My husband and I tried this place on Friday night and it was definitely worth it and will be going there quite often while we are in here in Sandwich.
Customer service was excellent from the time we walked in to the take out side, greeted with a smile and were directed to the bar side when they asked if we were going to eat in our wanted take out.
MJ, the bartender was very friendly and attentive. She was very helpful with helping my husband decide which roll to have with his pastrami sandwich, which he loved. I had the Cali Turkey burger, which was delicious. She also asked if I had had the Turkey burger there before because the burgers were not their regular order, they were good, but not what they normally served. It was delicious and I enjoyed it immensely so I can’t imagine how delicious they normally are.
They have a great beer and liquor selection.

Burgers are from BJ’s I saw them unload a pickup truck. Too much money for what they are

strip mall burger joint that serves overdone slabs of very bad beef — go to 5 guys if you have one rather than this POS — was in there recently and heard one of the «chefs» talking about starting her own restaurant — altho sounded like it would fail too. bad — bad — bad

JD’s has great burgers and okay service. They have great food but service is lacking. Still worth visiting though

I am not typically a burger person when I go out to eat however I saw this place on the phantom gourmet and had to try it! The atmosphere was great and more importantly the burgers were phenomenal! Defiantly stopping by again the next time we are in the cape!

I’ve been on both sides of JD’s…burgers with the family on one side, drinks with friends on the other. I’m the weirdo that goes to a burger place and doesn’t eat meat, but they have a great black bean burger. My husband and kids love the burgers, and yes, they got burgers with actual meat! Fries are great. Love the selection of Cape Cod Beer.

Great burgers and very friendly service. This is a family owned and staffed business. We came here before Star Wars to grab a bite to eat. We were in and out, after having a comfortably paced meal, in under an hour. Be prepared to wear a bit of your burger. They are a good size. Though we aren’t in Sandwich often this spot is a keeper.

Good food, okay service.
The food is good and the atmosphere is good. We sat on the cooking side, will try the bar side next time but I assume it’s similar. The service needs improvement. The waitress was very pleasant but we waited a while for drinks and they brought our wings and burgers at the same time which isn’t typical.

All of the food was pre frozen. We were disappointed as it looked like a quality place that would take pride in the food they served. Very high priced for frozen food. Not recommended for foodies.

This is my first post but had to write a review because This place is Awesome. We got 4 burgers and everyone liked theirs. I got the bbq bacon cheddar burger and it was great. Their fries are also excellent. They said they just remodeled and it looks great and I Highly recommend it for the food or to watch a game while you eat.

Great location next to Heritage Park movie theater. Need to grab quick lunch or dinner before the show then stop by for burger and fries. I ate the The Inferno (spicy), Jalapenos, roasted red and banana peppers with pepper jack cheese. My friend ate the turkey burger. The Cali, Baby spinach, avocado, Swiss cheese and vine ripe tomato. Odd that Unilocal and Google Maps did not show restaurant on map. Only found it by luck walking to movie theater. We usually eat at Tomatoes which has long servicing times which is not ideal for movies.

The best french fries I’ve had… crispy outside creamy inside. The seasoning was so yummy. We loved the juicy burgers with the pretzel roll or brioche. The games at the tables were too hard for me but the food was just right. We would definitely go back!

Great burgers, wings, and fries! Wide selection of beer.
Vegetarian? Try a salad, grilled cheese, or some loaded cheese fries.
Nice for take-​out, too.
Saw that Phantom Gourmet filmed there last week.

To the person who couldn’t seat 7 people. Really… Its a take out restaurant not an olive garden. If you have a party that large go next door to tomatoes. That being said, its a very clean friendly place. It has a nice westerny feel to it, the food is good and they serve beer. What more can you ask for? Enjoy!

Yet another disappointing restaurant fills this dreary space in Heritage Park. The Marketing and the Pricing are there to trick you into believing the food actually costs that much to make.
They don’t hand make anything, everything that is served is cut out of a box or bag. The burgers themselves, their namesake, are horrendous. To me, a small step above Wendy’s.
The atmosphere is miserable, a loooooong dining room and the server doesn’t give a shit about you after you order and then you have to sit through a commercial-​laden Pandora playlist and wait 15 minutes for buffalo wings.
Will never come here again.
They get two stars because they have booze and a wide selection of beer.

Completely DISAPPOINTED! Never again will we be ordering from here! Ordered our food to go. First off, paid almost $ 26 for an order of 2 burgers and 1 fry. Ordered a well-​done burger bc I’m pregnant, got an almost medium-​rare burger. Had to reheat the dam burger again in my own skillet. When I finally sat down to eat it, the meat had NO flavor and my order was wrong. Ordered a grilled onions, mushrooms, cheese and bacon burger, and they made me a bacon cheeseburger.
Completely disappointed with this place! Two thumbs down for a place that specializes in burgers.

Brand spanking new right in Sandwich! This is a must try!
So far so good! I had seen this place recently during my travels to the Heritage Park Plaza in Sandwich.
Being a sucker for good burgers, it was a no-​brainier to give it a try and they did not disappoint.
They have a relatively small menu for now consisting of specialty burgers three ways; Beef, Chicken or Turkey. They also offer a Salmon, Pork or Tuna specialty burger, as well as a bunch of salads, wings, and a kids menu.
A «build your burger» option is available and if you are picky about your burger like I am, this might be the way to ease into it although the menu burgers sound quite excellent also.
We created our burgers and it was amazing. Bacon, Tomato, Red Onions, Lettuce, Jalapeño Peppers, various cheeses, and Avocado which is a spread. Bun choices are Brioche and Pretzel… Pretty good choices in my opinion. Seasoned fries and a side of their signature sauce, «JD’S Burger Sauce.» Also got a portion of wings which were pretty good as well. All your standard dipping sauces apply. (I have a wings place, and nothing can compare but these wings were decent by comparison. Far from bad.)
Everything was cooked properly. The toppings were just the right amount to compliment rather than overpower each other and the burger sauce was very nice. A light, almost sweet bbq style sauce it seemed to have a touch of honey as well. It could be store bought, but I do not think so because of the sesame seeds in it as well. (I find that to be a nice touch.)
One other little «touch» which can set such a young business like this apart is the bamboo toothpicks used to anchor the burger and all it’s goodness together. (see my pics.)
While we didn’t eat-​in I still found the place very clean and the staff was quite pleasant and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to serve us.
Overall, everything could not have been better! 5 stars all around, I highly recommend swinging into the Heritage Park Plaza in Sandwich for a very tasty burger. MMM MMM!
