I eat here for lunch quite often. The staff does a good job. I haven’t had a bad meal at lunch or dinner. This place serves comfort food.

had too many bad experiences. bad waitresses who never come back to the table. my sweet potato fries came to the table without seasoning 5 visits one after the other. hostesses who linger at the table physically touching your spouse numerous times making him visibly uncomfortable. (arm on the shoulder?) just a really unorganized place. try lewisville location

I frequently go to Cotton Patch Café when I’ve got people visiting from out of town and I’m looking for a place to feed everyone (grandparents to grandkids) in a good atmosphere.
I have been to this location several times in the past few months and I’m always consistently impressed by how fresh, fast and inexpensive the food is!
Service is amazing start to finish: I’m not an old guy (I don’t think) but I remember when every restaurant had service like this. It’s especially great to see the genuine enthusiasm that comes from each and every employee.
Food is great, can’t go wrong with the chicken fried steak, but I recommend branching out and trying something new. If you go as a party of two be warned: an appetizer and entrée between two is usually more than enough food and can be had for about $ 15-​$ 20: not bad for a sit down restaurant!

I like this restaurant chain– but this location is particularly bad. All the food was soaked in grease. The fried pickles were just clumps of batter. I will be sticking with the Lewisville location.

Ordered the chicken tender meal. Fries that came out with it were old. The tenders were stringy and tasted off. They were either thrown in the fryer right out of the freezer or under cooked. Reminded me of gator meat. Wife had the chicken fried steak. Large portion but way too much gravy on it and the meat quality seemed poor. Wont go back

Visited the location about 3 times and haven’t been disappointed about anything. Food is great, tables are clean, staff is nice, and bathrooms have always been clean. Will keep coming to this location.

I had a lunch date here yesterday with my husband and we really enjoyed it. Service was great, very prompt, no wait. We ordered the chips, salsa and queso — amazing! Our meals were good, I had a veggie plate and everything was fresh. My husband had meatloaf and enjoyed it.
We love this particular location as the service is always friendly and the food never disappoints. We look forward to our next visit.

I was very happy with everything. It did take a minute to get seated but then again I can’t stand very long. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was amazing. She was checking on in on is through out the meal. (Not a crazy amount, just perfect.) She had drinks refreshed instantly. Loved this place!

The food here is good but I love the people. The staff is always so welcoming and nice. Jennifer is the cutest little thing and so sweet. I ordered a turkey club sandwich with no bacon. When the server brought it out it had bacon. They took it back and when they brought it back I could tell that they literally just plucked the bacon out. I have a pork allergy so Jennifer was kind enough to take it back, saying as a vegetarian herself she totally understood. My sandwich was brought back freshly made. Other than that I like this location, especially since it’s so close to my job.

I had the Cajun blackened tilapia and shrimp plate. It was decidedly average. I tried the chicken and dumplings and it was decent. The bar looked to be very limited. My dad had the mango tilapia and he was disappointed with it. This place is fine but nothing special.

Never had been to a Cotton Patch… I don’t think they have these in Cali … at least not San Diego. Wanted a quick meal, not fast food, so stopped here. Maybe an off night? Super slow. Waiter was very nice, apologetic, and gave us complimentary dessert since the wait was terrible, and they screwed up our order. Nice gesture, his tip did not suffer. :)
Surprisingly the black eyed peas were pretty good. Also chicken philly was not bad.
Not our kind of spot, but server was nice.

This a the place to go for great home style food! Try the chicken fried chicken with some fried okra and add a role or two! Good place to take the family out!

I wonder if they will sell me the whole pot of chicken and dumplings?

Really good! Think of a more southern and soulful tasting logans or Texas roadhouse. They have chicken fried everything! Super yummy plus awesome SWEET tea. They offer a smaller version of some of the meals for $ 7.99 instead of the full size for $ 9.99 (same number of sides, smaller portions). Cheese fries were killer good as well. Ordered a mixed drink, was alittle weak and did not love the mix used for my daqari, which is which kept them from 5-​star status.

We used to go to Cotton Patch fairly often, now not so much. The tilapia is consistently good as is the potato cheese soup.
They do an excellent job on their to-​go orders and have never forgotten anything. Today I got the Garden Patch salad to go and the grilled chicken that came with it tasted like it was cooked last week. There’s just no way that was cooked to order. For a company that prides itself on fresh food, they need to do a better job.

Cotton Patch Café is my favorite place to eat. Their food is always good home cooking and I’ve haven’t had anything that wasn’t awesome. I love the Chicken Fried Steak, Pot Roast and the broccoli rice casserole so far, but I’ll be back to try more dishes soon!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM… this food is down home good. Get ready for some home style cook’n! They are going to start you off with the big, light, fluffy dinner rolls good enough to make the meal on. Service is ALWAYS good here and this place is immaculately clean all the time. I am a HUGE FAN of the pork chops with these cinnamon apples perfect for dipping those chops into DE-​LISH! They do mashed potatoes with skins all mixed in there and they are quite good as well, and did I mention the okra??? I have never been disappointed with this fare. VERY GOOD!
