Folsom Medical Pharmacy

I love this pharmacy! I will only come here it’s clean and the staff is extremely nice and the owner is always there to greet you. The best part is they fill your prescription in 15 min or less I have 3 kids I can’t wait a half hour or more like they make you do at pharmacies like walmart. They also carry Glo minerals a hard to find makeup line that I’ve been using for 8 years now and they have all the necessities that I can pick up while I’m waiting like children’s Tylenol and it’s cheaper of not the same price as cvs or any other drug store. This is a nice small family type run business that you don’t really see anymore and it’s always the same friendly people working! It’s nice to see that there are still neighborhood businesses around like this that are personable.

I came in this afternoon to grab some Floragen3 (this is the only place around that carries it). The girl at the front greeted me and was super nice! I asked about a problem that I have been having with my legs and she grabbed the pharmacist for me, and he was VERY nice and extremely helpful. He took the time to get me a little sample of some cream to try out. I hope it works, even if it doesnt they were extremely nice and helpful! Thank you to everyone at Folsom Medical Pharmacy!!! :)

Good customer service! They also carry the Metagenics and New Chapter which are my doctor’s recommended brands.

We did not have a good experience here. Because I have severe allergies to excipients and dyes we pay $$$$$ extra to have my medication compounded. Our first impression of this pharmacy was that the area where the medications were compounded, at least when we visited, looked very cluttered. (It should be pristine!) Then because this pharmacy is relatively small, I immediately noticed that the door between the public and the back compounding area was left open. This should NOT be done because of possible airborne contaminates. My meds had to be remade because they were put in PRE-​colored caps. (I told them that I’m allergic to dyes!). We’ve never gone back… we found another compounding pharmacy with tighter lab controls and attention to details. For a general pharmacy this place may be just fine… but for compounding we didn’t feel comfortable with what we saw or experienced.
