Mixed fruit top right Durian top left mango bottom right kiwi? bottom left I must say, this was my last stop at a Flushing Food tour my close friend organized. We also had the waffle with butter? Everything was deliciously fresh, get the waffle with the fruit, it adds a nice touch with all the ice cream, jelly, and goodness! Cheers!

Walked in during«open hours» and they had a Huge OPEN sign and the place had the lights turned off and no one there, very disappointing…

It took awhile to find this place. only because I thought it was a store. It is located right when you go in the Arcadia Mall across from red mango. There is a little sitting area with about four chairs. so don’t go as a big group. I got myself the mango strawberry sago soup. which was not too sweet but just perfect. I saw them cutting the fresh fruit and using them also for the soup/purée on the bottom. But just for a bowl of this is $ 6, so it is pricy. Beside it being really pricy i would say it is worth a try.

Fresher and better than Beautiful Memory Dessert, but a little far off. I got the mango pomelo sago dessert, which was delicious, but the seating situation is a little weird as most of the tables are across from an open-walled cosmetics store, and the building reminds me of a hospital in Asia…

This place is quite a trek out of central Flushing. Ok, that may be an exaggeration because it’s only 3 – 4 blocks from the train station. However, the area it’s in is kind of dead and I would not make that trek again. I tried the mango pomelo sago soup and something else with mango and grass jelly. I paid about $ 11 dollars for both… which is pricey since I can buy myself a decent meal for that money in some places. There was a lot of fresh mango, which was a plus, but I just can’t see myself forking over $ 6 for another bowl. On the rare chance that I’m over here again, I’ll probably just go to the self-serve Red Mango that’s located across from them. Cash only.

This place was hard to find, only because I’ve never walked that way on Main St before. It’s inside the new Arcadia mall, right across from Red Mango. There are about 4 tall stools, but I’d just get it to go. GET: mango grass jelly soup & mango pomelo sago soup! It’s hard to find a decent HK dessert place in NY. Let’s face it, Beautiful Memory Dessert sucks. All of them are just mediocre.(The only exception is mango mango dessert, but even the mango pomelo here is better!) It is a little pricey, $ 6 for a bowl… but better than stupid mango juice with a few tapioca balls and a little piece of mango.

Whenever I’m feeling for some fresh dessert, I usually come here. I liked their original menu better but it’s not a big deal. I love how fresh they taste and how refreshing it is on a hot day. I usually get the mango base with sago and whatever fruits I’m in the mood for at that time. Delicious. The place isn’t very noticeable so you’ll have to keep an eye out for it.

This is one of the better dessert places that I’ve tried in Flushing. I got the mango pomelo soup not expecting much from it. But the first bite surprised me. It was really good! There was enough mango flavor, not JUST mango juice that I’ve tasted from the place inside the New World Mall, enough sago but not enough pomelo =(The price of it was pretty expensive. $ 6 for the bowl. But overall, it was satisfying. Also, this place is not very noticeable. This place is inside a building between Dunkin Donuts and Red Mango. So check it out if you pass by! I’ll come back to try other things next time!

A few friends have been raving about the Tasty Sweety on Union Street and I’d been meaning to see what the fuss was about. So when I found out from Linny F. that a second location has been opened as a stall in the new mall on Main Street and Franklin Avenue, I had to check it out! As a first timer, I asked the cashier for a recommendation and got the mango pomelo sago soup, under the cold soup category. It came out in a Styrofoam soup container with the fruits, small and medium tapioca balls, mango paste and coconut juice. You have to mix it up since all of the mango flavor is at the bottom, but the result is icy deliciousness! I wasn’t really sure about the tapioca balls: the small ones were fine, but the medium ones felt like I was chewing on ice itself, which is fine except I expected all the balls to be soft and chewy(wow, I am on a roll with«that’s what she said» puns). I’m also not sure about the pricing: my order was $ 6, which is a bit steep for what seems like a simple concoction. But, since it is tasty, I will be back at some point to try the rest of the menu!
