Great coffee and gelato! Try the Mexican mocha! They also have tasty snacks and usually a gluten free option.

A friend and I wandered in here and it was a great find! Their nutella latte and sliced apple cider is really good! They have a good variety of coffee options and their panini sandwiches are delicious. Good atmosphere and and friendly staff.

Great cup of espresso. The people here are genuinely kind. The atmosphere is good and they are welcoming to any and all. If you like to play music, have conversation or read and contemplate Montecassino is the place.

It is lovely and quiet, just what I need before classes. I will be shooting my Narrative short in here. I have yet to cast my leading lady and friend. Coffee is fresh and hot every morning pastries are also delicious and made locally. The friendliness and warm environment is very inviting.

Café lavazza coffee and espresso are the best. The girls who run it are super friendly. They’re a little spendy but it’s worth it for the quality. Check this place out.

I have been stopping by Caffe Montecassino since it was opened by the original owner. I continue to return when I get the chance because I LOVE the coffee. If you are someone who likes good coffee, this is the place to go. When it originally opened they served Illy brand coffee and then switched to LavAzza, which I believe is what they are still serving. They also recently brought in Gelato. Although I haven’t had a chance to try it I think it is a great addition, keeping with the Italian theme of the place. There is always a small selection of pastries that always includes at least one gluten free option. My biggest complaint the inconsistency in the customer service. I have gone in there and had quick service and friendly conversation, and I have also gone in and waited 20 minutes for a coffee to go. I also feel that it could be kept a little cleaner. I am not a neat freak at all, but the floors looked like they needed a good scrub. Overall I will continue to return to treat myself to some of the delicious coffee they serve… and maybe a scone.

Slightly hidden away in the bustling downtown metropolis of Forest Grove, Montecassino is a caffeinated oasis amongst some of the aging establishments in the town. I’m mainly a fan of this coffee shop because of the décor and environment. Montecassino is modern, but comfortable; the furniture consists of plush lounge chairs and couches arranged around coffee tables and invites casual conversation by the fireplace or allows you to escape in a book or bury yourself in your studies. It’s even open on Sundays, a rarity around these parts! As for the coffee, they serve up illy Italian espresso which is great. I like my coffee black, though, so I can’t speak to the specialty drinks. They always have a decent selection of pastries to choose from, too; tasty and perfectly paired with coffee or tea.

How does a California surfer-girl end up in Forest Grove, Oregon? By visiting her Tribal Bellydancer sister in Portland, who happens to be performing at a restaurant(that serves Middle Eastern cuisine) around the corner from the coffee shop she happened to find… Said coffee shop looks fairly new and spotless. I was simply looking for a place to chill while waiting for sis, and what do I see on the door as I sit down with my jasmine tea from«two leaves and a bud» but a sign that says, «Thank you for chilling out, Ciao.» The place is a small storefront with a number of comfy stuffed chairs, a sofa and 3 small patio-style tables and matching chairs for those who prefer to sit upright. I don’t drink coffee, but it looks like the owner offers up the«illy» brand of espresso, plus a small selection of sodas, sparkling water and select pastries and yogurt. The feel is very Euro, only indoors rather than out. I’m learning from sources online that Forest Grove is a college town. If that’s the case, I would imagine Caffe Montecassino would be full of caffeinated students and laptops any other time than Friday evening. Café Montecassino is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
