King Taco

The food is ok… a bit over priced for the amount of food served. And it’s always too over crowded! Service isn’t all that good either. And the fact that they limit the amount of salsa they can give out is ridiculous!

Awesome service and alot if delicious tacos and burritos and a lot more if you want to eat tacos this is definitely the spot and the salsas are really good spicy but good I love their tacos TACO TUESDAY yayyy

Al pastor way tastier than the carne asada at this location. The burritos were tiny with barely anything inside! Where’s the meat? (See photo)
Only reason I come to king taco is for their glorious red sauce.

Tacos were street tacos, but seemed smaller. The price is right and the meat was good.
Their salsas were good, both verde and rojo.
For those of you that know the difference or care: their soda is AWESOME! Just the right mixture of all the right stuff.
The cheese nachos are no different than what you can buy at the gas station.
The tamales were good — nice and tender, but they were out of pork.

Sopes no crema, tacos no limon. What the heck we paid for plain sopes. In the pictures they show the crema.

All the rant and raves about King taco and it was blah lol nothing special I wouldn’t go back. We have better tacos in the Bay Area aha I’m sure other places around there do too.

Highlights — bad, don’t go, kinda expensive, regular taco nothing new
I had tacos that were really good and really awful and this was just a regular taco, it was semi-​fast order cause all of the chef’s they had there I had three crane asada tacos and the tortilla was kinda hard and cold,

The tacos are good but the long line is ridiculous. i was there a Saturday midnight and only one lady ringing with a line almost outside the door. Definitely he service needs to improve but food will always be great.

I went to king taco with my boyfriend ordered 5 asada tacos with everything and 8 al pastor tacos with just the meat. Got home and what did we get. 5 asada tacos with no cilantro or onions. And 8 al pastor tacos with cilantro and onions. What a disappointment should’ve gone to in n out instead.

Ehhhhh the cashier had quite an attitude, there is a long line… And the place seems kinda dirty… My first time here, probably my last time.:

How does this King Taco only have 2.5 stars?! I have grown up eating at the East LA branch (and a frequent visitor of the Pasadena branch) and I must say this one is my favorite! This place is huge, clean, brightly lit, and customer service is excellent. The employee who made our food (carne asada nachos, lengua tacos, cabeza burrito, and an al pastor quesadilla) was sweet and generous with sauces. We got there around 11PM and there was a bit of a line, but we were taken care of fairly quick. Food was amazing, as always and I am sure to be back!

If I could give it a ZERO… I would! I’ve come to this location because I happened to be in the area.
Our small order took 40 Minutes on a Sunday night! It’s freakin ridiculous! Not worth it!

I’ll definitely choose this King taco over the Ontario one any day!
This one is was bigger and even if the lines are long they move fast and you don’t have to wait to get your food for a long period of time like the last time I went to Ontario.
The one in Fontana also has nicer people in my opinion and the carne asada burritos are overall more full of flavor here :)
Oh! And the meat is clean cut without the little nerves and fat on the sides (which I hate chewing and the burrito I got from Ontario had lots of those)

Hands down the BEST place to get Mexican fast food, I don’t give a shit how long you wait in line for, it is beyond well worth it, great portions! I guess that’s why they are the Kang!!!

Calling ahead to place an order apparently does not mean paying for food then getting food and leaving. You can’t cancel an order by phone even if it hasn’t been made! Line is 45 minutes, you wait 45, then still wait for food to come out. Nachos and 5 tacos apparently allows you a maximum of 3 salsas. Tamales ordered on the phone ran out while waiting in line. Stick to local Mexican restaurants in the area.

First time going to this king taco in Fontana, in hopes of getting some delicious tacos but an extremely rude «security» guy RUINED the experience. They decided to close 4 hours early and had the security guy tell everyone in the most rude form they were closed. As we approached him he opened the door to say the lights were going out at 1:30 but when we got there it was only 12:13 and he wouldn’t let us in!
If I could give them less than one star I would because they have extremely rude staff.

A gem, simply! Heard of this place a lot, finally made time to try it. The restaurant is like a mini warehouse; big, bright, colorful, hight ceiling and ample seating. Line is long but they are efficient, lots of ppl taking orders, and food comes out in ~5min
The food; one if the best Mexican I’ve had; flavorful, spiced to perfection, filled with goodies. Only complaint is that the dishes are kinda small, had to double up to get full…
This is my go to place for Mexican. A must try!

I’m just letting y’all know, this is all HYPE. Tacos are mediocre. The meat was more on the dry side and to top it off they do not provide lemon even if you ask for it. Over all I do not eat meat so tacos are usually not my thing but I did try one. I had their alpastor which was okay nothing special. My dad had the lengua burrito and hated it because of how dry everything was. My mom and Aunty had tacos, they did not love them. The only person that enjoyed this place was my boyfriend who had their carne asada nachos and a lengua taco. I can’t wait to leave and go get me some Chinese food :)

This is the largest King Taco I have been to. There are plenty of tables and the lines are long but move quickly. The restaurant is clean and not crowded.
We ordered the carne asada nachos. They were okay. The flavor gets boring after a while and There needs to be some spice in it. The street tacos were good. There is a lot of meat in them. The carne asada quesadilla was thick. It was overflowing with cheese and meat. It also comes with an avocado salsa. My favorite was the chicken tamale. It was moist, flavorful, and with the perfect hint of spice.

For those of you that have not experienced King Taco, boy do I feel sorry for you! My mouth is watering as I write this review, so I’m going to rush through it because thinking about those savory tacos and not being able to eat them is just plain TORTURE!
So I’ve been a fan of King Taco since I was a wee little baby and have been to several of their locations throughout Southern California. Our go-​to King Taco was in Ontario for a while (since it was the closest one), so our visits there were few and far between. FORTUNATELY, they’ve recently opened this location and we’ve been flocking here ever since!
The location itself is nice and big, which was a problem in Ontario where we’d often have trouble finding a place to sit and taking it home was not an option. I remember once we had to eat our food in our car. So that is no longer a problem here. There are plenty of tables to choose from.
The service is good too, the ladies that prepare your food are nice enough and give you lots of salsa. No complaints here.
Saved the best for last: The FOOD! This Carne Asada is TO DIE FOR! I’ve had quite a few Carne Asada tacos in my day and NONE compare to the taste of King Taco’s. I really wish I knew what they put in them, crack maybe? If that’s the case then that is the best tasting crack ever! It’s definitely a signature taste I have yet to see replicated. So you can’t go wrong with Carne Asada anything! I prefer their Tacos, Burritos, & Tortas (though not all locations have tortas on the menu). I’ve tried their sopes and nachos which are just ok. I recently tried their tamales and thought they were pretty good. Their horchata is always tasty!
Overall, a MUST try if in So Cal! Your taste buds will worship you forever!

En lo personal a mi no me gustó ni el sabor ni el servicio mucho menos que ni pepinos ni rábanos ni limones tienen cuando menos para darles un poco de sabor ah estos tacos.

Yo siempre voy a king taco desde que era Nina me gusta a mi mucho el de LA Cesar Chavez st. En Los. Angeles ESE si es original!!! Ya ahido unas 6 veces el de aqui desde que avrieron y no es equal LA carne esta chiklosa dura. El burrito me sale mas arroz que todo. Los tacos la tortilla esta muy dura! Que pasa! Aprendan Del Los Angeles que aya si asen bien las cosas!
