I saw a great deal on Groupon for 3(1) hr long sessions to sit in an infrared sauna dome for $ 65. Yessss. Score, right? Not so much. If you order through Groupon, you have to pick from 3 limited times so I chose Tuesday at 5pm. I left work to head to the appointment 1 hr early to make the appointment because I didn’t know how bad traffic would be. The route I took was only a 29 minute drive with normal traffic, but the only route there has construction with only 1 lane open AND an accident on the way. So, according to my GPS I was going to be 5 minutes late(no biggie right?). Welp, my GPS says, YOURDESTINATIONISONTHELEFT — few seconds later, GPS says, YOUHAVEARRIVED. I see nothing but a couple of warehouse looking buildings Now it’s 5:08(it’s dark) and I attempt to call but the call dropped. I see a lady coming out one of the warehouse buildings and I asked for directions, she says, I never heard of it but try across the street. Across the street, there are a bunch of mechanics. They say, not here, try going up the road a bit more — I go up the road a bit but nothing. I call again… it’s now 5:14 — no answer. Made a u-turn and drove a bit. Pulled into what looks like a bunch of offices — you can not see the signs or address on the building. I got in and get out to walk around, yes, there it is… BodyWorks. Park the car, get out, try to open the door, LOCKED. No signage in the window at this point. Just a locked door. Oh wait, there’s another entrance but it says, employees only — maybe they can’t here me knocking so I’ll crack the door and yell for someone. Open the door and lights are on. HELLO — is anything there(3−4times) — the place isn”t big at all. I asked a business man coming out of another office if he knew how to get into the building and he says, I never see anyone over there ma’am. He proceeds to help see how to get in and NOW, there’s a sign in the window that says CLOSED. It wasn’t there just 2 minutes prior. So I go back to the unlocked employee entrance and apparently the owner/only employee is hiding inside. She’s sent her dogs running into the room now. Cute little things. But I didn’t want them to get out so I close the door up and continue knocking. No answer. WOW. Unbelievable. So I call over and over and no answer but walking back to my car, there’s a red sports car with a tag that says BODYWORKS. Oh so she’s here. I called again and left a message letting her know that I’m outside trying to get in for my appointment and she sends me a text message at 5:23 saying, «After 15 minutes late, you need to reschedule. You can online and do so. Thank you. Lashea Sabtini». This is comical. So I asked her if she would not text me but instead call me especially since I called before 15 minutes(which was NEVER mention in a policy or rules with the scheduling app). So she calls and right after I say hello, she aggressively starts saying something is wrong with her phone and that she won’t take appointments 15 minutes late. I tried to explained that I called before 15 minutes and she didn’t answer… she says NOYOUDIDNOT(now she’s talking over me with a raised voice) and I try to say, well, maybe you didn’t get my call if something is wrong with your phone(isn’t that a logical suggestion?). She then says I’m lying and hangs up in my face. This is awkward but I’m thinking maybe something is wrong with her phone again… let me call back. I call back no answer(as I sit outside in the parking lot) I text to let her know that she’s being unprofessional and rude and I’m glad I didn’t get a chance to use her services if this is the kind of business she runs. I let her know that I have a call log and can prove I called before 5:15 but since this is how she handles customer concerns, I’d just use Unilocal and other social media outlets to be warned of her business practice and customer service resolutions. Then she responds back saying, «I don’t deserve being talked to like you did…» I’m dumbfounded at this point as I barely got 3 sentences out before she kept cutting me off and wouldn’t allow me to talk. She did all the talking — it was maybe a 30 sec conversation at best before she hung up in my face. I asked her to please cease texting 4 times before she stopped. She basically sent the following text: 1) You owe me money for what you cost me(not sue what this means). 2) I take your messages as threats(me telling her that I would post on social media) 3) Leave my place of business or I will call the police(classic — I wasn’t even on the premises — i left immediately after sending my text of her unprofessionalism) Her last and final unbelievable text was 4)April S.(crazy bitch) Can your review outdo that #4. WOWSERS. Guess I’m a crazy bitch cause I expect a business to behave like a business and not a no class street walker. Shrugs. So yeah, don’t go here unless you like rude business owners who call you bitches and what not.
