Just came here and this place was amazing!!! Easy 5 stars. If you just came from out of town, come here, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Order the Rock shrimp as an appetizer

Amazing view. I’d return just for the fantastic view and environment. I thought the food was pretty good for a «beach bar». Even better were the interesting drinks. The service here was great too. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The restaurant was full of a mix of people. Kids, young(drinking) adults, sloshy older adults and posh looking families. Interesting mix but everyone fit in just fine. Nice space, nice atmosphere.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I agree with Rachel P. this is probably a 3.5 for the food but with the stunning ocean view in the harbor marriot it deserves four stars. Great service and really creative menu has an excellent variety of specials each time I am there. This is the casual upscale restaurant in this hotel as opposed to Ocean 3030 but it isn’t casual on your wallet:) Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Was staying at the marriot for a conference so I tried this place out during their happy hour(5−7pm). The deals are actually pretty good! $ 8 for 12 wings, $ 8 for flatbreads, and less than $ 10 for other apps and wine. It is conveniently on the beach so you would have a good view. The indoor structure is basically made out of glass so you can also enjoy the view from indoor dining.

I actually found this place through Elizabeth’s and my first ever Unilocal elite event. I had no idea then, but this was going to be the place that I proposed to my now fiancé! Thanks to Elizabeth’s boss helping with planning, I was able to set up a surprise private dinner on the beach here with relatively short notice. Elizabeth’s boss made up a story that she had to come here to meet with someone for work. She brought her here only to find me on the beach with roses and a ring! The meal was staged under an umbrella with some fire pits on a relatively secluded section of the beach in front of the restaurant. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The meal that they prepared was delicious! We had steak, oysters, salmon and desserts. They even included a couple of complimentary bottles of champagne. The head chef came out to talk to us and ask us how we liked the meal. This was an excellent experience. We spent three hours on the beach enjoying each course of the meal while talking about possible wedding plans. Hopefully we will be able to come back to try out the regular menu some time soon.

Probably the worst service I’ve ever had… I dined here two nights in a row and both nights same experience. Took 15 minutes to get drinks. As I am writing this I just had a dirty martini and there was definitely sprite in it… Just terrible. Go somewhere else if possible.

I sat at the outside bar by the pool, getting just sloshed enough to not hate being in Florida. The fish tacos are solid, and you get two free drinks if you’re staying at the hotel. Yuengling is the least bad beer on offer. I chose mojitos. The staff are friendly, and if you like people, I assume the people watching is good here. I hate people, so I read a book instead.

The original plan was to take part on the Unilocal Summer of Steak special at Sea Level. But when we got there that Saturday afternoon, we realized that the happy hour specials were going on, and looked like pretty good deal. So, we ditched the plan and decided to sit in the outside patio and get some appetizers and drinks. The place looked pretty nice. There was a huge outside bar where people can hang out. And there is an area with tables so people can enjoy the view of the beach while dinning. Happy hour drinks include $ 4.00 domestic beers, $ 6.00 house wine and $ 6.00 well spirits. I ordered a rum and coke while my wife had the gin and tonic. Not bad for $ 6.00 cocktails with a beautiful view. The appetizer also looked very interesting. We started off with some Rock Shrimp and Avocado Cocktail with BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The shrimp cocktails were very refreshing! I love the touch of the avocado with the shrimp. But the BBQ Chicken Flatbread turned out to be a disappointment. The dough was very undercooked. The waitress tried to spin it calling it’s the cheese, but I think we are smart enough to tell the difference between raw pizza dough and cheese. Oh well, no big deal. We turned the flatbread away and ordered the Bucket of Mussels and Traditional Buffalo Wings instead. This time it turned out to be the right decision. The mussels were pretty tasty, and the sauce on the wings was excellent. Pretty good deals for $ 9.00(well the wings were only $ 8.00). I’d have given this place a 5 star rating if the flatbread wasn’t undercooked. But I really like the atmosphere in this place. It’s a nice place to hang out in a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The only other issue I see is the parking. Even after the validation is $ 5.00 for valet plus tips. But if you want to have a great time in a nice place, it’s worth the price.

Stayed at the hotel and got in fairly late so we were happy to be able to grab a quick bite to eat. The service was not the fastest but was very friendly(they appeared to be understaffed). I had an item not on the menu(they have specials listed on a big chalk board wall) which was a lobster burger type sandwich. It was flavorful and fresh. I had it with the house made chips which were crisp and tasty. My boyfriend go the crab cake sandwich which was also flavorful and delicious. We ended the meal with the chocolate brownie dessert and arroz con leche. The chocolate cake was a little too rich for my tastes(think very rich dark chocolate) but the arroz con leche was light and the perfect end to the meal. Definitely recommend going to this place if you are staying nearby.

This was night 1 of my wife and I’s 11 night stay here at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. After a 5.5 hr long flight from Seattle, all we wanted was some good food in our bellies to start our vacation. We had stayed here before and remembered that the lunch from this restaurant was pretty good. Apparently today everyone was having an off day… We got sat at the far end of the patio area, which was nice so we could talk and decrompress we thought. We sat there for over 10 minutes not being acknowledged by any server until I went back to hostess and asked who our server was. The hostess was pleasant and said she would get him to our table. Once the server came around we ordered the calamari as our our appetizer. When we got it, it looked great… unfortunately it was so over cooked it made it incredibly chewy. I felt like I was eating Old Bay Seasoning flavored gummy bears! I let another server know that we didn’t like them, since our server continued to be scarce. The other server brought us another batch of calamari, which was more edible. We then received our main dishes. I had the Southwest Burger, ordered medium. The burger was a bit dry, but ok enough to eat… taking into account my hunger. My wife received her $ 38 paella… yup 38. She dug into some shrimp and then began to eat some of the lobster tail. She offered me the other half. When I started separating the lobster meat from the shell I noticed a dark line throughout the lobster tail. Since it was dark outside, I had to turn on my phone flashlight. It turned out the lobster was not devained properly. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back! At that point I asked to speak to a manager and let him know the series of events. I showed him the picture I took of the lobster tail. He said he didn’t know what that black line was. To which I explained that it’s the«vein», but in reality it’s what expels the waste… or poop shoot… lol. The manager ended up comping the un– eaten paella and the chewy calamari. I get that nothing is perfect and flavors differ from restaurant. I am also not usually the complaining type, but poor food prep and service at a restaurant on resort property is unacceptable; especially for a $ 38th plate.

Gorgeous Beachside View Whilst Being Fed Ceviche By Exotic Beautiful Bahamian Women From The Savanna & Catching The Ocean Breeze That Is To Die For ;) SITREP The Attached Ocean Side Bar To The Harbor Marriot — Ft. Lauderdale is absolutely amazing. Props to my sweet friend Savanna M. for bringing me here with a bunch of our friends for an afternoon frolic. P-A-T-I-O! I have to say this is one of the most spectacular, quad-level, multi-tiered, über-fantastic patios I’ve every partied on! I know that when I come back to Ft. Lauderdale, THIS is probably the hotel & lounge combo I will return to. BAR&RESTAURANT Fantastic drinks, amazing food, this was the«fun playground» that actually hosted our last event for an incredible extended weekend of outstanding Spring Break gaity. [Yes, I used the word«g-a-i-t-y» in it’s denotative definition.] :P THELOWDOWN A very classy, chill and yet fun stop in Ft. Lauderdale!

Staying at this beautiful Marriott we needed a late night snack and were told this was the more casual place to eat. The meals are quite pricey, however. I felt a little sticker shock(after a week long cruise and dropping a lot of $$$ this is the place that sticker shocked me!). All meals were about $ 20. All wine was about $ 12 per glass. As mentioned it was a late night snack so we didn’t order a ton of food. Of three in our party the orders were: super salad, fish tacos and a quesadilla appetizer. We opted to sit at the bar because it was so dark at the tables. The bartender asked if it was one check or three and we opted for separate. She went ahead and put all of our orders in as separate meals as if we were not sitting together. So all three meals came out at come completely different times. I’ve worked in and eaten in places enough times to know you can do your job better than this. Yes it’s s little extra effort. But it’s customer service and common sense. Despite the terrible customer service and ridiculously inflated prices, my salad was good($ 15 for a quesadilla?! Stop it). However, the menu did say two types of fish in the salad and it only came out with one. My friend did like her quesadillas. They were pretty standard. The fish tacos had fish, white cheese, onions and sauce. It felt like they weren’t complete. Some tomato, avocado or fresh shredded cabbage would have been good options to bring them together. Cheese on fish isn’t something commonly done or expected, either. Even my champagne I had an issue because they put a blackberry in it, so as it sits the flavor really changes from dry champagne to the berry flavor. I’d prefer without it or tucked on the rim of the glass so people can choose to eat it right away or add it to the champagne.

Two appearances and I love it more than the first. The restaurant and bar sits right along the beach and it offers indoor and outdoor seating. I wasn’t hungry when I went, so I settled for cocktails. The Pisco Freeze, Harbor Beach thirsty turtle, and piña colada were my selections and they were delicious. The bartenders were quick and keeping everyone happy with their drinks and food. Remember to pull out your parking ticket if you parked at the Marriott hotel and they’ll validate it for you. Excellent!

The Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar was a fantastic choice for the Unilocal spring break UYE farewell party! There were great happy hour specials from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. that included wine and well drinks and food specials. My plan was to drink one and eat one for a couple hours. Their well bourbon was Jim Beam which was fine by me for a happy hour is $ 8 special. I started with the rock shrimp and avocado then got the muscles which were fantastic, and the buffalo chicken wings which were spicy but not too spicy. I finished with another order of the rock shrimp and avocado. I was counting straws for my drinks but somehow I ended up with 6 straws. Did I drink 6? I only got billed for 4. But maybe that tall master chemist bought me a drink or two… What was her name? Hmmmmm… Fantastic times! Thank you again for organizing this great event Savannah, great location!

Good food and cool menus– the sautéed spinach was surprisingly good. The fish tacos were also winners. Do yourself a favor and get the grapefruit mojito, too. For apps, we tried the calamari. It was solid but it was all rings, which was a bit disappointing. Minus a star because the service, while friendly and knowledgeable, was a little slow, the prices are high for the food(dat view doe) and for no heads in the calamari. I’d come back.

Great location, great food. You can’t beat the view from the patio. The drinks and food was a little on the pricey side, but on par with most other hotels in Fort Lauderdale in the area. The service was great.

As promised, I came back! And yes, I’m even more excited about planning a happy hour UYE here! The only thing holding me back from the 5th star is the pricing, which as expected due to location is a bit steep, but during HH the pricing is much more reasonable, so no doubt I’ll be upgrading to 5 stars after a HH experience! I came here on Valentine’s day to grab a drink after our meal. We sat at the bar and watched some of the tv’s(some European competitive snowboarding event was on) and chatted with the bartender over drinks. I opted for the Shark Bite cocktail which at $ 13 was a bit steep, but this was a big glass and honestly so tasty I had no guilt when ordering a second. Junior, our bartender did let me know that the Shark Bite cocktail would soon be switching from jalapeño infused tequila to a vodka infused tequila(I can only guess the standard guest here is scared of tequila) but that they’d happily muddle fresh jalapenos for me in the future if I wanted to stick to the tequila recipe! So 5 stars to Junior and the service we received. I even got a drink comped since they remembered me from my earlier visit in the week :) Valet parking is validated here for $ 5, which makes the Sea Level a real steal for those wanting to enjoy beach side drinking.

The time to come here is definitely happy hour during the low season. We sat out on the patio looking at the ocean, feeling the breeze, and had drinks on special and half-priced appetizers. The food was good, but not excellent. The drinks on special were nothing to write home about, but were solid. I felt the pricing was quite reasonable considering the location and ambiance. The waiter we had was a delight and very helpful. A cheerful fellow, he kept us lighthearted and didn’t interfere with our conversation too much. He did seem to do a great job of chatting up people who were there alone, and they seemed to appreciate that(I know I would have, as I frequently travel alone). Overall a pleasant experience.

The feeling of sitting beachside feeling the ocean breeze while drinking a sassy drink and eating some great food is a tease for me. It’s a tease because I can’t experience and live like that everyday and only when I am at Sea level Restaurant & Ocean Bar at the Harbor Beach Marriott. Yes, the scenery outside sitting under an umbrella while listening to a live one-man band(usually during lunch time on Saturday and Sundays) is the epitome of pure bliss. I must say that the one-man band is way better on Sunday’s then on Saturday’s, but that’s just me and my taste in music. So the experience is blissful but what about the food? For being a seaside Marriott joint, this place pretty much rocks! Is it expensive for the«type» of food you are getting… yes, but it is so worth the ambiance! I have been here at least 10 times on 4 different occasions of where I stayed at Harbor Beach Marriott and the food never disappoints. So what’s a MUST eat and absolutely DELICIOUS? –Jumbo Lump Crab Salsa –Bucket of Mussels –Fish Tacos Start off with a bucket of mussels or the jumbo lump crab salsa! Both are huge and heavenly! The bucket of mussels is juicy and is literally a bucket with at least 50 mussels. It comes with bread which I like to dip in the lemon grass broth that the mussels are cooked in. My all time fave is DEF. the Jumbo Lump Crab Salsa! The combination of pico de gallo salsa with huge chunks of crab topped on long tortilla strips is AHHH-MAZING!(I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!). If you have room to eat more after apps, my all time fave is definitely the fish tacos! Fresh mango, mahi mahi, pico de gallo and cheese all combined to offer a wonderful party in your mouth… and the mango def. makes it a party! I always ask for the mango relish on the side, since they give you more when it’s on the side then when they put it on top of your tacos. And what else is good eat? Apps –Calamari with marinara — You can’t ever go wrong with some calamari beachside. –Rock Shrimp and Avocado Cocktail — This almost made it on my“must eat” list because the tiny little shrimp and avocado topped on a crispy flat bread is delish, but the other two apps won my heart more. — Hummus — Hummus is fresh(not out of a bag/container) and is very good, but I would rather have seafood while sitting beachside. Burgers/Lunch/Dinner –Southwestern Burger –By far the best burger on the menu hands down with avocado, chipotle aioli, pepper jack cheese and fried onions! Its awesome! The only thing I would ask for if I were to get this burger again is to have it with more avocado. — Marriott Burger — It’s good because there’s bacon. — Crab cake burger — This will hit the spot for your crab cravvvvving. –Jumbo Lump Crab and Arugula Salad is the booooomb! I hate eating salads as a meal, but this one is sometimes very tempting because of its huge pieces of crab. DIDYOUSAYHAPPYHOUR? It’s awesome to be on vacation and there be a happy hour EVERYDAY(yes including weekends) from 5−7PM. What’s on the happy hour menu? Well you can get some of the appetizers for like half price –like the bucket of mussels is like $ 19 instead of like $ 20 and the Rock Shrimp is $ 8 instead of $ 16. There are some flatbreads on special for cheap and, of course, drinks! Domestics are $ 3, wells drinks are $ 5 and wines are $ 5. Happy hour is a bargain! So what about the service? Well, its like baseball, you either hit or miss the pitch. Sometimes service could be really good and other times it can be slow and waiters forget to bring you things, and are not attentive to your table. It’s really the roll of a dice, but I guess that’s how it is anywhere you go. I can’t wait until my next mini-vacay to Harbor Beach and Sea Level !! :-)

Yesterday stopped by for lunch with my friend and we let the server know that our time is a bit of a rush. We sat by the view of the beach and we didn’t get any utensils… smh! Our server was like over the place. We ordered To Share section a bucket of mussels. We first have no spoons and ended up with having six… WTF! No communication between the servers and the hostess had an attitude. Once the mussels came to our table, we asked for the check right away. Oh boy, oh boy the broth was soooo delicious and love the mussels. Overall not worth to come here, unless you stay in the hotel!
