As it suddenly went blurry, I needed my iPhone 6plus front camera replaced; and since I had my iPhone fixed at another Office Depot location in the past for a cracked screen(the Placerville store) I opted to return to Office Depot. This store location is closer to where we currently live now, so convenience already is a plus. The store is fairly big and when I first came I headed straight to the Business Center since I didn’t know which area to go for the phone repair. A gentleman name Nick acknowledged right away and also stated that he was the one who spoke to me over the phone initially. We headed over to the center aisle of the store and proceeded with completing the form for my iPhone repair issue. The transaction went smoothly, and the promised turnaround time was less than two hours. I came back to the store after about an hour and a half. I headed back to the center aisle where another gentleman helped me. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I asked him if my phone was ready for pickup. When he touch-based with another associate, she, too knew about the phone pickup. Overall, I have had positive experiences with Office Depot – between the two stores I have visited – this one, and as mentioned earlier, the Placerville store. I recommend that if you have repair issues with your smartphone that you give them a try. Depending on the repair you need done, the cost(s) you will pay beats paying for a purchase of a new phone. My iPhone 6plus camera replacement(for the front camera) cost $ 47, plus tax; and they did a great job replacing it.

Let me clarify — I don’t like shopping here for supplies, they tend to be expensive and has better deals in general. I come here to ship packages using USPS or UPS. The fact that I can bring my stuff over, start the process on my own and select which service works better for me(financially) is practical and the fact that there is almost never a line is fabulous. The staff are much friendlier compared to the arctic blast you get from the Folsom post office. A no-frills but friendly way to send packages with no lines. I love this place for that.

I use this location frequently as it is located close to my work. Nothing especially good or bad about this place. The store is big and I have always found what I am looking for; except maybe an employee to help find something in this big place. Staff is friendly enough and know the location of things in the store. Prices are average.

Fantastic location. Fantastic, knowledgable staff. Plus, they price match, are able to order products online with free shipping and get items transferred in from other stores. Make great recommendations and ensure that you leave with everything need to make your products 100% functional.

This office depot is actually really nice. It has more of a warehouse feel than most office supply stores, but it makes it easier to navigate and they have a lot in stock. I came here for the best deal on some home office supplies like receipt books, black binders, page protectors, and some various items. I was quickly able to find everything. They also seem to have an expansive selection of desks, chairs, and other furniture. the employees are few and far between in this huge store so you are kind of on your own, but they are eager to help if needed and like i said with the layout you usually don’t need any help. the check out area is a bit weird with one of the cashiers in the middle of the store, but its a good store and they seem to have the best prices and best quality.

I needed 30 of a specialized window envelope that only came in 250 per box. The young man, without checking with anyone, took 30 out of the box and only charged me for the 30. He saw my problem and he solved it. I will never forget this experience and I will repeat the story as often as I can. Thank you Office Depot

Tom the store manager was very helpful this am, as I had questions regarding a printer problem. He told me that if the new $ 160 ink cartridge that I was purchasing didn’t fix my prob, that I could even bring it back and get my $$$ back. I got it home and the new cartridge did take care of ink prob I was having! Service today was outstanding. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the price of the ink cartridge was so expensive, which I realize this store imparticular has nothing to do with. Just FYI: I purchased generic ink cartridges from an online company to save money. These generic cartridges actually can leak ink onto your pages, making your print outs look anything but professional. Unfortunately, I will go back to buying the original HP cartridges, as I cannot afford to have these types of mishaps and unprofessional looking copies.

Not a good day for shopping at Office Depot. It is three days after Christmas, but it’s also a Wednesday and we’re to talking about an office supply store. I came into the store hoping to view the floor models of some printers we need for our office. I asked about two models on display with plenty of those little paper cards that you take to the register to buy. Neither were in stock. So I asked if I could special order them online and have them delivered. We went through the whole login process on the store special order computer only to find out that they weren’t in stock online, either. One model, in fact, had been discontinued, yet they still had a store floor model with special pricing that should have gone another week. I chose another model. It was neither available online or online. At this point, I went with my third choice, which turned out to not be available online, but one was at another store. They did communicate with the other store and got them to put it on hold for me. I did end up finding another printer model that I purchased online with the help of an associate. This part went smoothly. I used the restroom before I left. It smelled terrible, had no toilet paper in the handicap stall and there were no paper towels to dry my hands, but rather a half-wet roll of toilet paper on the counter(no dryer available, either). While girl who helped me initially and the other gentleman who I was turned over to halfway through the process weren’t very knowledgeable of the company’s in-store and inventory processes and the application of my rewards account to the orders I was attempting, they were both very helpful and tried to make things work for me. Office Depot can apparently offer same-day in-store pickup of many items ordered through their website even if it’s not in the store. While this may be true, they can’t offer between store transfers of inventory, they have different in-store prices versus their website(which requires of a kind of odd price matching process), and they can’t seem to keep their in-store and online inventory updated in accordance with the models they have available. Hopefully, some of these quirks can be addressed so I don’t waste another 1 – 2 hours looking for printers in their store when I had decided what I wanted within 5 minutes.

Always friendly courteous service here. Their prices on some things are a little high, but they have a great clearance rack and good sales. They’re also one of the few places that carries Mac software.
