Place holds a spot in my heart, but no longer holds a lease. Uno’s is closed. Farewell dear Uno’s and it’s troop of darling misfits. To the days of Chrisy & Mark behind the bar and a chance meeting along the bar that began a true love story. Thanks for the memories past, present and future.

I used to like coming to Uno’s but the service of the restaurant was slow. I felt like the cleanliness of the restaurant wasn’t much of what they are now. We ordered the potato skin and it was good. We’ve also ordered the bacon cheddar burger and the buffalo chicken flatbread. Both of the dishes was okay. The buffalo chicken flatbread could have been better but it is what it is.

Great service and great food. Best deep dish pizza in town! Good for groups or just to swing by on your own. Recommend the macadamia nut dessert and the 2 for $ 12. One of the better unos in queens.

Once again a bad experience here. I keep trying but it keeps getting worse. Again had to wait several minutes for a table when there were many empty tables. The server was very friendly but had some issues. Drinks took very long to be served. Ordered salads and didn’t see them before the entrees arrived. This happens so often here. Bring the salad first, then the meal. Another server says he’ll keep the food warm. I asked the server where the salads are and she was clueless that we didn’t receive them. Salad came and it was good. Entrees came back and they too were good. The service is the issue here. Also seems to be more mangers than servers. They always appear short staffed and the hostess instead of a bus boy cleans the table half the time. Once again I say bring corporate in to fix this place up. It needs a menu update as well.

Server was attentive had the Salmon, red bliss mash and steamed broccoli. Broccoli had no salt no pepper, the bread stick was stale, my cousins steak was dry and her breadstick was stake too. Overall not great!

I came here one Tuesday night and i had a decent experience. My waitress was Tameka or something like that. However, she was very nice and a great server. The place was empty but it still took us a while to get our food. The food was mediocre but the server was great. Every Tuesday is pizza night which means individual pizzas are $ 5. It was an ok experience. However, it could of been better.

Normally love this place but had to write about my awful Mother’s Day experience which caused me to walk out. There was no wait which was the deciding factor in eating here, since every other place had a long wait(again it’s Mother’s Day). The hostess had a funky attitude which she turned up a notch when I reached over for the special Mother’s Day menu. Maybe she was saving them for another day but she should’ve given them out. Then we were seated and realized the dining room was extremely hot. No ac was on since they had the front open and it was very uncomfortable. When I mentioned it the hostess just said, «yeah». Ok. Well I will yeah my ass out the door. Went next door to narita, which has great food, service and was much cooler despite sitting at the hibachi table. Thx for the bad service Uno’s I found a new spot for dinner.

I normally try to stay away from giving businesses negative reviews because I consider myself to be a positive person. That being said, I felt obligated to write about my experience yesterday. The weather was beautiful and since my mother had come to visit, my wife and I decided to go to the Forest Hills /Austin Street area to eat outside and enjoy the atmosphere. I was in the mood for some deep dish pizza and we all decided to go to Pizzeria Uno and eat in the outdoor dining area. When we got there we surveyed the outside area and noticed that there were 2 empty tables. We came inside and were told by the hostess that it would be about 15 minutes. We were puzzled because we had seen the two empty tables when we originally walked in but decided to just be patient and wait. While we were in the waiting area, we observed a couple of people come to the front looking for a manager to complain about either the service or the bill. That made us a bit uneasy but we decided to stick it out anyways. Then another party came in and asked for a same size table outside that we requested. We overheard the hostess tell tell them that it would be about an hour wait. Then she looked over to us and told us «It will be about another hour — would you like to continue to wait or we can sit you immediately inside.» Up to that point we had already been waiting 15 mins and were starving so I convinced my wife and mom to just eat indoors even though we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. However, after waiting another 10 mins and still no table — Wish I could have complained but it looked a bit chaotic and disorganized, and I would have asked for a manager but I didn’t want to wait another 10 – 15 minutes. — we just decided to walk away(and there were still 2 empty tables outside!!) and we just ended up going to another restaurant(which sat us outdoors in 5 mins!). I wish I could give a review on the food… But it would’t be an honest review cause we never got to eat there! Afterwards, we all joked that it felt like we were in the Seinfeld episode where Jerry, Elaine & George are all waiting to be seated in a chinese restaurant and the host spends the whole episode telling them«It’ll be just another 5 – 10 minutes»… LOL! Funny but sad at the same time…

If I could give it zero stars I would. I had always gone to UNO’s in the past in Seaport and loved it, so I was expecting the same kind of experience. It had been like 2 years since I’ve been to UNO’s so I’m not sure if overall the chain has gotten shitty or it was only this location. Let me start off by saying our waiter seemed like he was afraid to come to our table. It took him like 15 minutes to come by and ask for our order. The restaurant was nearly empty and now I understand why. The service was terrible and the pizza is another story. Everyone’s pizza was cold, hard and looked like it been sitting out on a display all day.(flatbread pizza) The deep dish pizza tasted worst than a Pizza Hut express pizza. I don’t think any of us took more than 2 bites of our food. Disappointment!

Hmmm… Why did I suggest this place when there are so many other options? Oh yeah, I was trying to help out a slightly hung-over friend who just wanted something cheap, fatty & speedy. We were seated and both of us had dirty silverware that had food particles on it. My food came out and had multiple tiny hairs on it. One hair is bad enough… I found MULTIPLE hairs! Eww! One star because the service & dessert were both good.

This place is awesome. I used to frequent the location in Bayside however I moved closer to this location. First let me preface that I love the happy hour drinks/half off apps. The staff is super friendly. Minus 2 stars for every time that I come here close to closing there is always that heavy stench of Marijuana smell coming from the kitchen. Do people working in the restaurant not have to be sober anymore… I don’t care if you smoke that. But please be mindful of the paying customers who don’t want to smell that crap. Or at least have the decency to go outside and smoke it so it doesn’t disturb the patrons!!!

Excellent Happy Hour! I usually sit at the bar and sip on blue moons while munching on chicken fingers/fries and check a game out on one of their many big screens. Real cool and free spirit environment. Nothing spectacular… just another Uno in Forest Hills! I can see myself visiting frequently just for the Happy Hour.

Pizzeria Uno has remained at their Forest Hills location for over twenty years and for the life of me, I am unsure about how that’s possible. For years I walked past, taking a moving peek inside through the large windows, but never considered sitting for a meal. Why would I? I had previously eaten at the Bell Blvd location and did not enjoy my lasagne meal at all. It tasted processed, lacking the love that goes into Italian cooking or any cooking for that matter. The lasagne tasted like the chef had punching out on the clock on his mind, what he was going to do after work, etc. Most anything other than cooking for the guests, as was his/her career professions choice. But its not my style to paint a location with such a thick brush as to avoid all other locations going forward. So I entered my local branch a few weeks ago which now causes me to rethink my style. The wait for a table was significant and once seated, the real wait began. Our server had what appeared to be four tables, easily manageable for any server, except mine. The notion to address the table to relay his recognition of our presence did not occur and close to ten and a half minutes later, he appears with a stern and staunch look and an equally unpleasant demeanor throughout the dining experience. Deep dish isn’t my preference, but I do appreciate things for what they are, assuming they are served up properly, timely and at their proper temperature, all of which did not occur. The maddening aspect of this is that a willing to learn server who lacks experience can quickly get up to speed on running tables, unless they are more interested in leaving than serving, much like the assemblers of my meal. The food tastes assembled, not cooked with any feeling of enjoyment and the service is that of a person with a extreme dislike for his position.

The wait was absolutely ridiculous. We waited over 15 minutes to be seated after following the waitress to a table. Another 10 minutes for the table to be cleaned. Once we finally sat down we had to wait like 20 minutes to even put our order in and that’s after a waitress heard me complain about waiting forever to be attended. We put our appetizer order in and food order but it still took another 25 minutes to even see our appetizer and forget about how long our food took. The food was good but I wouldn’t do it again because I don’t like waiting around bored out of my mind.

I wish there was a option for ZERO stars! So after my last updated review, a rep from Uno’s contacted me about my experience. She mailed me a hand written letter expressing her concerns and offered me $ 25 dollars worth of their«Uno Dough»(voucher). I was looking forward to using them today but unfortunately, thanks again to the horrendous service, we had no choice but to leave the restaurant. We walked into the restaurant right around noon time, the host greeted us, sat us right by the window. So far so good. We looked through the menu briefly and already knew what we wanted. Mind you, it’s not busy. There was only 3 tables seated before us and 1 table outside. So I’m clocking our server, still no where to be found after 5 minutes. By the 10th minute, I finally saw somebody behind the bar and the host wasn’t even at her podium. All we have on our table are just menus, not even water! So I see the server helping another table, I wave him over, he acknowledged it so we figure he be here shortly. But instead, after a few more minutes of waiting, he never showed and we had about enough. We got up, walked out and went across the street to Chipotle. I don’t care about the«Uno Dough». At Chipotle, we got our burritos and drink all under 2 minutes. Verdict — I don’t have an entire afternoon to spare. I highly suggest you close shop and give it up. Uno’s service has been absolutely terrible the past several times we’ve been here. You can give me a 100 dollars worth of your Uno Dough and I still won’t come back. People gotta work, errands to run, and places to be. I can’t spend 15 to 20 minutes alone waiting for a server to take our order and then wait again for our beverages and orders to be served, and then wait another life time for the check to arrive. I’m not even surprised or angry about today’s experience. This was just typical. I’ve enjoyed your deep dish pizza in the past but I will not anymore. Farewell, so long, good bye !

Since I wrote my review I have been contacted by the UNO’S media support team and others who seem to genuinely care about the customers experiences with the brand. I look forward to visiting another location to see how things go. The team reaching out doesn’t change the rating i gave this location. The service was slow, the food was below average and the staff(especially the manager) seemed incapable of managing customer relations in general. There is never any reason for any one to feel invalidated, and especially not when patronizing a place of business. We all have choices as to where we spend our hard earned cash. All parties deserve to be treated with respect to ensure a quality experience.

Came here and got the choose two for 12 dollars deal. I got the strawberry walnut salad and the chicken scampi. The food was seriously really delicious. The strawberry walnut salad here is to die forrr. YUMMM! The chicken scampi I ordered was also very delicious. With just the right amount of sauce without the pasta being too heavy, it was a perfect dinner. The portions were just right for a person of one. One drink I recommend, the raspberry colada. It was amazing. Not enough alcohol in my usual drink though, but none the less very tasty. I’ve never been to an Uno’s but I’m glad I tried it. Will I be back? yes. For their very delicious pick two for 12 deal.

I’ve been to this location of Uno’s a couple of times now. It’s normally a little quiet, probably given that there’s so many good restaurant within a block radius. The waiters are nice, and the food is decent. I’m not a big fan of their pizzas, but I like their pasta dishes.

I eat from the gluten free menu anywhere I go, and this was no different than at any other place. Well, maybe different, because I didn’t get sick! It was a good experience, but I did have some concerns/questions. 1. The service was awful. I asked the waiter for a refill I never got. My friend asked for water that she never got. We were there for about 2 hours because the service was just thaaaat slow. I know it’s the 23rd, but it really was not very busy today. 2. I ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert and I was charged 2.49. My friends who ordered the fudge brownie sundae also paid 2.49. A scoop of ice cream is not worth 2.49. Just go check with Duane Reade about that. Otherwise, it was okay. The service needed to step it up about 85%.
