Just a great place. Ambiance is different than most but great food and service. Everything is always fresh and it’s feel good food.

This might be another great find that i owe to the invention of Unilocal. While I was on my way to LGA, thr airline called me and put me on a later flight. So I decided to go off the beaten path and find a fun place to eat. I found the Oneness and after a few minutes looking for parking i went in. Upon entering, you immediatly get a welcoming feeling by the waiters. They serve you on every little need with a big smile and zen-voice. Zen is key in this yoga-like place. Although they are selling the concept as a vegan place, you are able to get more than just vegan. I needed a cleanse so I went for the soup of the day, butternut squash and the neat meatliaf, a vegan version of meatloaf but it’s still made with eggs. Both of the dishes were phenomenal and very light. Perfect lunch to me. After asking for the bill the waiter left me a note asking if I would like to try their special Peruvian coffee on the house. I won’t say no to that. After I receive a phone call with a huge issue, the waiter saw that i was getting stressed. He came over to me and settle my nerves. A real fun experience and i will definitely stop again next time i’m in the area.

What a perfect restaurant. The food makes you feel so good. My wife loves the bliss burger. Thai Heaven is my favorite but I have like five favorite dishes. Their tofu is great — I either add it to Green and Lean or order a side dish of it. Everything tastes so fresh. It’s hard to explain, but you feel a really good full after eating here.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I came to this spot. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical when i heard that it was vegan, but I was so wrong to judge. This place is stunning. The minute you enter you get a peaceful, zen feeling, and don’t even get me started on how beautifully it is decorated! Our waiter was the nicestttt man and just the service alone makes me want to go back. Now as i mentioned before I was a little skeptical when it comes to vegan food but this place blew my mind. Everything tasted amazing and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything! If I lived close enough to go here every week, I definitely would! I recommend this place to everyone!

There is an immediate Zen feel as soon as you walk in the door, and it did not feel like I was walking into a restaurant; more like a library of some sort. This place is also much brighter than any restaurant I’ve ever been to. which makes it great for taking pictures of the food. The establishment pays tribute to a spiritual leader named Sri Chinmoy, which I have no problem with. but the décor is a little over the top(in my opinion). It’s located in a high-traffic busy neighborhood, so parking is a bit tricky. The servers here were all very friendly. Now about the food. Amazing! I am just starting to explore vegan foods, and after trying this place, it makes me think that this diet can actually work!

I went within a group of three people a few weeks ago. walking into the restaurant was completely ethereal, everything was so light and calm it literally felt like i was just blessed… haha, i dunno how else to describe it… it was an immediate calm. the food… the food was amazing… we ordered the mash potatoes(yumm) stir fried veggies(yummier), grean and lean with tofu(good for diets), souvlaki plate and a spinach roasted veggie wrap(omg amazing. really). the servers were good(maybe a little preoccupied but vigilant) but i wish they wouldve explained some parts of the menu since it was our first time at the restaurant. loved it here, i only wish i lived closer.

The atmosphere is lovely, the service is great, the music is speechless and the food is amazing. My favorite plate is Souvlaki Fountainopolis. The food is very healthy and the presentation is gorgeous. Best food ever!!!

It felt like I stepped into a whole different world when I entered this restaurant for our dinner date… the décor is beautiful… There’s a beautiful flower arrangement as you enter decked with glass flowers, and mini crystal lamps and lotus flowers and a fountain divide the room in half… the pretty blue paint gives off a very positive vibe… the restaurant is small and intimate with seating for probably less than 30 people… there’s a bookshelf lined with books and there are pictures all over the wall… I think he’s a guru or something(I didn’t have a chance to read the back of the menu all the way, I think that was the writer of the collection of books… Anyway about the food, we ordered the buffalo wings and the Korean appetizers — they were sooo delicious!!! I had the raw spaghetti — it was so good it inspired me to go and get a vegetti(raw spaghetti maker) so I could make some at home… He had the Greek dish — fountainopilis I think it’s called, vegetarian gyro meet, rice, salad and tzatziki sauce… yummm, you know I had to have a bite… they also give you bread(we didn’t get it automatically though, we had to ask for it, and it came after we were done eating, but it was also delicious and so was the herb spread that accompanied the tasty bread… I would definitely go back again to try something else on the menu! You should definitely give this place a try! The food is great as well as the atmosphere…

This is a nice place off the beaten path(read: not accessible by subway) for eating with friends who have more restrictive diets. They have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options and a range of menu options. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has quirky décor. However, I wouldn’t say any of the food was super delicious or memorable; it was closer to something like you would make at home. This isn’t a bad thing, but with somewhat high prices($ 75+ for lunch for four) it doesn’t feel worth it to make the trek out here.

What a unique and peaceful restaurant. I do find it a little odd though, since it’s filled with books, cds, art and portraits of this guy named Sri Chinmoy. It almost feels like you’re eating at a library. However the food is fantastic and healthy. The staff is friendly and you never feel rushed, you just feel at peace. Tried the buffalo wings which was really good and had texture like meatloaf and had an added stick in the middle to make it look like a drumstick. Also had the pasta with mushroom sauce and the souvlaki fountainopolis and they were delicious. It tasted like meat. I cant believe it wasnt. Recommend this place, even if you’re a meat lover.

A go to for a light but filling lunch. Found this place with my dad and we’ve made a habit of going back just know it is CLOSED on Wednesdays. The wait staff is friendly, the place is quiet calm and relaxing. They offer a decent lunch special. My go to is the beet goat cheese salad. Dont be deceived by it being vegan or healthy everything is absolutely delicious.

Every item I have ever ordered from here is just absolutely delicious. The fact that they cater to vegetarians and vegans is really incidental because all the food here is just so completely satisfying. The«Boffo Buffalo Wings» are just wow and I wind up getting an order whenever I come. The blue cheese dressing is the perfect compliment. The Neat Loaf is so delicious you may think it is made with meat(if you are a meat eater). El Burrito del Corazon is incredible and filling. They even make a raw zucchini pasta with marinara and cashew ricotta cheese — all vegan and I didn’t think I would like this, but surprisingly it was so good! I just mentioned a few items, but most everything on the menu will NOT disappoint. I don’t like to eat in too much — perhaps it is too«zen» for me. As others have mentioned the service can be slow, but it ALWAYS friendly and peaceful. and very baby blue, which is the dominant color in the dining room of this place. You don’t need to be a follower of Sri Chinmoy to enjoy the wonderful food here.

The raw food options at this place are amazing! I ordered takeout and my food was ready right when I arrived. When I called, I had few questions about gluten-free options. Not only were my questions answered but the server made a few recommendations. I look forward to returning for a dine-in experience. Get the pad thai!

I had the Mushrooms Tarragon and the Savory French toast. The place seems very«zen», yoga. You know what I mean, but it’s great for a Sunday Brunch for sure! And the«Brunch» might be the«Brunner»! The French Toast is the the topical w/cinnamon w/sweet syrup type… More like Monti Crsto be the center soft like a fine scramble eggs! And the home fries(they called it «Fountain Fries») are also good!

With no friends around, a desire for pancakes and a growling stomach I decided to order take out from TOFH. I’ve had this vegetarian restaurant bookmarked for atleast a month and it was time to give them a try. I called in my order(the Fountain Special Brunch) and was told 20 minutes. The person on the phone was helpful with making suggestions and had great telephone manners. 30 minutes later I walk into this uniquely designed restaurant and pick up my food. I didn’t get to look around too much but I did notice all the pictures of the owner. There has to be atleast 15 of them lol Thats why, when he walked past me I immediated recognized him(he’s a bit older now) and gave him a little smile. He was walking around wiping down tables and doing what he could to help. The brunch special I ordered included a choice of pancakes or french toast, choice of omlette, choice of home fries or ham, toast, grilled vegetarian chicken nuggets and coffee/tea/orange juice. I opted for pancakes with bananas, strawberries and their blueberry sauce, a mexican omlette(beans, onions, vegetarian bacon), home fries and toast. The eggs were great with the black beans, onions and veggie bacon. The home fries were a bit on the bland side but the seldom pieces of zucchini and onions mixed in were a nice surprise. I didn’t have high expectations for the grilled vegetarian chicken nuggets, I even wondered why they were included in the meal. I also wondered what they were made of so I ended up only eating one. They were flavorful though and nicely grilled, not dry at all. Next were the pancakes and they looked absolutely appetizing! The bananas and strawberries I requested were mixed into the batter! Yumm!(I love when they do that instead of just slicing them on top) They also came with a blueberry sauce and two small cups of mixed fruit(cantaloupe, grapes, blueberries, strawberries). I poured everything on top and went in! It was like a fruit party in my mouth! Dense but soft pancakes with the tartness of the grapes and blueberry sauce mixed with the sweetness of the bananas and strawberries! Really really good! Even though I think $ 20 is a bit much to pay for breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed my food from this establishment. Ill be back, looking forward to dining in next time.

My review could be a little biased. I saw some of the pictures on Unilocal, and although I thought the interior was kind of cool from the pictures, when I got there, I felt like everything was a little over rated and just not my style and a bit too much The food– I understand that it is a vegetarian restaurant it was also not my style. So if you are not used to fake chicken this might not be the place for you. Service was great though!

I did not feel like I was walking into a resturant at all, but rather into a brightly lit and decorative house which gave off a very calming, peaceful vibe. Staffs were attentive, food was awesome– probably one of the best vegan places I’ve been to. Will definitely come back and try out other items on the menu. This place felt. «heavenly»

The service here goes above and beyond. I came across this restaurant via Unilocal(of course!) I had no idea this restaurant has been in business for 17 years. Amazing! The décor is peaceful and bright. It’s got interesting décor. Our server was such a sweet man. Checking in and making recommendations and being really friendly during our entire visit. We went with the goat cheese salad and the sampler. There is so much more we must try on their menu. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is interesting. It’s easy to spot the place from the outside. Just look for the light blue painted place on the corner of 72nd ave & Parsons Blvd. When you’re inside, you just can’t get pissed off. The whole atmosphere is just so calming & peaceful inside. The staff were all very soft spoken, polite, & helpful. Everything felt clean & neat. There’s also some photos, quotes, & books about Sri Chimnoy inside. As for the food, they were delicious! We got the nacho blues for the appetizer. It’s the blue corn chips with melted cheese, beans, tomatoes, peppers, served with salsa, guacamole, & sour cream. It’s really good. It’s not as cheesy but still delicious. If you’re planning to share with one other person, get the large one, it’s perfect! The small one is too little share. We got the duck surprise & the pasta with cream sauce for the entrees. We love them both. They were great! Flavorful but not too much. The portion is also decent. It’s not that big but just enough. If you are hungry or have a big appetite, getting an appetizer is definitely a must. All total, we spent about $ 36. It was definitely worth it. We would recommend this place to anyone even if they’re not a vegetarian or a vegan. We’ll definitely go back!
