Benz Bistro

Benz Bistro as they call it isn’t really a bistro at all. It’s sort of an afterthought coffee and snack shop located within the MercedesBenz of Ft. Lauderdale automobile dealership. Matter of fact, to call it a bistro is rather pathetic. What it really is, is a coffee and snack shop for dealership customers. You’d think they would have somehow combined it with the customers lounge, but they didn’t. Instead, it is about four high tables next to main desk of Parts Department.
They have some Danish, cupcakes, a bowl of bananas (I bought on for 50 cents), two of those pump urn arrangements for free customer coffee, and not much else.
I’ve given it two stars since it’s certainly better than what BMW of Fort Lauderdale has to offer in its customer lounge but far behind that of JM Lexus.
If they had merely referred to this as a customer lounge I wouldn’t have written anything about it, but when they purport it as a «bistro,» that to me makes it food and service reviewable.
