Great place. Great pizza. Great staff. I come here for lunch frequently with co workers and I’m never disappointed. Awesome salads and wraps in addition to the pizza!

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 24 years and have always ordered pizza from here. Yes, the owners have changed but my loyalty has not. The old owner was a retired plumber who made a hell of a slice of pizza! There has never been a mistake w/my order when they deliver. I’m told repeatedly«your order will be there in 45 minutes», its always a half hour or less! Whoever answers the phone(varies), is precise and always repeats the order to ensure it is assembled and delivered w/out flaw. Pizza well done, mozzarella sticks, chicken parmigiana w/angel hair is to die for. Always comes w/fresh garlic bread. The staff is always friendly and assertive. They are not your typical bananas in the majority of pizza shops I’ve tried.

Gino’s Pizzeria used to be Gigi’s pizzeria. Not sure of the situation but i’m certain Gino’s bought the old establishment and is now operated by a different group of people. Gigi’s, the former, had the BEST pizza in Queens. Gino’s, the current place, isn’t even close. As Team O. mentioned, the slices are ridiculously oily. I can take a little oil and do the whole vertical mid-air suspension oil drop off thing and the napkin dabbing thing, but their slices needs vacuum filtration to suck all the oil out. Since the dough of the slice acts like a sponge, the crust literally falls off like ribmeat coming off the bone. I have to eat the pizza with a fork and knife. I blame the quality of the cheese. The inner décor is nice, as it was fully renovated when Gino’s took over; it’s a very welcoming place. The menu is pretty vast and they have all different types of food items. Yes, they have beef patties! The pizza isn’t great(because of the oil) but they have a great dine-in special: One large one-topping pie + a pitcher of soda for $ 15. The size of the slices in the pie are legit too. That’s a DEAL anywhere else, but unfortunately the quality of Gino’s pizza deems this deal just okay, not that it being cheaper makes it better.

I just happened to walk in the place by chance at lunchtime. The pizza looked decent enough, and was just out of the oven. However it was really really terrible quality for a few reasons; 1) The slices both fell apart(basically the crust detached from the rest of the pizza once I picked it up). 2) The cheese was tasteless and nasty, plus there was almost no sauce on the slice. 3) The slice was disgustingly oily, so much so that the entire bottom got saturated with drippy yellow oil guck. Horrible pizza!

This is my favorite pizzeria. They have so much variety and they also made the best kind of pizza Ive EVER tasted. Its called the«Grandpa Slice». Ive never been to Italy but I could imagine that the sause from here is pretty close to what they have. The mozarella is FRESH. YUM!!! I am actually dieting right now and I just literally ate grilled chicken from there about 10 minutes ago and even that taste good. YOUCAN’T GOWRONGATGIGI’S…
