Massage Envy Spa

Scam. I received a gift certificate for a massage. When I tried to make an appointment they demanded my CC number to «hold the appointment.» I used my GC, and tipped cash, and — of course– they still managed to charge my CC! Thumbs down on this place. Massage was mediocre at best anyway.

Apparently there has been no improvement in how this Salon operates since the reviews of 2010. The girl at the desk with her new braids did not know how to sell a gift certificate for a 49.00 massage and a 59.00 facial. Its not 125.00. It should be 108.00, unless someone lied to me in school. She asked for help from the small women and was pretty much rebuffed. I am glad this is not my business. I would prefer a successful business. This one fails.

Well I can say after two years this location is the absolutely worst with scheduling… the worst. I will never be back here again. On the upside they do have great therapist.

Apparently this location had no regard for your time, I waited 15 minutes & had to inquire why I was waiting. The front desk proceeds to tell me there’s been an emergency w the therapist & they were working on getting another therapist which would take another 15 minutes. No thank you I will not be back. So unprofessional!!!

I’ve been coming at least monthly for over a year and yes, there have been some schedule conflicts but the manager has always done their utmost to make it right. I’ve been glad to have them so and convenient. The therapists are great.

While I cannot comment on the massage experience, since that was apparently not scheduled, I can comment on the service/​professionalism of the front desk.
I made a last minute appointment yesterday hoping to get in yesterday but was pushed to today– which is fine. I arrived early, eager for my hour and a half deep tissue massage. Upon arrival, it was discovered that I did not have an appointment and that they had absolutely no record of me at all (having called, that is). I confirmed that I called this location based on my call history.
At this point, I would have expected some sort of apology or anything — SOMETHING! Instead, the three ladies at the front stared at me dumbfounded until I said, «are yall going to do anything?!» NOTHING. I did not cause a scene and instead decided to walk out as these ladies did not even attempt to rectify the situation.
Whoever runs this place needs to train their employees on customer service. No one was rude, they were just improperly trained. I am very disappointed.
I thank my lucky stars this is not my local massage envy!

Our couples massage appointment set for 3pm. They didn’t have our room ready 10 mins after 3… head boss in charge was very professional and apologized. We ended being in separate rooms for our massage but we received some massage credit for the inconvenience. My wife loved her therapist. I think mine bruised my back… feels like it anyway. My wife said the bathroom was dirty… it had hair/​tampons… so that’s a negative

The Massage Envy’s here in Jackson are some of the worst I have visited. Therapists are decent but that’s all I can say.
