I just finished eating my food about 2 minutes ago… Eating is an over reach. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken and it tasted horrible. The chicken tasted sour for some reason and was just gross. It was so bad it grossed me out and i threw it away. Also ordered spring rolls and they tasted old. The Lo Mein was super bland… It was the only thing that was passable… Plus I waited over an hour for it to be delivered. First and last time I eat here!

Don’t order from here and they’ll take the money out of the bank and will not deliver your food I had called an hour after ordering and they said it was on its way after two-and-a-half orders called back and they said they could not find my order I have done this on Unilocal and I also had the money taken out of the bank already all they could do is say I’m sorry I’m sorry what a pitiful way to do business. Since the funds were already taking from the bank and if it this really was true they could not see my order how is the money taken out and to make things worse they didn’t even offer to make things right pathetic pathetic pathetic

I had a problem with my order. T I’m pretty sure it was Eat24s problem. Anyway, the delivery guy felt awful but he did NOTHING wrong. He was great. I will call the restaurant from now on. I am a little skeptic about this new food delivery app. I think I will give it a couple more tries and then decide. As far as Empire Palace is concerned, we were happy! And we will go back!

Their food is always disappointing, but tonight was the last straw for me to never chose them again. I ordered soup and chicken at 11:15pm. I called them an hour later and was told it was on it’s way, then again half an hour after that. Turns out that the delivery driver gave my food to someone completely random. But he continued to claim it was the correct apartment number. They tried to make it better by offering a remake, but it was 1am at this point. I’m tired and hungry. They gave me a full refund. So I’m just where I started at 11:15pm. Huge waste of time and no food!

I was curious why this place was rated so low, so I opened it up to check the reviews, and am glad I did! Looks like most people thought their food was good but were rating poorly because of slow delivery service. I solved that by ordering take out and was very happy with the experience. They quoted me 25 minutes but the food was ready in about 15 – 17 minutes. The BBQ Pork Buns were really good, and I normally am not a big fan of them. I also ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which was very tasty and very filling and the shrimp were a really good size. The Sesame Chicken was really good, too, both fresh and reheated. The sauce was really tasty! For $ 25, I got two entrees, one including shrimp, and the pork buns. The prices were very reasonable! The boy waiting on me was really sweet and very friendly. I would definitely eat here again and hope more people give them a try!

I have ordered from here twice and each time the food was delicious. The only time we had to wait was when we ordered on Christmas day. The lady over the phone told me it was going to be a long wait before I even ordered. And it was less of a wait than she quoted. I understood as it was a holiday and they were the only place open. I will keep ordering from them again and again.

Food is decent if it ever gets to you. I waited over 50 mins past my estimated delivery time. I called to see where my food was and someone said its on its way. Waited for another 20 and then they said they never received the order. Maybe it’s their online service but it sucks to have email confirmation of your order and then verbal confirmation but then have someone say something different. In addition, the kid on the phone verbally guaranteed i would get a refund and I still have not. It is December 27th.

This place came highly recommended from a friend of my wife’s. We ordered take out, were told it would take about 20 minutes. We waited in the restaurant, which was pretty filthy and poorly maintained. It was empty except for the owners nice, young 11 year old son who was working there(child labor laws??? not in this restaurant!). He was very polite and nice. We got our food around 20 minutes after ordering it and paid the lady, who seemed to not speak a whole lot of english(or understand much about customer service). She wasn’t rude, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she was to other customers. We got home and the food was ok. It wasn’t amazing and it wasn’t awful. It was just ok. I’d maybe give them one more chance to win me over based on my first experience but I’m not rushing back. Sally’s Kitchen, the restaurant in the gas station has delivered me better Chinese food.

We have ordered from Empire Palace on numerous occasions. The food is delicious – Always! I have read many reviews stating they are slow and how terrible it is to wait so long. Let me just say it is worth the wait! Plan ahead. When the food arrives it is always hot and I have never minded the wait. Money well spent ! Keep up the good work Empire Palace and your drivers are awesome. Always polite and cheerful!

I ordered from EAT24(which I have always had a good experience with) for the convenience– they gave me an hour delivery time. I expected to wait given that it was a Saturday and I have worked in restaurant management. I called 10 mins after my delivery time(of over an hour) and they said it was on the way. I waited 20 mins after that(longer than I should have) and they told me the same thing. 20 minutes later I called(now it’s been two hours since my original order) and they tell me they will call the driver– but I never heard back. The food finally showed up and they offered me $ 6 off the original order of cold, old food I order over 2 hours prior.

Ordered a simple two entrée, one appetizer order via OrderUp. Waited an hour, called to ensure they even had our order. After a short, rude response of, «YEAHOKAYWEGOTIT!» we continued to wait. For two more hours. At this point we started cooking our own food. When the delivery guy finally showed up, we turned him away. I will not order from here again.

This place is the real deal. Having lived for extended periods in NYC amd the Bay Area, I’m a total Chinese food snob. And this food would hold its own in either town– actually, it would hold its own in either town’s Chinatown. I have been waiting SO long for real Chinatown-style Chinese food in Colorado, and here it is!!! Finally!!! The BBQ pork bun was the best I’ve had in a long time, and the Sesame Chicken is divine. The egg drop soup is just right, and the pot stickers are to die for. I hope to try just about everything on this menu at some point. Also, on the service question a few people have raised: that’s all part of the authentic experience, trust me. Just ignore whatever Western notions you have about waitstaff behavior(seriously, go to a Chinatown sometime) and enjoy the cultural experience and yummy yummy food.

WORST experience ordering delivery EVER — no exaggerating. The person who took my order was short and rushed which I can understand with a busy place — but had zero people skills whatsoever and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by wanting to place an order. Then it took TWOAND A HALF hours to get my delivery when I was quoted 45 min to an hour. They never called to tell me it would be late. No apology when I called, just explained they had a new driver. I know it wasn’t the driver’s fault because the driver called me and told me they had somehow sent him to an address in loveland. I had to call and complain and finally they offered me a 5 dollar credit. The food arrived and it was cold and dried out. I called back to complain and they said they would send us fresh food and give us the meal for free. Guess what? The food never came, and on top of that they charged me full price — they didnt even give me the 5 dollar credit. Rude, lying, disorganized restaurant. $ 35 bucks for food for two people and THEWORST experience I have ever had ordering food. The food is your average, typical chinese food. Nothing special. Next time I’ll go to China Wok — they don’t deliver but at least their food is always on point.

My honest opinion of Empire Palace? It’s garbage. I was so excited to see they have dim sum, and it’s mediocre at best. They do have soup dumplings, but again mediocre at best. This place takes forever to deliver(hour to two hour wait), and the food is awful. Fort Collins chinese take-out is pretty terrible to begin with, so to say this place is bad speaks volumes. I’ve had several things off of the menu and they were all terrible. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else. I will never order from here again. A big thumbs down!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered food for delivery tonight, my mistake. Ordered a steamed pork ball thing, «seafood» delight, and my husband got twice cooked pork and fried rice. Ok Empire Palace your first strike was phone etiquette. The woman on the phone was very short with me. Second strike: the food. My god people! I wouldnt feed that crap to my dog. The pork ball could have been good if the pork inside wasn’t only the leftover fatty pieces. My husbands twice cooked pork smelled like canned dog food, had no flavor, and had the consistency of soaked beef jerky. Third strike: my husband didn’t get his fried rice. You guys sent us 2 boxes of jasmine rice. Normally I could blow this off but since the fried rice is my husbands favorite part he decided to call. The same foul woman who took my order proceeded to YELL at my husband that she was going to charge him 3 dollars for the fried rice we already paid an extra $ 1.50 for. Woman I don’t know who you think you are, but I work with customers everyday too and those people pay my paycheck and deserve some slight respect. You must have been having an awful day and now I hope your week continues that
