Ein schönes Motel, mit Zimmern bzw. Appartements in verschiedenen Größen.

Clean, great location(10 mins walk to the marina and the strip, 5 min cab to down town) and the kitchenettes have all the pots, pans, plates, microwave toaster etc to make them fully functional. Obviously theres also a nice pool and laundry facilities handy. Angela the owner/manager is very friendly always happy to help out with questions about the area or restaurants to visit etc. I was forced to stay elsewhere for a couple of nights due to high occupancy at birch patio and all i will say is the experience just reaffirmed what a great deal this place is. Great weekly rates too if your in for the long haul. Very highly recommended!

A clean comfortable place to relax. Nothing fancy. The beach is only two blocks away. I am very pleased with my stay.

Excellent small motel with a heated pool. Nice and quiet and easy walk to the beach and restaurants and bars. We cooked in the kitchen and really enjoyed hanging out by the pool.

Clean 60’s vintage apartment type motel(rooms have fridges, coffee makers, toaster and and microwave) — very dated, tired rooms, but you can’t beat the price and location — 2 blocks from the beach just south of Sunrise Blvd. This and the Napoli-Belmar are owned by the same family and are side by side. I chose a room farthest away from the pool since I hate kids running around in front of my door and don’t like to step out of my room right into the midst of a group of people on lounge chairs kibitzing which is typical of the pool side rooms. This place seems to cater to long term vacationers, some with kids, from French Canada. I stayed here wtice — last year got a much bigger room for the same price — this year I had to take a small room. Would go again — its cheap, clean and well located. If you plan to spend your vacation at the hotel I’d upgrade to something more modern with all the amenities but if you just need a place to sleep its great.

The Birch Patio Motel is located only a couple of blocks from the beach, so it’s in a quiet area. It’s a bit more further north from all the bustling beaches and restaurants. We felt completely safe walking around from the beach to the motel. I contacted Angela directly on the phone and through email. We only needed a room for one night after our cruise and mentioned we would be arriving rather early. She mentioned that we could leave our luggage there if the room wasn’t ready yet. We arrived around 10:30 am and our standard room($ 65/night) was ready! It had two double beds, a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. They also offered free WiFi, you just need to get the password from Angela. She even offered her laptop if we needed to check in for our flights. We were interested in doing an everglades tour and Angela called the company herself to see if they had any openings left. She also suggested bus routes and water taxi options when we told her what restaurants we were interested in going to. Overall, the place was very clean, simple and basic. There were ample towels provided, but no shampoo. It’s a nice alternative than staying on the beach in one of those expensive hotels. When we checked out around 11 am, we had to walk a couple of blocks to hail a cab. I’m sure we could have called for one.
