First time ever and had the most wonderful experience. Wonderful staff with a welcoming smile. Clean restaurant and fast service. Let’s talk about the food ! Chicken was juicy and well cooked. Beans were seasoned to perfection. Over all a 5 star experience :) Recommending this place to everybody !!!

Good quality food but the food was cold and the plantains was cold and burned. I definitely not coming back to this location.

My husband and I got the burger and the picanha steak with rice, beans, and seasoned fries. The burger patty was so thin it remind me of a McDonald’s happy meal burger. Very little meat for the price. No signature cheese, no signature sauce, definitely not memorable unless I remember how hungry I was after I ate the small patty. The piece of steak was very small. It’s an outrage they charge $ 10 for the amount of meat they provide you with. The beans were very under seasoned. We would have been better off going to Chipotle instead. We would have gotten better tasting food and a lot more of it. Also the fries were ok but they have the audacity to charge $ 2.99 for seasoning to put on the fries. I can safely say we will not be returning to this establishment. Only good thing was the chimichurri.

The food was ok; but my husband left hungry, he ate the meat, but he didn’t care much for the sides. The meat portions were however very small, the chimichuri sauce was nice.
The place was clean and we got assisted quickly.
This place is more than a fast food place, but it’s not your average restaurant experience.
Overall experience was average, don’t think will be coming back.

Polite staff, very good food, especially for the concept of fresh & fast. I ordered the steak grill plate and it was great. It came with a chimichurri sauce (that I didn’t even need), but it added more flavor. Delicious & I will be back.

went for lunch with coworkers. Got the platter with salmon (beware they are great with the upsale without you noticing). The platter comes with two sides of rice and beans and you choose another. I went with brown rice, steamed veggies and a mixed green salad. Also tried the pao de quijo and tres leches. Since they got me on the upcharge I did double salmon which my total was around $ 23 (I know for lunch don’t judge). Pao de queijo was okay $ 1 for two small ones. I loved the platter, the double for me was to much but they portion/​price/​taste ratio is good. Tres leches is always a win. Service was well and was able to make it in and out.

Tried to complete a phone order today for 9 people to pick up at the Cypress Creek location and was put on hold during the middle of the order. 10 minutes went by and I finally hung up. Called back twice and no one ever answered… Walked into the restaurant to see what was up and found out that I was completely blown off I was told that they were in the middle of their lunch rush and that they would have gotten back to me eventually. What? BTW, the employee that was taking my order was doing absolutely nothing when I walked into the restaurant. I can understand being busy, however to completely thumb your nose at a local business that is trying to order for nine people is ridiculous. This place needs new management. I know one thing. There are nine hungry people that will never visit Giraffas again.
One last note. In addition to this service failure, the food at this location has been inconsistent.

My husband wanted to try this place since he is a burger lover… the burgers were… ok. the fries were super salty! Be careful if you have to watch your salt intake! The brigadero werent very good either

Got a groupon and scored with 2for1 on beer for «happy hour». What a great deal. Clean place with great service. I ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. It was a skirt steak, it’s a fatty cut of beef but tasty, don’t complain about the fat when you order this (as I have read complaints in previous reviews). It was cooked to temperature perfectly. Sides are decent, grilled veggies and black beans are good. Fresh salad. Next time I’ll try the plantains. Give it a try.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and this place isn’t growing on me. I’m not sure that it will.
It’s close to where I work on Cypress Creek and is right in the middle of two popular destinations — Blaze Pizza and Chipotle. Those two places typically have folks lining out the door, and so Giraffas is a good alternative as the lines are typically small to non-​existent.
On my first visit I ordered grilled chicken breast with vegetables and on my second visit I ordered a hamburger with fries. There was nothing really special about either option. The Brazilian theme just isn’t working, and I love Brazilian-​styled steak, too. I’ve had it before and love it. In the back of my mind, when I enter this place, I have this perception that I will have a really good experience, and leave underwhelmed.
There isn’t really much else to say. There is a reason this place isn’t packing them in. I’m not clear what it can do to attract more customers.

I’ve been here quite a few times and have never received bad service. They are very nice and helpful. We always get the Brutus burger, it’s quite delicious, comes with so much on it, not bad for the price. Again this is fast food, so don’t expect all star over the top steak.

Ordered season fries gave me regular, ordered well done got mid well, place was dirty and un kept. No katsup, staff unresponsive and lacked care. All drinks were out but they still sell you a drink, really at lunch time no drinks. Tried to order their Brazilian beer they DON’T CARRY IT HOW IN TE HELL DO YOU NOT CARRY YOUR OWN BEER. FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE MANGER DIDN’T CARE ABOUT CONPLIAMTS. Time to close down unless your fire your staff and start over.

Giraffes 4 – 7 — Andrews & CCR — order burger w/​side of siracha mayo, garlic parsley fries, green tea dispenser — no options on bun type, burger (no to goulda option) well charred, bun to beef ratio terrible — thinnish & absolutely nothing came on this burger, siracha not spicy at all, fries thinnish & way too salty, no lemon for the tea available — was charged $ 13 plus 1 tip — for a $ 5.99 lunch burger combo special — complain to cashier & recieved a free burger lunch special between 1−4pm gave it away –maybe will try steak, grilled vegetables, quinoa plate in future ?? 3.0

My steak could have been more tender. I know this is not a high end steakhouse but rather a quick fix for steak crave. Something is missing flavor wise. As Brazilian oriented steak this needs more flavor. The place is clean. The service needs more organization. They were very nice and caring though but only two people working left customers guessing and waiting.
I do hope they pull it together because they have good menu and nice clean modern décor place. Good pricing. For a steak it will not be an arm and a leg… but the steak needs more tenderness (the buyer can improve this) and more flavor (the chef can improve this) and a better feel for well put together restaurant. The manager can check on all of the above.
I will be back to give a try again

First time here and I was hoping for great food. My husband got the Brutus burger, it lacked flavor and was very dry the egg in it seemed like it was heated up.
I ordered the piranha special. The steak itself was also very dry with no flavor and the chimmichuri didn’t even taste good at all! The only good thing was the seasoned fries.
Like everyone is saying this is like a fast food place. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I love everything about this place. The decoration and how the restaurant itself is set up is very upbeat and modern. You walk up to the cashier to order your food, they give you a tracking device, then you pick a seat and they bring it out to you.
The staff there are very animated and friendly. Chris and Jazmine are my two favorite cashiers there, very polite people and so much fun to talk to. I’ve also come to learn that a fellow by the name Xavier is the best when it comes to cooking a steak.
I usually get the Picanha or Contra Filet with farofa, quinoa, and grilled veggies. The farofa and quinoa are the best I’ve ever had. Period. I’ve had farofa in many high end Brazilian rodizios and this place surprisingly surpasses them all in a taste test. I also have tried countless quinoa recipes and Giraffas has the most delicious, refreshing recipe I’ve ever had. It’s a must have for anyone and it’s extremely healthy.
The steaks there are such a good deal for the pricing. Not the best steak I’ve ever had but hey for the price and amount of time it takes to cook there’s literally no better tasting steak for that price anywhere else. The burgers are very juicy but a little pricey for not coming with fries but I was told they were going to start including fries with the burgers in the near future. The chicken breast is also juicy and in my opinion a necessity to go along with any of their fresh salads.
Finally they have a unique amount of sauces. Their salad dressings include a tasty Balsamic, lime ranch, and Passion fruit. Sauces for the meat dishes include Brazilian Vinaigrette or a chimi churi (both delicious). For seafood such as salmon or shrimp I recommend the Bahia butter or Garlic butter. Lastly for burgers they offer garlic mayo or Sriracha mayo.
I love this place and will come here as often as I can!

I walked in not knowing what a Brazilian burger was, I am still not sure I know.
But what I can say is that for a burger, it was delicious. You walk in to a very cafeteria like atmosphere leaning on the side of fast (er) food. Orders are prepared per order which is a plus in the taste department. I was greeted right a way with a smile and a how can I help you. I placed my order, and handed over the roughly $ 10 dollars for a burger fries and a Brazilian soda of some kind that resembled a citrus infused ginger ale of sorts… I was a fan, but it was an expensive can at $ 2.30.
Back to the burger. I got the Cheeseburger with Sriracha Mayo bacon and gouda cheese. Very tasty, the gouda was a nice twist to the average burger. Sadly I don’t even remember tasting ANY heat from the mayo, I almost thing it was not there.
The fries… oh the FRIES! I am not a big fry fan, I try to stay away from the little deep fried hellions. However I had the seasoned fries, generously coated in a seasoning blend of rosemary garlic and parsley. I have never had this combination before and I have to say, man that was good!
I will say if I am ever in the area and looking for a good, decently quick somehow «Brazilian» meal, I am going to stop again.

A bit on the «trendy» side, but the service here is above par for establishments with a similar aesthetic.
Really nice sized sized portions and decently delicious for the price; you can’t find a steak+sides anywhere else in town for 7 – 13 bucks, let’s be real!

I went here on a recommendation with my friend. It wasn’t great. The service was very friendly, the décor was nice and the restaurant was clean. But I likely won’t be back because I have other options for similar quick food (Chipotle, Italio, etc.).
I ordered the Shrimp Moqueca with a side salad and grilled veggies. The salad and veggies were actually quite tasty. The shrimp tasted like it was frozen. It had a fishy taste. Just not good.
My friend ordered a steak. Now, inserting my opinion here. I personally would not order a steak at a fast food-​type restaurant because I wouldn’t expect the quality to be great. But that’s me. He said it was tough. Imagine that.
Overall, we just weren’t impressed. I may give it another go at some point and try something else. Just not anytime soon.

For a reasonably priced, minimal service restaurant, we were very pleasantly surprised. The help was super accommodating, the food was fresh, made to order and delicious! Our party had; chicken rib app with Giraffa Sauce, a chicken, salmon and steak entrée.
Everything was prepared very well and we were offered as many sauce an dressing options as we liked. Everything was super yummy. We will definitely be back!

I had heard mixed reviews about this place so I was interested in trying it. I had the arugula salad with quinoa and grilled chicken — i was expecting it to be OK, but it was actually really delicious. I got the passion fruit dressing which was super sweet and tasted great! We also sampled the steak, beef stroganoff, grilled veggies and their mashed potatoes — all really good! I got the peanut butter dessert that came with ice cream-​mmm. Friendly staff and the manager was walking around to make sure everyone was good — he also gave us coupons for next time. I’ll be back!

Well… for fast food I was impressed… so impressed that I’m writing this review within an hour of actually eating here!
I walked in at about 11:30am on a weekday for lunch. Other reviews had lead me to believe that service was/​is an issue here and I was trying to avoid that, plus long lines, plus the fact that this all restaurant plaza does not have enough parking spots for the lunch crowds — seriously when I left I think about 5 cars tried to hit me while fighting for my parking spot.
So 11:30am — place was empty. One diner, and one group outside. Perfect. First thing I noticed was how clean it looked. They had just finished mopping the floor which helped, but the overall cleanliness of the place could not be overlooked.
I came here specifically wanting some sort of meat and veggie plate, so I went ahead and ordered the 10oz Picanha steak. This came with 3 sides!, so I went with a side salad (and passion fruit dressing), quinoa and grilled veggies. Total $ 10.50.
*The steak — flavorful and I was overall impressed. It looked a little smaller than 10oz to me, and came out more well done than the medium I had asked for, but remember this is fast food people, no complaints. I did select the butter dipping sauce, it wasn’t necessary for the steak but was good none the less.
*The quinoa — this is my biggest complaint. It was cold which I wasn’t expecting, and had a little too much of some flavor on it — maybe lemon, and I do like lemon, but this was a bit much.
*The grilled veggies — nice mix of zucchini, onions and tomatoes. Nothing phenomenal, but not bad at all.
*The side salad — again nothing special, however I do want that passion fruit salad dressing on everything!
As far as service I have no complaints. Despite the beeper/​pager on my table my food was brought straight out to me before it even went off. My plate was cleared as soon as I was done and everyone seemed pretty friendly.
Although $ 10 isn’t an economical choice for lunch all the time, I could see myself grabbing another plate here sometime in the near future. Again this is a fast food place, I wouldn’t bring a date here for dinner.
