This is easily the best college recreational facility I’ve been to. I will admit I’ve only ever been here in the summer, so I don’t know how crowded it gets during the school year. This place has just about everything you’d want short of a racquetball court(maybe there is one I haven’t seen). There are various rooms with classes and equipment for martial arts, ballet, Zumba, spin classes, and more! There’s every kind of machine you’d need, free weights, steppers, treadmills, a huge basketball court. And the pool, oh, the pool! The pool has a lazy river and a rock climbing wall! There’s also a regular climbing wall inside and a miniature one outside. There’s also a massage center. I’m guessing it’s open during the school year. Maybe it’s run by physical therapy students. Either way, it’s pretty neat. Now if you’ll excuse me, that lazy river is calling me!

I came here all through college, and really enjoyed it. The track is above the basketball courts, so you have something to watch while running. Watch out for the yoga students, the only way to the yoga studio is by walking on the track a ways. The yoga classes are great, you look out onto campus during class. The place is always popular, but its pretty rare not to find an open treadmill or weight machine. The place is kept up nicely and the staff are helpful to answer your questions.

Not a bad place for students/faculty/staff of CSU. It’s really a beautiful building with a ton of equipment. The only problem is that it can get quite crowded during peak hours. If you like running into people you know at the gym, this place is great! If you hate running into people you know at the gym, this place is the worst! As far as gyms go, I do like this place, I just wish it wasn’t so crowded all the time. I will say that you will not find many people there at 8AM on a Saturday though!

I really like Rec Center at CSU because i could use studio for free as a full-time student. I practise Kungfu a lot there!

I love the CSU Rec. Center. It’s a great place to work out and affordable for students. It’s classes are significantly cheaper than those of the private health clubs in Fort Collins. The current construction makes it a bit more crowded, but the mornings are still realtively empty. The pictures post expansion look really nice. Too bad I won’t be a student when it’s done.
