The new manager is a fine man who really gets customer service with a smile! This guy is great! This store is nice and clean and the aisles nice and wide. Their checker Susan, that has worked their for years is wonderful, too! You can save a boatload with their rewards card as an added bonus.

best customer service I’ve received from any big chain pharmacy. I’ve filled here several times and each time they keep me well informed, have my rx ready quickly, and are friendly throughout. The store is so spotless inside it’s seriously shining, and if I have nothing else to pick up they’ve got the convenient drive through pharmacy. strong work, rite aid folsom. I wish there were more like you!

Best customer service of all rite aids, hands down! All the managers and staff are pleasant to talk to and extremely helpful! They always try to make my trip quick and easy. I will definitely be coming back to this drug store regularly! One thing is, I wish they would stock up more on items that are on sale for the week. But no complaints, I am one happy customer. People survey when they have a bad experience… They should survey when they have a great experience also!

Pharmacy girl was very helpful… I asked where an item was and she pointed me in the right direction. My smart self still couldn’t find it so she came out from behind the counter to help me. We found the last one on the shelf and she gladly told me the difference between the name brand and the off brand… thank you!

Went in to get a passport photo. One person tried working the camera, then another associate came and said camera was broken for the past week. Obviously passport photos are not a priority here.

The store is mediocre compared to other drugstores. They have a good selection of vitamins and lots of drinks in the refrigerated section.
The thing that makes this Rite Aid wonderful is that they serve Thrifty Ice Cream inside which makes this the best ice cream shop in Folsom. Baskin Robbins is too sweet and Cold Stone is too expensive. Black Cherry, Chocolate Malted Crunch, Mint-​Chocolate Chip… you can’t go wrong!!!

This Rite Aid is a pretty sad situation.
I went here with my sister who needed some travel items including travel sized shampoos and toiletries when she was in town for vacation. We asked a worker to help but he directed us to the wrong aisle. Turns out I dont even think they have a travel section.
The store was pretty unkempt and we decided to leave and go to the nearby (and well stocked) CVS instead.

This store has two things going for them: they are convenient for me, and they have good clearance prices on beauty products once in a blue moon.
Other than that, they are dirty, overly priced, and incredibly rude. They have some of the worst staff-​training of any store I have ever been to. For example, on a very regular basis, I will walk up to the counter with my purchases during a slow hour, and there will be no one there. I have waited up to five minutes for a cashier to appear before setting my things on the counter and leaving, and have often wondered (not that I would do it), would anyone even notice if I were to just walk out with these things? Even with a CCTV in the front of the store, I’m willing to bet their shrink rate is through the roof.
On top of this, when I can find a cashier, there are either two talking to each other and completely ignoring me, or just one being rude. I actually get upset when I see my usual cashier, who I will not mention by name.
I once found some Barbie toy marked $ 15 (with an affixed sticker) with a sign directly under it that said, 50% off all toys, and thought, hey, that’s a good price for that Barbie. When it rang up at $ 10, it took ten minutes and two managers and threats of calling Weights and Measures to get the price changed to $ 7.50.
The store is filthy. About a year or so ago, I noticed that there was mold all over the inside of their soap dispenser, and was thrilled when they nailed a new one above it a while later (although without removing the old one). Now the new one has been broken for a while and the old moldy one is still used as the main soap dispenser. The bathroom smells. The floors are just gross.
But who can pass up that award-​winning ice cream when it goes on sale 2/​$ 6? They get a star more than they deserve because I’ll be back. I just can’t help myself.
