Ramada Fort Lauderdale Oakland Park

This place is NOT worth the money!
Rooms smell so bad! Plus I got a nasty lung infection after staying here.4 weeks later I’m ok
The breakfast ended at 8:30.when it was supposed to be at 9… But Even 9? That’s way too early.
Staff screaming at each other while you try to relax at the pool.

Don’t ever stay here. Ever. The rooms are small and smell like chemical cleaner. The light fixtures in the room are rusted. On the beds they give you small square throw pillows. I’m pretty sure no one spends a whole night here. Unbelievable that Ramada would attach their name to this property.

We stayed here one night because our flight out of ft Lauderdale got cancelled at 11:30pm. I called 12 hotels in the area and they were all booked. I wouldn’t stay here again if I could help it. They couldn’t find my reservation at first and said that they don’t like it when people use the 1 – 800 number to book because they don’t get the message right away and sometimes run out of rooms. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke and the Family Guy tv show was playing very loudly on the big screen TV. The elevator to our room was dingy and creaky. The beds looked clean. That was one positive. The towels looked dingy though. The free breakfast was pretty pathetic. We got to breakfast at 7:30am and the coffee tasted like it was sitting in the pot for hours. Choices were bagels, muffins, or waffles. We ate and went to the airport early for our flight out because we didn’t want to hang out there.

It should have negative stars. My husband and I went here and we didn’t even feel comfortable staying the night. I went into the room and went into the bathroom I saw roaches. We asked for a new room, still roaches, we asked for another room no change still little roaches so we left and went to a Hampton Inn by the airport.
When we told the front desk about the bug problem and the excuse… «It’s the tropics» I do not recommend.

I wasn’t all that impressed. The Hotel was clean, I’ll give them that, but it was dated. BE AWARE… There’s a $ 15 a day RESORT FEE you will pay when you check out. Nobody mentioned that when we checked in. That kinda sucked…

Very clean both inside and outside. Nice pool area which includes a tiki bar. Bar doesn’t open until 2 PM.

It was okay for the price, it was clean except for the floor of the tub. Didn’t have hot water. It’s a very basic hotel that is the same level
Of a Red Roof Inn.
