Framework has framed a number of items for me, always beautifully and in good taste. But yesterday the store really exceeded expectations. I walked in with a framed painting and a picture light. They happily installed the light — while I waited — and the charge was totally reasonable. They made the whole process so easy I just ordered another light for a second painting.

A friendly shop that provides, you guessed it, custom frames. They’ll guide you through the selection steps if you’re a novice framer (I sure was), then they’ll measure, matte, and call you when it’s ready for pick-​up. Glass choices include «conservation clear» and «museum glass» as well as Plexiglas (perfect for framing and preserving your kids’ artwork without the hazards of real glass) and there are tons of frame sizes, colors, types and textures to choose from.
