Freedom’s Edge Brewing is tiny but delicious, and shouldn’t be missed if you’re in Old Town and looking for some amazing craft beer. We stopped in recently for a taster tray and loved all the beers. The chili beer they were pouring was easily the best chili beer we’ve ever had, making fans even out of people who claim not to like this style of beer. This is a family-run place, and they’re very friendly and always willing to chat you up about the history of the place, their other location in Wyoming, and anything else you want to know. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious brews will make this a must-visit spot whenever we’re in Fort Collins.

This place is amazing. Came in on a Friday and the owners talked to us for over an hour. The beer was fabulous and the atmosphere was even better. Do yourself a favor and go here. A wonderful brewery in the heart of Ft Collins

Awesome little brewery located in Old Town Ft Collins. Went here the day after Christmas after trying a couple other breweries in the area. FE had the best beers overall. Not one beer that I wouldn’t drink a full pint of — we split a flight… all were delicious! Thanks Freedoms Edge!

A really cool, well decorated little brewery in Old Town Ft. Collins! Freedom’s Edge Brewery had plenty of indoor seating, lots of cool artwork on the walls to gaze at, and great service! The best part was the well put-together beers on tap — whether you LOVE beer or are completely indifferent to it, you will find something to enjoy at Freedom’s Edge. I especially enjoyed the pale ale/wheat hybrid. Definitely a cool place to go and enjoy a delicious drink!

Freedoms Edge first opened in Cheyenne, WY and now has a 2nd location in Fort Collins. They typically have 8 to 10 beers on tap. Brewing on a 3 bbl system they are producing very tasty brews. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they have some«out of the box» brews like chili beer. I personally like their IPA which isn’t a «West Coast Style Hop Bomb», but more along a more traditional English IPA. They have a small outside seating area out front good for people watching. The tasting room is tastefully decorated and includes a copper topped bar. Well worth visiting. I will be back.

The chili beer is interesting and would make a good food pairing but I don’t think I could drink a pint of it. It shows these guys are thinking outside the box, so I look forward to seeing what they do next. Nice to have more microbreweries opening up downtown.

Great atmosphere, both inside and on the patio, to sit with friends & discover new beers. We samples the 10-beer flight and my favorites were: gluten reduced blonde, vanilla porter, and lemon hefe.

AWESOME beers here. I am not an IPA fan, but theirs just might turn me. Also, don’t miss the chili beer… it’d go perfect with tacos and is now making my mouth water. No food here yet, but I hear they are working on it, and they let you bring in your own stuff for now. Glad they finally opened a CO location so I don’t have to drive up to Cheyenne when I crave this place!
