SUPER LATE, a.k.a. by 6 months… heh.
Not at all what I expected. Granted, I had driven by a couple times, but «The Lodge» evokes ideas of a warm cabin maybe with comfort food…
It was open late, and craving snacks, we adventured here only to discover that it was more like a sports bar. There were quite a few televisions, so if you’re looking to watch one, you can find one here!
The drinks and food were tasty, thought he music was a little too loud to hold a proper conversation. I feel like a granny saying this, but give me a late night diner or a quiet dive bar any day (or night).

As of 1-​22-​2016 the Lodge is now CLOSED. The business is being sold– which is a shame– was a nice place with good food. Guy Fieri did an episode of DD&D there

This restaurant is not worth it. The customer service was extremely poor along with the length of service. The restaurant was somewhat empty and we had to sit there for over an hour until we got our food. Our waitress was not even diligent with our drinks. I understand being short staffed, but tell your customers that and apologize for that instead of making your patrons suffer. I do not recommend this place. When we mentioned we were going to write a bad review the managers response was, «well that seems silly.» Real professional.

Had the Johnsonville Brat and a beer — great service, great food and great space. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

There are many, MANY restaurants in Fort Collins to choose from, and this one should not be on your list of «must try» places. Our food came out after an eternity of waiting, and was not very warm. None of the burgers were cooked to order (though they still tasted decent), the grilled chicken sandwich was just a few thinly pounded slices of meat grilled to a char with a bun so soggy that I couldn’t pick it up, the macaroni and cheese was not cheesy or creamy, and a bowl of soup we ordered never bothered to show up, even after we told a server about it. The service was extremely slow, and when a waiter (not ours) showed up to our table with drinks and food (45 minutes after we ordered), we asked him for silverware, napkins, ketchup and mustard, refills on the kids drinks, and told him about the soup that was missing… and he seemed bothered and rudely asked «Well, who is your waiter?»…as though we shouldn’t be asking HIM for these items even though he was the one who brought us our food. At one point, someone in our party had to get up and go hunt down napkins after we waited for 10 minutes and still didn’t have any.
The whole experience was disappointing, especially since we were out to celebrate a birthday. We spoke with the manager, who was nice and apologetic, and made it right, so she is the only reason I’m giving this place a star.

The «bartenders» were pretty dismissive to our group last night. Maybe an off day, but we didn’t feel very welcome.

It’s closed now. Happened a couple weeks ago. I’m a Fort Collins resident and had been there a couple times. Good food. A shame that it closed. They were behind in owed state sales taxes.
It’s back open! Not sure when it happened. Go there, the food is good.

Have to say we were disappointed. The burger was ok. The bun top was to big and was better to take it off so you could taste the burger The fried chicken was ok. The Cole slaw was bland and the biscuit was hard. The fried chicken was good. The bologna sandwich was tasty if you took off the top bun. Way to much bun for such a little sandwich Should add more bologna to make it worth the money. Not sure why Diners, Drive Ins and Dives went there. Would not go back

Excellent local beer tap selection, excellent service-​burger was very tasty and a little on the well done side for my likes. They keep a brisk business!

Awesome place with unbelievable ambience & décor! Great burgers too, with a MN nod on the menu of a Juicy Lucy!

This place is great! The menu is quite unique, and everything I’ve tried has been very good. I like the rustic atmosphere, and the parking is easy. Park in the garage and you can just cross the alley and enter through the back. The staff has always been very friendly as well.

Really delicious ceasar salad with smoked salmon! Buffalo chicken sandwich was tasty as well. Games like pool and giant jenga upstairs with comfy seating.

Great ram fries but I’ll pass on the $ 9.99 wings since they looked like they came off a Cornish hen, and we’re over cooked.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for two months, and it’s a testament to the outstanding service and food I received that my experience is still on my mind.
First of all, the hostess, server, and bartender were all exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Our server, Shane, was witty, kind, and efficient.
The draft selection was eclectic and local, and I was given a sample of beer readily which is a huge deal to me.
Our food was spectacular. I had a cup of tortilla soup and an LSK burger which was cooked perfectly. Drinks, atmosphere, and service were top notch. I’ve been recommending The Lodge to all of my friends and can’t wait to go back!

On a busy holiday weekend this spot was not busy and didn’t understand how; the food was delicious, fresh and had great presentation. Not to mention $ 3 bloody Mary’s and brunch drink specials.
The wilderness feel of the restaurant with woods, flannel and cabin décor was very cool. Plus with the feature on Diners, drive-in’s and Dives they have a special burger that we were not able to try but sounds great

Just happened to walk by and stopped in for lunch. Cool place with a fun atmosphere! The best part was the service from Shane, our server. He was amazing and gave some of the best, friendliest service we’ve ever had. Food was good as well, so we’ll be back next time we’re in town.

This place is fun! We stopped by after a New Belgium tour and were in dire need of some food — we have heard good things from friends about this place. The décor is fun and interesting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive! The happy hour beers are a pretty good price — local craft brews for $ 3.
The best part — the burger + beer for $ 6 deal. The burgers were great and you really can’t beat that price!
I’ve only been here twice — once for food and once for a quick beer. I’ve had a good experience both times and would recommend this place to my friends as a casual place to grab a quick and cheap dinner. It seems like a good place for families as well, as there were many big groups with kids when we were there.
To sum it up: pretty good food, great beers, awesome service.

This is my «go to» when hitting old town. i absolutely LOVE their take on a Moscow Mule and their «Lumberjack» cocktail. Their food is delicious as well! I usually go with the chicken nachos (you better have a buddy to share them with!) or a burger. Their sweet potato fries are amazing!

We decided to randomly try this place out for lunch in Fort Collins yesterday, the quirky theme and interesting wood décor brought us in. Everything from the bar counter to the ceiling is built with wood. I really enjoyed this, it gave the place a cozy wood cabin vibe.
The food is a mix of very meaty foods and some good vegetarian options. I ordered a ceasar salad and a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was SO good, my favorite part of my meal! I went with my boyfriend Ben who got a burger, and enjoyed his food as well. Only complaint he had was the ketchup tasted funky, but when I asked our waiter why it tasted a little «different» he told us all their sauces are made in house, which is impressive. I actually like their ketchup, but Ben is used to the artificial super sugary version of Heinz ketchup, so I think he was missing that familiar taste for his waffle fries. I would go back, food was good quality and the menu had a nice mix of unhealthy grub and some healthier options — and staff was very friendly and attentive.
