I’ve been here about 5 times now. The prices are decent and the food is good, not spectacular but not bad either. The drink specials are cheap and they seem to have events with food and drink at a great price. I recently found out they have games you can play which is an added plus. I like their comfort food, although I’ve tasted better. And the service is OK. The last time I went I ordered a big plate and saved half my dinner to take home, it would have been another meal for me. However when the waitress asked me if I was done I nodded and responded with«Yes, could I take this to go please? Thanks!» But somehow she didn’t hear me and just took my nod as a cue to toss out my untouched side/half plate of food. Normally the customer service isn’t all that great but that really upset me. I didn’t expect them to comp my entire meal but they did not offer to pack another plate for me to take or discount my bill, as most respectable places would have. I was sad to have paid full price and have half my dinner tossed out. Will be careful about eating at this place again.

Cobblestone’s was a pleasant surprise. I’m pretty sure I’ve passed this place many a time for the past decade or so when I was a college student. So when a group of us wanted to grab some drinks on a Wednesday evening, it was either here or LIC. Here was easier; my friend said that the drinks were on point. This pub is a true blue local joint. Unpretentious, and yes, the drinks were great. It’s also much bigger than it appears to be(isn’t that always nice?). There’s a front area by the bar, some seating and tables in the middle(where we sat), and what looked like an unoccupied dinner area in the back. Bathroom is downstairs. Be careful when making turns so you do not end up in the men’s room like I almost/did.

The food here is great, the beer is cold and the people are cool. I recommend the BBQ ribs

The food is always great, yes it’s a limited menu but it’s a pub get over it. I come for lunch all the time, and once they put Flo behind the bar I’ll come every night. Good beer selection and great staff. Also, they have a basketball court and host basketball and futsal leagues. Only proper pub in the neighborhood despite not having a pool table. Once they get Flo behind the bar the place will really be hopping. One drawback: they are stingy with the placemats, if you’re not eating don’t expect to get a placemat to draw on

Great hangout spot! Been here twice and beer and food was good, although selection was limited but it is a small bar. Staff was friendly except two bartenders going at each other, was kinda unprofessional but entertaining at the same time. I still like this place!

3.5 stars. I went to watch the Mets game with a bunch of friends. So luckily they have a large area in the back for groups. They were able to accomodate 15 of us with no issues. The bar is definitely a great place to watch a sports game. They have tv screens all around. We were able to watch the game on two large tv screens. Score. The wait staff was friendly and accomodating. They were always attentive. The pitchers were $ 15. What a great deal when the glass is $ 6. I ordered my usual, jack daniels and coca cola, but it was slackin’. We ordered pitchers of Stella and Shot Top. It was great. The menu is your typical bar food menu, chicken wings, burgers, fried pickles, etc. Orders were flying for the chicken wings of all different flavors. My friends enjoyed them. I decided to order the chicken quesadilla. To be honest, it was alright. Nothing wow. The pitchers and glasses were always being refilled. We had a great time. Ill probably check this place out again for another sports game.

Me and the Wifey dropped by during a snow storm before our idiot mayor shut down the city and declared a snow emergency. Friendly staff and food was tasty. Beer on tap were solid selections. Based on this experience we have come back a few times since its around where we live.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but after the 3rd visit I couldn’t. So let me start off with the good. The wings here are everything! So are the Cajun fries. I wanted to say the drinks are too but it depends on the bartender. So Natalie is literally THE best thing that happened to this place. Excellent customer service, her recommendations were good, she was honest and made us all want to come back and make this our neighborhood bar. The next visit we had here was on what they called a busy night, and the service wasn’t as warm and personable as it was the last time sad to say.

Keep in mind that I’m giving this place one star after dining here around four times already, so it’s not just a one time fluke on their end. Their prices are unnecessarily high for their bar food and the menu selection is meager at best. Trying to ask for a modification or substitution is next to impossible. They’re very stubborn with a simple adjustment. I’m going to give the wait staff the benefit of the doubt and assume that it’s the owner that is on the stingy end. He obviously doesn’t adhere to the«customer is always right» mentality. PS For some reason, he only chose to hire young, female hostesses and waitresses…

I really enjoy this place. Like most bars – it’s only as good as the company you have. Price is on point, has plenty of space, feels clean and the service is good. My biggest complaint is there very limited menu.

Solid pub fare. I’ve always enjoyed whatever I ordered — the last time I had a cheeseburger and though it could have been a bit more juicy, it was still very tasty. The portions are generous(ex. my husband usually gets two meals out of their chicken parm) and the servers are generally attentive and are kind to my 7yo. The only drawbacks(hence 4 stars and not 5) are their rather limited menu, and their lackluster dessert selections, but pubs aren’t usually known for dessert.

I wanted to watch the Colombian soccer game with a few friends who live in the area and they recommended this place. This place its sort of a weird layout. Looks small from the outside but its actually a really big place. when you come in its like a regular pub with a big long bar and some high tables in front of it then as you go inside there is a large dining room area that looked like a college cafeteria. They have TVs everywhere playing pretty much every sport which was great. They had a lot of servers which is usually a good thing but we had so many different people taking our orders and bringing our stuff I had no idea who was even our waitress. They had $ 5 margaritas which were very tasty and strong and beer and wing deals during the game which was great. I got to try the hot BBQ wings, Jack Daniels, their loaded fries(gravy and cheese) and fried pickles. I have to say all of the food was great especially the fries and hot BBQ wings(which weren’t spicy) Now the bathrooms were downstairs and they were so strange. I felt like I was back in elementary school. This place could really use a make over.

Your average local sports pub with TV’s everywhere, decent bar food, happy hour specials, friendly waitresses, and space in the back for groups. I’m not a drinker but my friends are, and we’ve always managed to have an okay time here. After reading reviews about dubious credit card charges, I’ll stick to paying with cash only.

I’ve been coming here forever. I feel like the credit should be given, when the credit is due. Very solid wings, with habanero being my favorite sauce, and hands down, best burger in Forest Hills. It’s a sports bar, staffed with young girls who could get easily unprofessional, it gets loud, and their core crowd is not your country club kind. However, it’s a simple, unpretentious joint that has been going strong for 30+ years.

The draft beer selection here is okay, but the quality of the beer varies-seems that certain drafts may have been tapped for a while. If you get a pumpkin ale, request that they not put sugar on the rim-they use brown sugar instead of the standard cinnamon sugar. On more than one occasion at this establishment, I have noticed that the bar itself was sticky, as though it hadn’t been whipped down in some time. This during the fall when brown sugar rimmed drinks were being served, so it was likely a result of these, but still.

I use to love coming to this place when I was in grad school at St. John’s, however recently I have notice that the once good prices have started to increase and the once great value we got at cobblestones has diminished. This maybe be because of the rising cost of maintaining the business. However the food here is still pretty good. I especially love the BLT they serve here. It’s still is a nice place to hangout with friends as well. Give it a try!

Typical neighborhood sports bar. Stopped in to watch the Giants get smacked around like a peewee league team on Monday Night Football with some friends. 30 cent wing night when any NY team is playing along with $ 10/$ 15 pitchers depending on your choice of beer which worked out well. Jack Daniels and Sweet Chili wings were really, really good. Cool spot to catch a game, enjoy some cheap wings and a few brews.
