Though its a small pop-up store, the staff is super fun and friendly and they offer a wide variety of costumes. On the downside everything is a bit pricier than Party City or the other party store on Queens Blvd(Party & Gifts Superstore). The other store sells costumes considerably cheaper but the inside is not as nice. I like the fact Ricky’s lets you sample the hair sprays because the neon orange did absolutely nothing on my jet black hair. Convenient and fully stocked!

there are 2 larger seasonal Halloween stores on Queens Bully — but in a pinch, this’ll do. small store, but organized. prices are pretty much standard at any Halloween store, this one is no exception. $ 15 and I got 3 items I needed. kinda funny that most of the selection gears towards adult costumes. so you see parents rushing their kids past the thinly veiled sexual innuendo outfits. for some reason I was talking to employees about«Wild Wild West», the Will Smith movie with the giant steampunk spider. here I was thinking I was the only one who appreciated this cinematic abortion. Halloween’s gonna be awesome… just another freak, in the freak kingdom…

I saw the banner for this branch of Ricky’s last weekend and my heart just sank. While Ricky’s offers a HUGE variety beauty and hair products plus accessories, much of their merchandise seems to be ‘gray’- that is not bought directly through the brand. That’s bothersome, because it puts the products integrity into question. This POP-Up branch of Ricky’s though is a different story– they carry only Halloween costumes and they’re only here through Halloween. I walked the store and was a variety of Halloween costumes and accessories, mostly geared towards adults. If you need a cute or sassy Halloween costume, this is your store.
