Disappointed — clean shop and friendly service but shame on me for not doing my due diligence before the fact (I didn’t think I had to going to Christian brothers) after researching my services I came to find out that I paid close to double other shops. Good service shouldn’t cost double.

If your a girl, I would rethink taking your car here.
I own a 2005 Nissan 350Z. I have a family friend who has been a mechanic for 25 years. Before I made this purchase, he inspected the car before I purchased it. When I got the car it needed mostly cosmetic repairs. I took my car into get an alignment done after the purchase. I waited 45 minutes or so in their waiting room until someone came out to get me. They proceeded to show me why they could not do the alignment that day. They told me that the left lower control arm was «wiggly».
They then give me a long list of other things that needed to be done. As soon as I took my car home I talked to my family friend. I asked him to check out everything that they had stated was wrong with my car. They listed she had two leaks in the engine. My mechanic said «There were no visible signs of leakage in the specified locations»
He proceed to tell me that «They were taking advantage if me. Not only because of my gender, but also the assumption that I would have no knowledge of cars.»
I am sure they do not do this to everyone, but this was what happened to me. I can only hope sharing this experience helps someone.

Brought in my son’s Kia to replace the timing belt and a front wheel bearing that was thumping. They charged $ 1400. Seemed a bit high, so I called the local Kia dealer. They charge $ 1100 for the same repairs and include the serpentine drive belt.
For some reason, Christian Bros. did NOT replace the drive belt, but they replaced the water pump which was not a problem to my knowledge. Going by there today to sort this out. I will post an update shortly.

I think it’s fascinating to see the variations in the critical reviews for a business. But I understand how that happens.
I just used Christian Brothers for the first time this past week for a 4 wheel alignment on my 2014 Altima. This was the third auto repair shop I visited on this day. The first one was a dealership where the pricing was a bit too high. The second shop was a little brake shop but they were not equipped to do the work I needed.
So I ended up at Christian Brothers simply because they were recommended by Discount Tire and I wanted to give them a try.
Although I did not have an appointment for service, Lance worked me into their schedule and the car was finished up in about an hour. I was quite pleased with the work they did and the price they charged. I found the staff to be especially professional and I have no hesitation to use them again.
I also liked the fact that it is a 24 month alignment. Oh, and the improvement in steering is noticeable. Indeed, this is as good as it gets.

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. First they tried to charge me 1600 for something Ford only wanted 800 to fix. Then anytime I needed paperwork from them, no one helped very incompetent people working there. If you want to be robbed and then feel like your talking to a toddler this is the place for you.

I brought my truck in for some AC repairs and worked with Jeff and Lance. Both were very helpful in getting me an estimate and keeping me posted on the repairs needed. When I got it back my AC was blowing cold ²⁴⁄₇ and a blessing since the Texas heat is around the corner. The car service Christian Brothers has made it convenient to get from the shop back to the house and not have to get someone to go out of their way to help me. I will be back in the future for all of my repairs.
