Awesome place, really convenient right off the bike trail. Had a flat, was back on the trail in no time. Higher end stuff, just the way I like it. Will be back.

I get it that this store caters to the serious bicycle enthusiast, pro athlete, business man-work commuter, etc… maybe its that i only come in right before closing, maybe its the way im dressed, maybe they just dont like me, but i feel pretty crappy about the way they treat me when i come in to ask a question or look at something. Maybe its that i rarely buy something, this place is so top-end on their prices(i get it… its a specialty store) that ive only ever bought one thing and that is a lock for sixty damn dollars. But when i come in im always shocked to leave feeling slightly deflated as if they could barely tolerate my presense. Maybe im just too good at my own customer service and i expect too much, but honestly, if i am left searching for reasons why these guys act so aloof and holier then thou every time i leave, i think thats pretty crappy service. Yes, i get it that its a high end bike store, but they are still ONLYBIKES and these guys are only bike salesmen. I think i would be treated nicer if i walked into a mercedes dealership pushing a bike then i have at mikes bikes in folsom

Came into the store since I was down the street to check out the specialized S-works 6 shoes. I was quickly helped by Brian who grabbed me a pair to try on and answered any questions I had about the shoe and even explained the extra features on the shoe that made it such a great shoe. It was great to be able to walk into a store where the employees want to help you make the right choice instead of just trying to get the sale. I also had the chance to talk to Sean another employee who was also very informative and to find out we both own the same type of car haha. Overall great experience and i’ll be going back when I’m ready to make the purchase.

Great shop! Guys there know their stuff. They definitely stand behind their product. Their service dept is very knowledgeable and Works with you on warranty issues.

I bought my road bike from Mikes bike downtown and a mtn bike from Folsom store. Mikes would not honor the 90 day tune up because I bought a aftermarket wheel set for the road bike off eBay and not through them. As far as the mtn bike goes. Total nightmare! I am returning the bike after 4 wheel sets and the bike goes through rear hubs after several rides. I am taking a $ 500 loss after a year of warranty issues. The service is not very good at keeping customer informed on what’s going on. If I had to to chose what store to go through it would be Folsom bike.

Came for a return unknowing that Bicycle Plus had changed hands(not told or noted on my receipt which I feel is completely wrong). Anyway while the staff wanted to figure out what to do with my very small return $ 12 I browsed around the store. I couldn’t even find one thing I was interested in purchasing. So I went back to the staff who decided they could take half my purchase back because they could find an inventory number but the other half(a water bottle holder IE Cage) they couldn’t take back because there was no inventory number and they couldn’t use the cage… like what??? Wait do you sell bikes… could you install this on a bike??? Needless to say I was not impressed and have no need to ever go back.
