I’m typically a Starbucks girl, but sometimes I need more variety in the menu than Starbucks offers. Yesterday my daughter and I met up with friends at this Dazbog and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure why I had low expectations, but they exceeded then for sure with good service and two delicious coffee drinks. Dazbog offers a large selection of specialty lattes if that’s your thing(it is mine!). Also many more sugar-free options than most coffee joints. I had a sugar-free Almond Coco-Mocho(?) made with almond milk. It was fantastic. My daughter ordered some frozen coffee drink & my sip of that was good, too. Seating is somewhat limited, but there is a small private room that looks to accommodate about 6 – 7 people. Good for a small group of friends or book club.

My wife is a Starbucks junkie. I’ve been dragged to many of them across the city and country. Maybe it’s the cult, maybe it’s the coffee, Starbucks is not for me. Full disclosure, when it comes to coffee in general, I can usually take it or leave it. However, when that occasional coffee graving does sneak in… I want to come here.

The initial issue was that I had accidentally added something other than half and half to my drink because the carafe was unmarked. I mentioned this to the barista and she reached into the refrigerator and placed it on the counter. However, I had already poured the soy into my cup and so I asked her to make a fresh drink. This is where things went a bit sideways. The barista expressed her annoyance with me and started to make a second drink, but she also clearly made a point to make me wait for the drink. It is also worth noting that my friend also mentioned that barista had been rude to me. Honestly, it wasn’t a huge deal, but I did take the time to send an email to Dazbog to share my concerns because I thought the feedback would be useful. I received an email from the store owner roughly three weeks later. To be fair, she did apologize for the late response. However, she made the relatively bizarre claim that I had asked the barista to make a third drink because she had poured too much coffee from the second drink after I had asked for room for cream.
I’ve read the email from the owner several times and I’m always struck by the heavy-handedness of the owner’s response to me and that a significant amount of space in the email was intended to marginalizing my concerns. For example, complaining to me that she had to «absorb the cost of 2 additional drinks» and that I needed to «accept responsibility» for my actions when I had simply asked them to remake a drink. In the end, the complaint is really about the owner’s response to me. Perhaps she should consider taking cues from Starbucks.

Ordered iced coffee. They poured hot coffee over ice. It was terrible. How hard is it to brew a pot of coffee and keep it in the fridge? Maybe their hot coffee is good, but when it’s 90 degrees outside, don’t go here for iced coffee.

Good ass coffee. Non-traditional drinks with lots of options and they’re always running some kind of special on their drinks. The staff is always very nice and professional and I don’t know what people are smoking, but it should definitely only be one dollar sign on the price, you can definitely get two good special drinks for less than $ 10.

I think I’m a convert! I love Ziggi’s, and I visit Starbucks a lot, but I’ve shied away from Dazbog due to a bad experience with a work-brewed pot a few years ago(I hate the flavor of burned coffee…) I stopped in to this shop at Front Range Village and was welcomed immediately by the students working at the front. The barista chatted with me for a few as I’d never been in one of their shops before and made recommendations happily. I really liked my White Rabbit — a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut syrup. The price point was better than Starbucks and on par with Ziggi’s. The shop itself is comfy and warm with wood floors, comfy chairs, plenty of parking and casual pop music. I’ll visit the Northglenn shop without hesitation now — and I’ll come back to Front Range Village the next time I’m in Fort Collins!

The coffee and tea drinks are great. They have delicious snacks. The outdoor seating looks nice when the weather allows for it. It is a very very noisy store so don’t come here to focus unless you can snag the small private room. Also, their Wifi is awful. I kept getting disconnected while here. I wouldn’t come back to work or study if I needed Internet access.

The owner was rude to my wife, and then indignant about the incident. We used to frequent this place, but no longer.

I don’t come here much since I’m usually located on or around CSU, but occasionally when I find myself around Harmony I try to stop over by Dazbog and all the other cool shops in that plaza. I like that they have daily specials, though I think I always manage to come in on a Wednesday when they have 10% off whatever their featured drink is. Last time I got it, this time I didn’t, it just depends I guess. I like coming here with my laptop to get some work done. The wifi is free, so you just need to get the password from the staff. I do need to mention that the staff here are always very friendly! I’m happy enough when I have someone pleasant who doesn’t really do much aside from take my order, but every time I come here I am greeted emphatically once I approach the counter and asked how my day is going. It’s nice to feel as if they genuinely are interested in how my day is going, so kudos to you guys. Most recently I ordered the blended cookies & cream drink, which is pretty good. It tasted less oreo-y than I envisioned, but I liked it regardless. On sunny days they open up their big garage door for easy access to their outdoor seating. The thing that bothers me would have to be the price. I guess it isn’t any different from Starbucks or other specialty coffee shops, but I hate having to drop $ 5 on a coffee drink. Oh well, it helps ensure that I’m not here every other day.

Free damage in blended drinks on Friday. That is chocolate covered coffee beans blended in the drink. The coffee and service are great with a wide variety is hot and cold drinks. It is conveniently located near several office buildings. On the down side, it is very load and they don’t have anything to dampen the sound. They have two big comfy chairs in the back, but it is nearly impossible to have a conversation without screaming. They don’t take American Express. If it wasn’t so loud and I could carry on a conversation, it could be a 5 star rating in my book.

The location and building are nice, the staff are pretty nice, but the music was WAYTOO loud. I honestly couldn’t hear myself think. Tried to meet clients there for a consultation, and even they mentioned the volume of the music. I’ll stick to Starbucks thanks.

The owner is the rudest man Ive ever met. He kicked me out for not ordering a drink fast enough. It’s sounds like I’m crazy but I’m not, see the review below. I’ll never set foot in this place ever again. The owner is creepy and pretty much a jerk. Can’t support a business like this. Would have loved to since it’s so close to my house.
