Quality service, friendly staff and the most delicious iced coffee I’ve ever had! I come here again and again, especially since they have a punch card – 11th coffee is free!

Been going regularly for 3 years. Service is great and the cinnamon rolls are really good!

Genoa is definitely the best place for coffee and scones on the east side of Ft. Collins. The owners are always friendly and make a great espresso drink. They serve Bluepoint bakery items which has recently become one of my absolute favorites. They have a nice selection of places to sit both inside and out. CONS: They can get busy fast so you might have to wait a bit but they will drop your order off at your table so you don’t have stand right there.

This is one of our favorite places to grab a breakfast burrito and coffee and hang out in the summer time. We visit in the winter as well and always enjoy relaxing. The food is constantly good. Their coffee OK. Their breakfast bakery items are very good. The only issue we have is their operating hours. They are inconsistent when they open on weekends. There have been several times my wife and I have ridden our bikes 5 miles to get their and they’re closed, when the web shows they’re open. They have a poor hours policy and lack a updated web site. They change their homes throughout the year. We stopped going their on Sundays because they open to late…8:00 — 8:30am? Most breakfast places open at 6:30 or 7am. 8 or later is too late for breakfast.

I’m a big Genoa fan. I love the selection of coffee drinks in the morning and wine in the evening. Because, let’s be honest… What else do you need?! The ham breakfast is my favorite and comes with a side of 505 green chili on request. Be forewarned… It’s ginormous. I never have polished off a full one on my own. Half is easily enough! Staff is friendly, atmosphere is quaint, and the chai tastes amazing in a ceramic mug. Just check it out and you won’t be disappointed.

For iced coffee fans this is THE best cold brew coffee in town! Even makes up for the fact that sometimes it’s closed at what seems like weird times.

This is a great mom-pop shop with the best latte in town — carmel latte! They have incredible flourless chocolate cake, tiramisu and great small plate horderves. Perfect location for meeting a client for a quick coffee.

Love the atmosphere on live-music nights! Get the veggie antipasto plate. If it’s not a picture-worthy meal, I don’t know what is!

The new owners have done a great job! The staff is very helpful and remembers me when I arrive. Their menu is fresh and has good simple flavors to choose from. I’m a fan of their atmosphere and it is always clean when I am there. The only reason I haven’t rated Genoa a five is because their location is unfortunately near a road and the patio isn’t as calm as I would like. Obviously a small thought that they can’t change. I’ve been here numerous times for pleasure as well as to perform music. Whether I am playing or students are performing — we are always well received. Our food has always been delicious. Thank you for making our experience memorable. I will be back.

Oh my just went to lunch at Genoa Coffee and Wine, ordered a monte cristo. It was the most awful sandwich ever!!! It was like eating an I hate you sandwich, so disgusting!!! I will never go back. I think they knew the sandwich was bad cause they did not bother to ask«how was your sandwich?» Or thank you for coming. Really bad customer service!

L@@K! Genoa is attractive, clean, friendly and totally WORTHLESS! As a business person I do business on my computer, if a coffeehouse WiFi doesn’t work then I’m done! I just wasted the better portion of a Five Dollar Bill and walked out, I couldn’t stay, Their WiFi has some kink they admit doesn’t work with many computers. Genoa is the kind of place where I like the looks, but I can’t trust it. That’s Bad News for those of us who do not want to gamble 5 bucks. If seeking a coffeehouse, much like seeking any other relationship, you just can’t go by looks alone.

I was there this a.m. for the first time, and had a bit of a mixed experience. It is smallish and cozy, fairly busy on this Sunday a.m. I was with a small group after a training run. I placed my order — lots of the food items looked good, but a bit pricey. I settled on a veggie breakfast burrito. I ordered it, and was informed that they were out of tortillas. She asked if I’d like a «naked burrito» — I noted that they were just across the parking lot from a King Soopers, so the tortilla issue should not be a big deal to remedy. She did not respond. I settled for a breakfast panini. They brought a panini different than the one I ordered. Figured it was not worth the trouble to try to fix that. It was okay, the bread/bun was a bit too hard after being grilled, but it was filling and tasty. Seems like they could put more on it than just the egg and sausage patty. A bit of cheese? Some sort of sauce, veggies, an option for some condiments? Someone else in our group ordered another item I considered — the puff pastry with prosciutto and fig jam, served with a balsamic reduction. Very rich, very tasty. A bit pricey. Will definitely try that next time. Another person got the granola/yogurt parfait, which was huge for $ 5 and used Noosa yogurt, the good stuff. I also had an iced tea, $ 2 for unlimited refills. It was good, fresh, tasty, not too weak or strong. They served it in a Stella Artois glass, which looked nice, but had a functional problem — with lots of ice(and they could have used less, since the tea was already brewed and stored in the cooler), when you got to the bottom 1⁄3 of the glass of tea, the ice stuck together at first, then broke loose and all came rushing at the mouth of the glass, spilling and making a mess. Might be solved by less ice, a different glass, perhaps using a straw(I’m not a straw guy).

Seems like there is a recurring theme here. When the owners are not there or not serving you, 9 out of 10 times I think the service is not good. That really stinks. This place is close to home and the coffee is pretty good, but I don’t know how much More of my money they will see, unless they change their ways

Good coffee, but very, very slow service. Not worth the wait when there are so many others nearby.

They serve real coffee for those of us Italians who know what real espresso should taste like– the perfect pour of LavAzza!!! They bake their goods inhouse. The almond biscotti is made with almond flour(gluten free) and is absolutely the best I ever had, the foccacia is yummy too. The only drawback is that they are way the heck on the East side of town so I really never get to get over there, thats why only 4 stars lol.

We were on the hunt for a nice, simple breakfast. The place looked great inside. However, there were rolls and pastries right out in the open next to the register. I am not very fond of having every customer breathing on my food. Shouldn’t it have been covered? There were other items inside of a case though. We opted for a quiche lorraine. That’s was excellent. Wonderful taste and presentation. We could not wait to get to our banana walnut bread, since the quiche was great. Unfortunately, it may have been the worst banana bread each of us has ever had. Again, beautiful presentation but it is almost as if there were no bananas in it. I did not taste any. The atmosphere is great, the people who work there are extremely friendly. We will definitely give it another shot.

Great little coffee house to go to that is not in the downtown area or CSU which means less crowds and much better parking! I had a panini here which was great as well as a chai and a banana nut bread which chocolate chips in it. I am definitely going back when I get a chance!

One of my favorite hangouts are coffee shops. This has been true ever since I was old enough to actually order a cup of coffee and read the local weekly papers. The nights where we used to sit and sip on mochas, listening to spoken word were some of the best memories I have and the best of those were when we lived in Vegas(those were the days!) The atmosphere feels like home, the coffee is always amazing(much better than I can do with my ghetto drip at home) and the food is usually scrumptious. Fort Collins has some great coffee shops that not only make me reminisce about my favorite coffee house days, but actually create more of those fabulous moments. Tonight happens to be one of them at Genoa Coffee and Wine. I had no idea what I was going to order once I go to the counter, but once I saw the $ 5 wine special(Luis Bernard Cates-du-Rhone for the red and Valley Of The Moon Rosato di Sangiovese for white), I was all about it. Screaming kids will do that to you, you know. The girls working at the counter were fantastic. They were nice and helpful when I was asking about the red wine they had available. When they couldn’t answer questions, they brought the bottle out for me to look over. Once I had decided on the red wine, I was asked if I wanted to start a tab. Cue the chorus of angles! I think I had a perma-smile for the rest of the night. Overall, I think this place might be my second writing home. It’s close to where I live, it’s cute, warm, the food is decent and they have wine in addition to coffee. I’ll write about my next experience after I come back again and try some more. Because I will absolutely come back!

From the outside this little place looks like your average mini mall coffee shop. Fortunately that is not the case. It is a quaint coffee shop that serves a variety of pastries, breakfast burritos, bagels, sandwiches and salads. The scones & cinnamon rolls are baked fresh daily. They make all of the pastries and bagels there. They have a wide variety of wine and a decent selection of beer. They also have a featured red & white wines of the week. A glass of the feature wine is only $ 5.00. When you order your food they make it to order and will bring it to your table. They do not make you stand in a line like the fast pace corporate coffee shops. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. This would be a perfect place for a college student to get some studying done. The best part is the awesome patio, where you can enjoy your food and surf the wi-fi. This place is truly a gem hidden in Fort Collins.
