There is better service everywhere else but this place, servers with an attitude, not wanting to be there and not willing to check up on the table. Big groups should not come here, after 8pm you should not come here and definitely need new employees wanting to make money.

Have been coming here for years so should have known better but hey, I thought, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Ordered a Jack Daniels steak med rare, got shoe leather. Ate it anyway, was starving, but hey at least it was only $ 29. lol. Stick with appetizers and booze and this place is ok.

Jack slider buns are hard! 30 min waiting on a drink because of «an event in the bar area». Terrible service, used to be my favorite place not anymore.

I sincerely wish Unilocal had a zero star option. Service is non-existent in this place: Came with my son after work, my drink order was wrong, the correct one came after my son had eaten(severely overcooked burger). No one is sorry. The check is taken hours. Shameful.

Came here on a Saturday night, it was busy but the place is big so their was plenty of seats. Our waiter was nice and checked up on us often. The food was really good, I enjoyed it. Anything jack Daniels is delicious. The appetizers were also delicious we got a deal were we got 3 diff choices for $ 12.90. Everything is decently priced; a lot of good deals.

Food here has gone downhill. We live in the area and have gone here quite a few times, but I just had to write thus review now… The music was super loud. My husband got the Smoked stack burger. It was very greasy, and had to eat it with a fork and knife. The French fries was half the amount. My mahi mahi was super dry, the only thing good was the mashed potato. My sons fried shrimps were over fried that they were crunchy. The waitress came with our check with a piece of food on it. ??? Don’t think we will be back

Went here with my family to relax and do a little shopping. The guy who first greeted us was amazing, very nice, and made my family and I feel welcome. Then it came crumbling down. This place was not crowded at all, yet it took us almost 30 minutes to get soup, and then another 30 minutes after that to get our entrees(which is crazy). The waitress was very sweet don’t get me wrong, I just don’t like waiting for an hour to get food. This place needs to work on that.

Place is only worth it if you get a nice waiter. I come here every so often with my friends for the bar specials. The waiter Daniel is especially helpful and especially pleasant. Makes amazing drinks too! Had a salad for this visit… It could have been better, but the service was worth it, and that’s hard to come by.

Everything was satisfactory. Food took long to come, drinks weren’t even served until 30 minutes later… yes, we were sitting right next to the bar. where they make the drinks. Our waitress didn’t seem to care about us only serving more tables; she even complained that the other table should be ashamed of themselves(either for not tipping/or not tipping her enough apparently). Staff looked like they were all off duty, chatting and laughing, not acknowledging the tables they were serving

This was my first time here and considering that I went with my group on a Friday night, I was glad we were seated quickly. The restaurant is dimly lit, I would assume so that guests could have some privacy eating. T.G.I. Friday’s has a pretty wide variety of food items as you would expect for a restaurant chain. They have this 747 deal where you can get a small portion of a few apps and entrees starting at $ 4 and $ 7 respectively. In terms of the food, I would have to give it 3⁄5 stars. For appetizers, my group got a sampler which is where you choose 3 different apps. We got Buffalo Chicken, Loaded potato skins and mozzarella sticks. I honestly was blown away by how good the apps were… the mozzarella sticks especially were some of the best I’ve ever had! The entrees my group ordered were a let down to say the least. I ordered the Bruschetta Chicken Pasta from the 747 menu. The portion was perfect but I felt like it was just lacking in flavor. Another member of my group had the Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta and it honestly tasted like plain pasta with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Considering that we mostly ordered Italian-inspired food items, I will say that food chain restaurants are not good on making italian food taste like authentic italian food. I think I’ll give this place another try just because the apps were good and perhaps other items on the menu can live up to them.

The food is good quality. Items were prepared quickly and arrived at our table hot. As mentioned in other reviews, service could use improvement. Those times when we were seated near the front of the establishment, we were well taken care of. Today we were put in the back and we waited 30 minutes without meeting our server. Sought out a manger twice and was promised service immediately both times. I ended up going to the bar to get water for our party myself. Once we put our order in, everything seemed to return to normal. There are plenty of other food options up and down Austin street around here but not many compare in size to Friday’s. If you are looking for a place that will seat you quickly and serve you quickly on a busy night in Forest Hills, this is probably your best bet. Just hope you get seated up near the front of the establishment.

I’ve been to this location countless times, and if I had to say one thing about them, it’s that they are very consistent with what they serve. However, I wouldn’t say thats a good thing. FOOD(4⁄5): As for the food, I don’t have high expectations because it is a chain restaurant. I will say however, that the food is pretty good. I have had the sizzling chicken and cheese which I thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend. I remember on one of my visits I had an American burger which was downright BLAND. It had no flavor whatsoever. The apps they serve are decent, I always get the mozzarella sticks and boneless wings with various flavors. They also stir up some amazing drinks. SERVICE(2⁄5): I would say this is my biggest concern in this location. I may have the worst luck if its only me, but I always end up getting the slowest(mentally) and most annoying servers in this location. They definitely need to hire friendlier and more intelligent servers.

If zero stars was possible, this place would get just that. Came in for dinner yesterday with my boyfriend, was seated within 15 minutes and that’s where it all went downhill from. First, the waiter took over 10 minutes to even greet us and get our drink order. We ordered waters and waited another 10 minutes just for that(even though he walked by SEVERAL times.) We ordered our food and the appetizer showed up fairly quickly. The entrees were not hot when arrived and the guy who served us our food didn’t even care, just simply threw it on the table and left. We had no silverware to eat our food. My boyfriend and I waited and waited, we decided to eat the fries that came with our meal first since that was finger food and we were all done with fries by the time the waiter came to ask if we needed anything. He didn’t ask us for refills or notice that we didn’t have silverware. Simply zipped by, «everything good?» And was gone before we could answer. We flagged down another lady so we could eat our now cold food. An employee walked by and a manager had asked him«what are you doing now?» Whilst the employee responded with«Going to get something, do you need to follow me?!» With such an attitude, since that was how the manager asked him as well. «YES! I AMGOINGTOFOLLOWYOU!» Was his response. In the middle of ours and others dining experience? yelling at your employees? Overall, terrible experience, terrible food and terrible management. No wonder this place was awful. The people running it can’t even get it together. Won’t be back.

Christmas Day and wow this place was packed but we were seated within ten minutes. It took a little while for the server to reach us, but overall service was great. Friday now offers a perfect size portion for dinner and we had an order of the mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce(4 pieces), chicken Cobb and Cajun chicken pasta. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly golden on the outside with a gooey cheesy center! Loved them! The Cajun pasta was great. Al denote pasta. Creamy Cajun sauce with a little kick. The Cobb salad was balanced from the eggs to the chicken. The lettuce was crisp and non soggy. Delicious Cobb. Will be back. Def recommend!

We got seated and wait a whole 15 minutes before anyone attended to us with what to drink/eat. That’s shouldnt have happened because the tables were about 60% full. We ordered the $ 12 unlimited appetizers. The whole table had to do this special so that’s what we did. It was about 16 choices and eight of them were boneless wings in various sauces. For the bonesless wings, I liked the miso, SIRACHABUFFALO, and garlic parmesan. The pieces that were presented each round varied which was weird. The PB&J is not great. the wings themselves are covered in a thai peanut sauce on a bed of sweet and sour sauce. It’s yucky thinking about it. The flatbreads tastes like CELESTEPIZZA(THEMICROWAVEABLEONES!)… not good. The onion dumplings tastes like the sweet carmelized onions in dumpling form. Not for me… The potstickers were baked and not actually fried so that was a disapointment! the best ones out of these choices were the BONELESSWINGS. The potato skins were mostly potato and the cheese/bacon ratio on each potatio skin was VERY disproportionate. Dont waste your time here if youre looking for a place to eat! Basically, Id go here if I was on a budget and just wanted fried chicken nugget things… $ 12 per person is CHEAP since we «save» saved over $ 80. if we had bought those dishes at full price(I WOULD NOThave paid for them if full price…$ 10.20 for 8 pieces of bonesless wings. NONONO!!!) Service was better once the server tended to us, but it shouldnt have taken so long. Wouldnt go here again unless they have a better assortment of appetizers.

I enjoyed my Jack Daniels burger I mean come on it has Jack Daniels in the name. The burger was very tasty. I also decided to have boneless siracha chicken wings and I truly loved them. The service was great and my Ultimate Mojito was ok. I will return when my friends and just want to hit a local spot that’s inexpensive and the food is decent.

What can you really say about a chain that is popular and well known? Not the best place for amazing food or amazing décor but it works. Low priced apps and Happy Hour everyday, how could I not oblige? The wait is never long to be seated however service is iffy depending who is waitressing. Drinks are good but the«tipsy» feeling doesn’t last long. Jack Daniels anything is always unbelievably good. Something about the tangy and sweet sauce that gets me each and every time.

I love Friday’s but this is not the best location. I get bogo offers from them all the time by email. I received one recently and noticed that this one was location specific whereas all the past ones could be used at any Fridays. Granted this is the located closest to me but my preferred locations are Great Neck, and Westbury. Frankly speaking most chain restaurants I’ve been to are better in Long Island versus Queens and other boroughs. I went to the Forest Hills T.G.I. Fridays to take advantage of the buy one entrée and two drinks and get one free entrée. I despise coming to this Fridays because they don’t have their own parking lot and parking is scarce. I did find a spot about a block and a half away and paid a few dollars to park there. There is also a 2-hour limit but I didn’t plan to spend more than 2 hours at the restaurant. Tyree was our sever and he was very polite. When he first came over we asked about the endless apps special because I still saw it being promoted on their website. At first he told me it was still on but I was perplexed because I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere on the menu. We placed our orders and he soon returned to inform us that the endless apps promotion ended last Sunday. We then browsed the menu a bit more and came up with another selection. Then one of was told that the selection they chose was only available during the week. We made our final amendment to the order and this time all went well. This was the first time I tried the strawberry passionfruit ice tea but it was very good. It was pretty sweet though. The lemon and slices of strawberry added a tarness factor. For entrees we selected the Fridays Sampler, Pick three for all with boneless wings, mozarella sticks, and potato skins, and one Jack Daniels chicken and shrimp. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our food from the time we were seated including when there were issues with the order. The first thing I noticed when the food arrived was they use very strange plates at this Fridays. They are kind of triangular with curved ends. It’s been a while since I had been to this location but I didn’t remember them having these last time. The plates were very hot. The food was general Fridays quality though slighly below standards. There were a few variations so the way it was prepared than we were used to. The sesame chicken was sweeter than normal and the ribs were dry with less flavor and sauce. There wasn’t as much shrimp on the plate as there should have been and the piece of chicken I received was also on the small side but it did taste good and was nicely cooked. My son was happy with his boneless wings and let me try one. They aren’t very hot at all and have that vinegary smell to them. The heat is actually in the aftertasted and it didn’t hit me until well after I had already eaten it. Even still very mild. The bathroom could use some maintenance. It has a very mildewy smell to it and a lot of the pipes are badly rusted. The stalls themselves are rusted and coming apart in some places. Some upkeep couldnt hurt either. They were already out of paper towels and it was only lunchtime. The high chairs were also disgusting. Yes I know kids will be kids but jeez these could really use a wipe down. I was kicking myself for not bringing my cover from the car. The total for our order came out to roughly $ 35 not including tip after the coupon was presented for three meals and three drinks. The food was decent and the price was good for the value so I’m overall satisfied. I was actually still full later on and skipped dinner. By the time we got back to the car we still had about 30 minutes left so our entire dining experience was about an hour and a half from start to finish.
