My husband discovered this little place about 10 years ago while working at the Folsom auto mall. My husband is not American and didn’t like Chinese food at all when we first started dating. His co workers took him to this restaurant and it was love at first bite. We currently live in Galt which is about 1 hour away and we make the trip just to eat here. The employees who I’m guessing are the owners, are the nicest people. They know us and our daughter by name! This was the first restaurant we took our daughter to when she was just a few days old! They are always so sweet to her and just so very friendly. We truly love this place and appreciate the employees.

Very disappointing. … they used to servez goohmyMungouughd Chinese in the past but that was not the case. We ordered rice for two, eguI hhidish, chiken Chao and fried rice. The eggplant dish can be typed on the menu as «eggplant dish». 5uim km oh through nook titoomiluluy o to hi NJ

Decent and well-priced food! Just know that this is basically a slightly fancier Panda Express, not real Chinese food by any means.

We went here for lunch and it was very empty and I honestly have no idea why! This place is quite awesome. They have a lunch menu were you pick the main dish you want that comes on a plate with chow mein, a spring roll, and either white or fried rice. I had the chicken and mushroom for my main dish and it was quite lovely. I like the chow mein the best out of the plate too There was only one waitress working and from seeing how she interacted with another table it was easy to say that she had some great customer service skills

I have been super sick for the past couple days so I really wasn’t up to going anywhere to eat but was really craving Chinese food and the normal place we go doesn’t deliver so I decided to give this place a shot. I ordered broccoli beef, potstickers and plain white rice. I was salivating just thinking about it being delivered. It took about an hour to get here which wasn’t a big deal, but when it did arrive I was very disappointed. I am used to broccoli beef with lots of yummy sauce, this was completely opposite. There was almost no sauce and had no flavor. The rice tasted old and had a very strange texture. The only reason that I even gave it two stars was because the potstickers weren’t that bad. I won’t be returning.

I love this place. I have been coming here for a few years and my favorite is the hot and sour soup… I will often drive here just to get the soup. The staff is the best.

We were in town to check out the outlets and got hungry. They have a lunch menu and everyone can get their own plate with whatever food combinations. We got Kung pao chicken, chicken and mushrooms, and chicken with mixed vegetables. Each plate comes with chicken chow mein, an egg roll, soup of the day and a choice of fried rice or steamed rice. Food was pretty good. It’s a lot like panda south in Elk Grove. Service was good as well. Would come back if ever in the neighborhood.

Great price for a combo meal. I always have to get a bit of everything when I have Chinese… so for them to have that prepared on the menu was great. Food was tasty and fresh!

We were at the outlets and wanted a quick bite. Nothing in the area caught our attention but Chinese food sounded good! Standard Chinese restaurant. Staff was friendly, felt like family owned. We were the only Asians in the restaurant(besides staff) which normally would be worrisome but we were in Folsom so it’s understandable. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and house chow fun! Chicken was all white meat yay! Chow fun was bomb. Really yummy and good size portions.

I drive from A good 25 minutes to come here ! It’s in same plaza as movie theater close to burgerocity . Reasonable price with scrumptious food

Have given this place 3 chances n tried several dishes. The chicken salad is great which is why I gave two stars and not one. Other than that, gross. Panda Express is better quality n pricing. The meat here is bad quality, the taste is bland, n it’s dirty. You know when you go for a bite n the old water stench is on your utensils? Ya gross. Avoid for sanitary purposes alone.

Had lunch and wasn’t impressed at all. The one star is for good service, but the food lacks. Mongolian beef was very chewy if you can even find the sparse pieces of meat hidden in all the onions. Hot and sour soup was the other star… wife had a chicken dish that lacked flavor.

Great service, fast and clean. The prices are inexpensive compared to other Chinese food restaurants in folsom. There only used to be one way back in like 93′ and folsom has grown alot since then, and most of the first Chinese restaurants are now gone but this one comes pretty close. It’s hidden and no advertising but if you stop by on a weekday, all the tables are full. Food tastes great and you get good portions for your money. Definitely recommend and will continue to return.

Located off of Folsom and Iron Point rd in the shopping center complex opposite of Century Theatre’s. Emperor’s Garden has an Entertainment coupon good for a buy one get one free ala carte entrée which is a value bonus. I have visited this place two times for dinner and had about 5 different entrée’s. –Sweet and sour pork is breaded and fried nice and crispy. The sweet and sour sauce is very good in that it’s not TOO sweet and has an excellent flavor. –Chicken with Snow Pea’s was very good. Snow peas were crunchy and the portion was generous. –Beef in black bean sauce was the poorest item i’ve tried. Flavor was off and beef is cooked like it wasn’t stir fried in a wok. No char marks, basically the tender thin sliced beef that was probably pre-soaked in baking soda as a tenderizer. ($ 8.95)-Mongolian beef had lots of scallions and sauteed onions, however again the beef was the same texture as the aforementioned beef in black bean sauce. ($ 6.95)-House fried rice had pieces of chicken, beef, onion, peas, carrots and a couple medium shrimp. This dish was very good. Didn’t have too much soy sauce like many fried rice dishes but to be fair it could’ve used a few more shrimp. The service here has been acceptable but not exceptional by any means. First time in the waitress seemed to be in a hurry and she wanted an order placed asap which was kind of funny because I kept asking for more time and laughing when she sighed. It’s the little things like this that amuse me.(: Water glass wasn’t refilled this evening and hot tea ran out without an offer to refill it as well, however they did box up all the leftover food on the empty table which was nice. I would like to try the lunch specials and like the location of this restaurant near Century Theatre so it’s a decent place to stop in to eat and catch a flick. To sum it up: –Order chicken and pork dishes –Utilize Entertainment coupon if you have it –Don’t order the beef dishes IMO I would give this place 3.5 stars but rounded down based on the beef dishes which were disappointing.

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve encountered. Staff is friendly and quick, servings are ample and the sizzling rice soup blows away any I’ve ever had. Bathrooms are clean and the way they cook their chicken is absolutely perfect: cooked through but moist and delicious. Kung Bao chicken very good, hot and vegetables fresh and crispy. Visited twice, and if I’m ever out this way again I’ll make it a third and fourth.

Have out of town visitors & so we decided to do Chinese. This reminds né of what we used to call ‘Meow Chow’… tasty but a little greasy. I dont know if this place has no msg or organic. I doubt anything has changed. If you want chiese or oriental fusion then go somewhere else. This place has the chinese zodiac placemats under the glass on the table. Its tasty down home. While we were eating a bunch of regulars came in… a la Cheers! The only reason I didnt give 5* was that the tablecloths are splattered & needed changing. Ew.
