Downtown Cigar Bar

Relax atmosphere, music and tvs. Helpful staff for newbies. Wanted to always try cigar bar. I tried Drew Estate Java, it has a hint of chocolate. Experience was great. Free parking.

Came in like a total nube looking to buy cigars to take home. Ozzy the owner was super helpful and friendly. Very chill guy, awesome place. The cigars he picked out for us were great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting ft.laud.

Andrea is the best barista in the business… the cigars the service the conversation was what I needed on a rainy day. the atmosphere is awsome because it is not too busy but just busy enough to be my new cigar spot.

Great little place. Nice wine selection, excellent premium cigars. Comfortable seating, and warm staff. After my husband and I went on the river cruise (for me), we did something for him. This was a short walk over the bridge through what seemed like a sketchy area, but ended up not being so bad. Next door to Publix.

One of South Florida’s best cigar lounges. Not only do they have a fantastic selection of hard-​to-​find cigars, they also have a spectacular bar and a very comfortable lounge. The staff is incredibly friendly and the place is very clean and well designed. Definitely a go-​to place for true cigar lovers.

I went to visit Ozzie the owner of the Downtown Cigar bar and was blown away. I spend my time in the finest cigar shops of New York City, Chicago, Tampa Florida and Miami and I must say that Ozzie blew my mind. The atmosphere is spectacular, his bar is one of the most well-​stocked bars i’ve ever seen. The humidor is chock-​full of the most sought after cigars one can find. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale it’s a must I can’t wait to go back.

Great bar with plenty of good liquor. Ended up getting a drink of black label with a tasty cigar on the side. For the most part place is relaxing bartenders are polite and friendly, they have great ventilation system so there isn’t to much smoke floating around. Definitely had a wonderful time need more cigar bars around.

There isn’t enough I can say about what a great time my fiancée and I had. We were in from Chicago and got great whiskey at a good price, smoked some incredible cigars, met awesome people, and to top it off we stopped in during a poker night for additional fun. It was incredibly relaxing to sit in the nice leather chairs and shoot the bull with the owner (extremely nice guy) and a few locals that were all too kind. Found out about some other local spots too. I actually might plan an entire trip back to Fort Lauderdale just to come back here.

Downtown Cigar Bar is truly a very nice and cozy place to smoke and drink. It gives you a speak easy feel with a modern touch and décor. A beautiful bar with plenty of seating and lounge chairs, as well as high top tables. Flat screen TVs on the walls a must for any cigar lounge, yet Downtown Cigar Bar stands on its own without the usual hustle and bustle of the Las Olas weekend crowd. Of course, the most important thing is always the Cigars and Downtown Cigars has a wonderfully balanced selection for all tastes. The crowd is friendly and the owners know their cigars. Place features full liguor. Nice place to kick it up a notch without breaking the bank.

My go to cigar lounge in Fort Lauderdale. Love this place. Great prices, selection and very comfortable seating. For big screen TVs. Watched the Cardinal/​Cubs game the other night. Owner is so friendly and personable. Only 10 minutes back to the airport do always stop there before leaving.

Great place in a great space. We threw our friend a surprise birthday gathering last Saturday there and it went perfectly. Nice humidor with a great selection. Varied selection of wine and beers and ohh that Cuban expresso. YUM YUM. We were 25 people and the place still had plenty of room. Very nice job to the owners. BTW your female bartender that evening, was fantastic.

Stopped by for an afternoon cigar and drink. What a great place, and a much needed addition to this neighborhood. They were adding outdoor speakers while there and you can tell they have taken great care in making it a comfy atmosphere. Back again now and feels like home so got a box.

Downtown Cigar Bar is truly as good as it gets! I’ve been waiting to find a cigar bar like this, and here it is, right in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
First off — the cigars! The walk in humidor is the star of the show, and the owner Ozzie will take you in and help you pick out a cigar of your own. I told him my preference for sweet, and after a few more questions he selected the most delicious chocolate cigar (don’t knock it til you try it).
He also has beers on tap, and not just your run of the mill Bud, Ozzie has a great selection that even beer snobs will enjoy.
TVs everywhere. Leather couches. And a sick DOMINO table! Everyone knows that cigars and dominos go together like arroz y frijoles, aka rice and beans for you non Cubanos.
This place is well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Who knew, that in the heart of downtown Ft. Laudedale, there was an oasis for cigar aficionados like myself? I stopped in here to attend a cigar event and was impressed with how well the owners have transformed the lounge into a welcoming environment.
Sporting a modern décor with a classic feel, this shop offers a place to relax and unwind from your long day. The humidor is stocked with well known brands and boutique blends alike. There are large leather chairs in which you can lounge while you enjoy your cigar. Domino tables are always ready for a game, and large panel televisions adorn the walls for those sports fans. If you get thirsty, the lounge has a beer and wine bar. A healthy selection of seasonal brews and wine by the glass or the bottle is available.
The lounge features a double air filtration and extraction system which keeps the environment near smoke free. (Anybody that tells you they can remove all the smoke from a cigar bar suffers from Pinncochio syndrome…) The long bar and friendly environment encourage you to put your social media devices down and engage in actual conversation with others. For that, I thank Ozzie Gomez and his superb team.
The location is bit difficult to find. If you’re driving south on Andrews Blvd, once you go past the large Publix on 6^th, keep a lookout for the one story retail spaces just south of it. Parking is conveniently located in the rear of the store.
I’ll be stopping by every once in a while to keep tabs and have relaxing smoke before heading into South Florida traffic. Lord knows it’ll do wonders for my stress levels…

A great place to unwind with friends, had a nice glass of Greg Norman Pinot Noir, while listening to Miles Davis and admiring the beautiful décor, Ozzie the owner is great, such a gentleman. Well worth a visit!

I’ve been waiting for a Cigar Bar like this to open up. Very trendy and modern, yet a relaxed atmosphere. Cold beer on tap or in bottles, and a beautiful walk-​in humidor to keep the great selection of sticks at the right temp. Nice place to sit inside and watch tv or sit outside and people watch while enjoying a cold one and a good stick. Ozzie, the owner, is always ready to get you another beer or suggest a good smoke. Love the look of the place, and it’s a short walk to/​from Riverfront if you want to keep the party going.
