Super friendly staff, real good Philly cheesesteak, what more can you ask for? This is definitely a place I’d come again, next time visiting Ft Collins.

RUDE staff! As a Fort Collins native I have come here on and off for years, and never have had a pleasant experience with the staff. The teens at the counter sit on their phones the whole time and barely give you the time of day. Their sandwiches are good and I like that they deliver but I am always hesitant to return because of their horrible customer service.

Took a chance on this place while we were visiting Ft Collins. Went back a 2nd time since we loved the Original. We’re from the east coast and this is authentic. Great taste and good price. Kitchen was slow the first time when it was VERY crowded but worth the wait. Next time we’re in town we’ll be back.

Love this place! I live in North Fort Collins, so not a lot of restaurants deliver out my way. I discovered Taste Of Philly does, and that’s why I ordered it to begin with. My stepfather is from New Jersey so I have had the authentic East Coast cheesesteaks, and I still really liked taste of philly! You have to order it with cheese whiz though, or it isn’t nearly as good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one time the delivery took over an hour when she told me 45 minutes on the phone.

The price is cheap so the place is reasonable. The food is pretty greasy low quality stuff though. The staff has been nice whenever I’ve gone.

Pricey. Also, are the employees imported from Philly? Attitude was sadly more authentic than the cheesesteak.

I like the cheesesteaks but they are not too authentic. Delivery times the last two times were ridiculous. The parking lot is tiny so you have to be a good driver to get in and out of there without hitting anything. It’s a fair price and the people are friendly and I would say the place itself to eat inside is clean.

Good cheesesteak reminds me of the East Coast right down to the cheese sauce coleslaw wasn’t the best but I’ll let it slide all and all good menu good prices classic East Coast fare

I have ordered from the taste a few times, but tonight was terrible. I ordered a sub and some potato salad. My order arrived after an hour and 20 minutes. I got a half assed apology about the time it took. I have ordered at the restaurant and it has never taken more than 10 minutes for my order to be made. Once I look in the bag, my large order of potato salad was less than half full. That is just disappointment on top of disappointment. Not sure I will be ordering from these guys again.

Cheesesteaks were average, bread was average, seasoning ok. The beef had quite a bit of grissle. Delivery was fast, convenient and food was HOT. Still, the food was just par and not really worth the price.

Yum! Fort Collins doesn’t have a ton of culinary options but this place is the bomb! It’s affordable and they aren’t stingy with the meat! The portions are out of control for the money! The meat is seasoned and the mushrooms are REAL. Not canned. Yum Yum. The bread is awesome. a little too awesome. soaked up all the juice from the meat! Awesome sandwich. I’m happy! Yay! Feed me!

I’ve had a lot of cheesesteaks from everywhere. One of My top three is here in Fort Collins and that includes living on the east coast for 6 years and eating at Gino’s in Philly. It even rivals the cheesesteak you get in Yankee stadium during a game. Good view of college ave and everything going on, always friendly staff and the price is right

I’ve eaten in the restaurant or had takeout a few times, and have been reasonably pleased with the sandwich. The bread is great and filling ingredients seem to be of good quality. The delivery, however, is of substantially worse quality. I’ve ordered(or should I say, attempted to order) delivery on several occasions. On two(non-consecutive) occasions, I was put immediately on hold, and then proceeded to hold for 5 minutes before I hung up without speaking to anyone(beyond«Taste of Philly, please hold»). It only got worse today when I was finally able to place an order. I ordered at 11:58am(which I know as they write the time on the ticket) and was told the wait was 45 – 60 minutes. After waiting 90 minutes, I called to ask the status of my order. Before I could give my name, the woman on the phone informed me «I guarantee it will be late». I explained I had waited 90 minutes, and she told me that was not at all unexpected. I asked if she could estimate how late I could expect the delivery to be, to which she again said 90 minutes is not at all unexpected. The food finally arrived(one sandwich, by the way, not a large order), one hour and 46 minutes after I placed it, almost double the quoted time. The delivery guy apologized that the order was so late, an apology I gather he is accustomed to making. If you eat in, you’ll be fine. If you want delivery, I hope you have a snack prepared as who knows when your order will arrive.

A few things about Taste of Philly… –It’s probably the only place I’ve ever been that serves up better sandwiches by delivery than in the actual shop. The couple of times I’ve been by the Old Town location my sandwich was falling apart as I tried to consume it. Every time I have delivery it’s astounding. It’s like it needs that time being wrapped up for all the deliciousness to combine perfectly. –They are damned good Phillies. While I think Cheez Whiz is an abomination not worthy of being called«food» and American cheese is an insult to both my country and my favorite dairy product I do love me some great bread, perfectly-seasoned and cooked steak and Provolone. Veggies as I feel like them make great additions, but it’s an epic sandwich to start, and I often go with just the basics. Oh yeah and they are huge. Just try the regular first. It’ll probably be enough. Maybe more than enough. –I’ve had similar experiences to other Unilocalers with calling and having trouble making sure my order was correct & understood, but recently delivery has been excellent, up to and including the lovely woman who took my order this evening. She was incredibly pleasant, extraordinarily polite, I could actually hear her(problems in the past have been largely due to background noise), she empathized over my cheese switch and my financial crunch… it was truly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. –Delivery DOES take forever. Sigh. An hour later, I am still waiting. But I bet it will still be hot, and good. They DO tell you«45 minutes to an hour» on the phone though, the roads are terrible tonight and I bet I am not the only one who thought delivery from Taste of Philly sounded substantially better than venturing out into the icy darkness. Have a little humanity, folks. –While there are unsavory types everywhere, I’ve yet to encounter any drunks, stoners or hooligans otherwise at Taste of Philly. My delivery experience has always been pleasant and professional. Employees are always warm and polite the couple of times I’ve gone into the Old Town location.

I love the Philly’s here! Plus I love the fries! Plus the people who work there are all pretty awesome!!! I have been to a number of different Taste of Philly’s and this is definitely the best one. For some reason the other one’s meat seems to be dried out, but this place is always much more juicy!!! I love to get the mushroom Philly, with onions, and cheese whiz!!! It is amazing! I get a small one, cause it is definitely enough to fill me up(and I’m a big guy, who eats a lot!)… They deliver as well, so if ya need a Philly, that tastes as good as a Philly in Philly, then this is your place!!!

I’ve ordered from here in person and off (order up). Last time I ordered, I placed an order online. After placing the order and waiting two hours I called and asked when I could expect my phillies. The man who answered the phone told me they didn’t have a delivery driver working(this was on a friday night). I asked what they had done with my order and why I was able to order online if they were not delivering. The man was not only clueless but rude and told me it was my fault. I’ll never order here again. The phillies are alright, but the service was awful. The man didn’t even apologize. I’ve heard from a friend who knows people that work there that they drink and party on the job. Makes sense why their delivery driver can’t make deliveries.

I don’t know about this place. I usually am wary about places when I walk in and everyone looks at me like I’m some weird attraction. I mean from the counter girl staring at me quizzically while I politely ordered my food and the college aged cooks giving me queer looks as well, I was a little confused. Whatever. Meh. i should have known something was amiss when my order«The Works» with a side of fries took less that 4 minutes to be ready to go, but I was so put off by the atmosphere that I just wanted to get my food to the car and munch. COLD, chalky fries, a waste of 3 bucks. Attempted to eat them on the car ride home, but ended up tossing them out. Cheesesteak was okay, most of the innards were in the wrapper when I opened it, rather than between the bread. I’ve had better. Didn’t satisfy the craving that I was having for a cheesesteak, but I now I know.

I would give zero stars if it were an option. The last two times I have ordered food it has taken over and hour and a half to get to me and I live less than a mile away. The first time this happened the driver apparently couldn’t find the house, when I called to ask about my order the girl on the phone told me he was here a while ago but no one answered the door. Thanks for letting me know… Because I like the food I gave them a second chance tonight and my order was over an hour late and the food was stone cold, the cheese had even hardened back up. At this point I’m done with taste of Philly in Fort Collins until they get better staff, I’m sure that wont take long.

As a vegetarian, I am writing a relatively biased review. As my rating implies, I have DEFINITELY had better than this place. But I am not speaking simply from my experience. A few of us went to this joint a few weekends ago. My husband and a few others ordered Hoagies. Naturally, I ordered the only veggie option on the menu. The food was cold and bland. It took a heavy dousing of Chalula to get any flavor from our sandwiches. As someone who enjoys flavorful food, I was a little upset that I paid 7 dollars for a very mediocre sandwich. Truly, I don’t think my husband and I will be going back.
