stars, the server was on point, 5 stars for that dude, but the wait time and the portions were a bit off — three stars for that. I’ll go back but only for dinner.

We came here with a large group of friends, we were here by 1 pm and we’re hoping to get the bottomless mimosas. By the time that we got seated and got the chance to order any food — it was no point on getting the mimosa option since it would be done shortly, the bottom like here is the the wait time was very long, at some point I considered leaving with my husband and when we were actually ready to leave they got us the table, altogether we had to wait about 2 hours, in my opinion this is way too long. The place however is very nice, the ambiance is great too and the water view is amazing. We finally got our food and it was ok. The steak was cooked well and very tasty. The service was great, the lady was very nice and helpful, she would accommodate our special requests when it came to making some changes to our order.

Forgive the typos and grammatical errors that will no doubt riddle this review, as I’ve recently partaken in Shooters’ Bottomless Mimosa Brunch Special(~$ 20). The Steak and Eggs should be called the Cow and Yolks, because that’s more representative of the heap of meat that was bestowed upon me. Past bite number two I don’t recall much as the mimosas began to take hold, but suffice it to say I didn’t leave hungry. Greg the bartender will keep you entertained if you sit at his counter, while the sun sparkling off of the blue waters of the canal will keep you charmed. If you stay long enough, and annoy Greg consistently enough, you might even get a free mini sample of the Peanut Butter Bar dessert masterpiece. Next time you’re in Fort Lauderdale, stop by this shop for an hour or six. You won’t regret it.

Great location, busy, mediocre lunch buffet, needs better service. 5 stars for the man making the crepes and waffles at the buffet that told the manager to shove off while he was busy serving a collection of customers. Not sure what was so critical for the manager to pull the guy away from a line of hungry customers, so it was brilliant he told him to get lost. 1 star for the cute hostess that checked us in, ended her shift, and made sure our reservation was lost… We waited 30 minutes right in front of the check-in station and no one ever came over to ask us anything. Only when we noticed other walk-ins being immediately seated did I go check in at the desk. Nope, no reservation for us. Wasted time, frustrating and a terrible way to start our meal. 5 stars for our waitress that clearly had too many tables to watch, but did her absolute best to make her rounds and do so with a genuine smile. If only she had fewer tables, I am sure we would have had a better experience. 3 stars for the buffet itself. Limited selection, poor selection of breads or breakfast pastry. Not a great selection of fruit. Sausage was jimmy dean? No juices. Scrambled eggs were over done and tasted like they came right out of the bag. No meat or cheeses. 5 stars to the guy making omelettes, fast, lots of egg, not over cooked, generous with the ingredients and cheese. However I would recommend you work harder at cleaning up your station. You too crêpe guy, clean it up a little. Plenty of big screen TVs to keep your mind occupied, great view of the intercoastal. Not sure the bottomless mimosa is worth it, buy them individually unless you plan on drinking more than 4…

They’ve redone the place since a previous visit — looks nice. They’re in a nice location. You can really walk in from anywhere outside which makes seating confusing — grabbed a spot at the bar fairly easily though for a football Sunday. Menu is a bit small and pricey — there’s so many staff members its hard to know who’s helping who. Our initial greeting was from the service bar bartender who seemed to love talking about his job and complaining about how many drinks he’s had to make. Yet, he offered us nothing and went back to pouring mimosas while leaving us with«you know, just doin what i do» …okkk? Eventually we were greeted by our extremely enthusiastic bartender who was full of information about the menu and a bit overbearing while we were trying to order… Food took FOREVER to come out and unfortunately they’d screwed mine up in a big way but i was too hungry to Care and picked out the offensive item i asked to be omitted… and soaked up the aggressive amount of cooking oil with a napkin. They did offer me a free drink for the mistake… when i was drinking water. Across the bar it was evident they were over serving a women mimosas as she was basically falling off her stool… All and all I don’t recommend.

The view is beautiful and the restaurant itself is decorated lovely but there food is just bland. I never add salt to anything and i had to add salt to my dishes. I love that they do have unlimited mimosas for $ 20. Its definitely worth it. I probably will try it again for lunch on a Friday and not brunch and see if the food is any different. I do love the atmosphere so we will be coming back if not for the food the drinks for sure.

11÷12÷15. Dinner Shooters is stylish, chic and contemporary. They have veranda that affords the view of the intercoastal waterway. We chose to sit inside to escape the humidity and the view is just as nice. They have a full bar Moscow Mule and Cosmo were both promptly served. We skipped appetizers since we’ve been noshing all day. *Lobster Salad($ 19.50) is not exactly what we expected, although it’s tasty. It was served on a romaine leaf as if you’d made tuna salad. It’s not like a lobster roll served instead on a bed of greens. Also the menu posted on Unilocal is not updated so we went into Shooters expecting lobster roll served during dinner, but it’s only served during lunch. The server did confirmed that they trimmed down the menu upon the completion of renovation in 2014 under new ownership. No biggie. *Cashew-crusted Mahi($ 27) is the typical fusion fare. Pan seared mahi, about 6 oz, crusted with crushed cashew on a not-so-sticky sticky rice(which I really liked) in a Thai red curry sauce. Curry not too spicy or overpowering and the fish is seared to perfection preserving the moisture. It’s a wonderful dinner! *Baked Alaska($ 11) is a pleasant surprise since many restaurants now skim put on a pastry chef who could fix up one! It’s got ice cream inside. Perfect to conclude a nice evening. Shooters is great with a more condensed menu than other restaurants in the area. But they know what they are doing and execution is pretty good. It’s a stylish and chic place with great service.

Really 2 ½ stars but upgrading to 3 stars because of the absolutely stunning view. My family dined here tonight and it was just the right temperature with the slightest of breezes… just perfect! Unfortunately the food and service did not match up to the weather! 10 year old and I started off sharing a Tuna Tartar. It was good but did not knock my socks off. I did like the layer of avocado. I do prefer my tuna chunks a little smaller. I did not really like the hot sauce smeared on the bottom of the plate. There are about a dozen entrees to choose from, but none of them really called out to me. Honestly, they all sounded a little boring so I just had some New England Clam Chowder, which was fine. Husband ordered the Short Ribs which he did not like. The meat was tough and he did not like the sauce. Both boys got burgers and liked them. In general, service was very friendly but very spotty. We first stared having difficulties when a couple of items we wanted to order were not available(such as the Fish Dip). Our appetizers arrived immediately but it took quite a while for our main courses to arrive. It then took three tries to get 12 year old’s burger right. How many times do you have to say, «Nothing but burger, cheese, & bun», before they get it right? The manager came over to ask if everything was alright but by that time it was really too late to fix. I’m certainly not running back here. The food was pretty average, on expensive side, and the service was lackluster. I’m not sure if the view made up for all of that.

We came by here Friday night to have drinks with friends from out of town. I have not been here since they closed this place down years ago. The old place felt like an old dive bar where the local hangs out, but its totally different now. It looked classy, trendy, and the customers mostly looked like tourists. In any case, it’s definitely looking a lot better than before. We first sat in their outdoor patio looking at the intercostal. It’s got a large boating dock, big enough too accommodate water taxi. The patio area looked pretty nice; however, the service was not the case. We hardly saw our server during the visit, and the drinks took forever to get to us. Given the place was not very busy on a Friday night, I find it totally unacceptable. After finishing our first round of drinks and waited for our waitress to come for about half an hour, we decided to take the party inside and get our drinks at the bar. We noticed on the menu, it says happy hour from 7pm to close, and the appetizer were half off. Feeling excited on order more drinks to go along trying their appetizer, we were very disappointed when the bartender told us they do not offer happy hour deals on Friday night. We argued with him that’s not what it says on the menu. The only explanation we were told the menu is a mistake and the manager failed to take down. It’s a shame because the appetizers we ordered were pretty delicious. The drinks in the happy hour menu seemed like a really good deal. Despite how beautiful this place looked now, I felt this place probably will not going to make because poor customer service by their wait staff and the menu misprint fiasco. It really ruined the whole dining experience for me and my friends from out of town.

This is a review of one specific dish at Shooter’s. Sure, we had other dishes: a lovely crab & shrimp tower with avocado and heirloom tomatoes, lobster salad with romaine and endive, and also the ribeye steak with roasted potatoes; but it was the Key Lime Baked Alaska that I want to talk about. It sounded intriguing, and I asked if it was served flambeed. The waiter said it was toasted, so we ordered it with great curiosity. What we got was a delicate and simple thin sponge cake, with an absolute mountain of creamy, smooth and tart key lime custard, topped with meringue which had been torched. It was served with a milky coconut rum sauce — heavy on the rum. When I say this was one of the most delicious and perfect desserts I’ve ever had, I am not exaggerating. Oh, and the Blood Orange Cosmo was quite good, too.

**** 2 ½ Stars **** — — — — — — — — I see from looking at the most recent reviews, that I’m going to be the naysayer. Our large group of 11 people had a reservation here for an early dinner(5 p.m.) on a weeknight. At that time, the place wasn’t very busy. When we got there, the person who made the reservation told the hostess what name it was under. She said that she would check to see if the table was ready. When she came back, she called out the wrong name. No one in our party was named«Howard» so we had blank looks on our faces. Finally the person who made the reservation asked her if she meant to call our party. She said yes and apologized. We were taken to a large table that was outside. The view of the water was beautiful plus the seating area was covered which helped keep the sun off us. There is a bar in the area and live music. So as the place got busier, it got noisier. Our server came to our table in a timely fashion and took our drink orders. Then we waited… and waited. When the drinks arrived, the server had trouble remembering who got what drink. At that time, we gave our appetizer and dinner orders. This is when we discovered that not only was the bar slow but the kitchen was agonizingly slow. In fact, some in our party — the older folks especially — were getting really hungry. After an excruciatingly long time, the appetizers showed up… well…at least some of them did. I expected that the others would come along in quick succession, but no. As for how the appetizers tasted — I can only speak for those of us at our end of the table. Our daughter ordered New England clam chowder and it didn’t have a single clam in it. We also got«ahi tuna tartare», which was halfway decent. This restaurant has a thing for sriracha sauce and even though there was only a thin line of it on this apps plate, if it got on the tuna, avocado wonton chips or cucumber, it had the effect of negatively impacting the overall flavor of it. My husband had a shrimp cocktail which he said was good except for… the sriracha sauce that was on the plate. He was glad that at least there was traditional cocktail sauce in a cup. We finished our appetizers and waited and waited for dinner. Again, when it finally showed up, only half of the table got theirs and the rest of us had to wait too long. Once again, the server didn’t know who got what. As for how dinner was — I got fish tacos with cilantro rice on the side. This dish has 3 tacos that have mahi mahi as well as black beans and corn. Some of the mahi mahi tasted fishy and the dish was spicier than expected. Truth is, the whole meal gave me indigestion. The cilantro rice, although on the dry side, did have good cilantro flavoring. Three people at our end of the table ordered«seared brown scallops and shrimp». The overall consensus was that this was a decent dish — not the best they had but not the worst. Finally, it was time for dessert. I had a bowl of vanilla ice cream which had a grainy texture. Our daughter had the cheesecake which claimed to have an oatmeal crust. Instead, the cheesecake looked like a scoop of ice cream and the«crust» was basically some crumbled oatmeal that was placed under the cake part. She said this was not a good dish. I tasted a bit of the cheesecake and it was on the sour side. My husband had the cherry pie and only ate half. All he would say was that it didn’t taste good at all. All in all, it took over 2 hours from start to finish. The servers, in general, didn’t seem to know what they were doing. In fact, one confused server came to our table with a plates of food that belonged to someone else. On a positive note, the valet parking worked out very well with no problems at all. The outdoor dining area is lovely. If only they had their act together when it came to service from both back and front of the house.

5÷23÷2015− I have been to Shooters a few times before. Every time it has been great. First off the parking out front in the garage area is very convenient plus they have complimentary valet parking. The hostesses are very friendly and welcoming. As you walk through this spacious restaurant to the stunning view of the Intercostal you immediately fall in love. Especially on a beautiful sunny afternoon when you have a myriad of yachts and fishing boats just cruising. We sat on the high tops by the inside bar. Our waiter Derek immediately approached us, greeted us and brought us waters and menus. He was very knowledgeable with the menu, he recommended some specials and some of his favorites. We ordered the calamari, which Derek said was one of the best in town, and the Tuna Tartar. We squeezed lemon on the calamari and ate some without the marinara sauce and it was very bland. The marinara sauce saved it. The Ahi Tuna Tartar, with avocado, mangoes, ponzu sauce & wasabi was one of the prettiest presentations I’ve ever seen. And it was so tasty, we ate this all up. It has crispy wontons for scooping purposes. We ordered more; they were so crispy and fresh. We checked out of the bar table because the sun was coming down on us and we were getting burnt up. So, after checking out with Derek, we moved to the bar area to order lunch. The service at the bar started off well, the girl bartender took our order, served us our drinks then she disappeared. There were 2 male bartenders, 1 female bartender making drinks for the servers and the bar back. We could not get anyone to ask us for a drink. They kept walking back and forth, not paying attention to the customers. Our drinks were empty for a long time. There were 15 people at the bar, the service should have been better, or so I thought. We ended up ordering the fish of the day, Swordfish with Cous Cous and just cashed out. The fish was a little bland but it was a great portion, we ended up splitting the meal and it was plenty, especially after 2 appetizers.
